Love the way the sweater looks even without sleeves. ❤❤
Me too!! If I didn't want to actually be warm while wearing a sweater, I would just finish it off as it is.
Really enjoy your podcasts. Wishing you the best with your upcoming surgery, and congratulations on the wedding. I am a fan of Helen Stewart’s shawl patterns. They’re so beautiful and so easy to follow.
Deborah, Jen knit the whole of Helen Stewart’s Dust of Snow with fingering weight with Suri alpaca ‘held double’ and didn’t realise until the end it meant two strands total not three! So you are very right clearly that can be a confusing terminology!!
Your Arconia is looking sooo delicious! That yarn is ❤
Lucky Stars are my next socks, best pattern x
Love your 'scrappy' striped socks Deborah, very effective - & I look forward to seeing the next pair. ❤
I enjoyed this podcast and glad you shared what is going on in your life. You definitely have a lot going on! A wedding, a procedure(?) and a baby. Not to mention your yarn dyeing business. Oh my! So, I have knit a few baby items designed by Anne Hansen of Knitspot. Very well written and great looking. Also Debbie Bliss has a lot of baby knits. Hers are a bit on the vintage side with a modern twist. I also have scoliosis and it affects a good part of life for me. I do have a problem with my right jaw locking, but nothing like what you are describing. I pray that this guard you will be wearing will relieve the pain you are having. I love the pink sweater that you are making. The color looks good on you. Hope to see you soon, but if not, I know why. God bless you and your family.
Scoliosis and TMJ are no fun! Well, I cannot think of any physical or mental ailment that is fun, but I can say I do not enjoy those. 🤣 I'm so sorry you deal with that as well. I will have a look at Debbie Bliss and Anne Hansen patterns. Thank you so much for your recommendations, and for your continued support!
I love your dusty pink blouse and Ami’s jumper with no sleeves is totally doing it for me. Think I’ll do that and get her advice on finishing the armholes. Xxx
The colors on your West shawl are beautiful!
Thank you so much! I hope to get it finished soon.
Great podcast! I hope your surgery goes well and have fun at your daughter’s wedding!
Enjoying your podcasts. Love the fragmentation shawl! Getting ready to start one. Have the prep work done and just have to get on it. I’m expecting it will be a longer project. Thanks for the inspiration. I’ve been watching Emily make hers too. They are both so fabulous! ❤
I hope you really enjoy making yours. I think the preparation work helped me to make sure I would like the look of mine.
Lovely podcast, Deborah. 🥰 I love the colors in your Fragmentation shawl! You have such cute sock patterns...I need to get them. I hope the upcoming weeks go very well for you. Take care and thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much!
Thanks for your podcast. Hope your surgery goes well. Enjoy the wedding. X
Good luck with your surgery. What a trial u r having. Love your shawl
Thank you. I feel confident that it will bring positive results so that helps when I'm in pain or feel overwhelmed.
Thank you, Deborah! And I totally agree about the baby knits and patterns. That's probably why I've stayed away from them most of the time. For now I'll settle for admiring them on Instagram posts from Scandinavian knitters that know what they're doing. Hahahah.
I see I am not alone then. hopefully, I find some that I like. My grandmother made my oldest daughter a bright pink cardigan when she was born. It was so sweet, but the fit was just as I described in the video and she really wasn't able to wear it, which made me sad. My husband has three sweaters his grandmother made for him when he was a toddler and they were a great fit, which I still have. Toddlers seem to be easier, for some reason.
You sold me on the Fragmentations shawl. I love your colors! Rachelle in Seattle
Oh, yay! Thank you!
Oh wow!! I can’t believe I won. Thank you so much!
Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Have you looked at Tin Can Knits? The Gramps Cardigan is adorable!!
That is a pattern that my sister, Emily of Salt City Knits makes often. It is a cute one. Thank you for your recommendation!
Entering the giveaway mean while at the castle ❤🎉
I ❤❤❤ ur yarn colors. Right now recovering from surgery and have another coming. So yarns r on hold. But when I return to knit I look forward to working w u. I've seen so many earth colors that it's boring. So looking forward to ur pods. BTW, my husband is a dentist (retired). May I suggest u seek another opinion for ur TMJ? Thanks for sharing ur shop.
I hope your recovery is going well. I'm glad to know that I'm not alone in liking to see some color. I love and appreciate all colors, just not for me to wear, especially in the warmer month of the year. That's when I really get some bright and bold colors going. I went to a fiber festival this weekend and determined what to wear by what was the brightest. 😁
I appreciate your concern for my mouth. I have actually had several opinions on this and feel comfortable with my decision. 💗

a bit off topic but i love your hair in this video!
Awe, thank you. I have spent the past year really trying to embrace my natural waves/curls, but sometimes I just want to do something different, as I did in this video.
Have a look at baby knits by Frogginette (Lisa Chemery). Her patterns are written well and look great.
Also Tin Can Knits!
Thank you, I will check that out. 👍
@@alicewaller4306 thanks!
Wishing you all the very best, i hope everything goes smoothly and you are back with us soon. X
Thank you so much.💗
What is the adorable little wrap you have on? ❤
Ah, yes, I didn't mention that in the video. It is a modified Converging Lines Cowl by Purl Soho. I actually have a video about it right before this episode on "What's New in the Candy Shoppe" March 30
