I just re-wrapped my hood my self because the first time had some bad creases and I took 3 hours to do it and I am amazed at how much better it looks. I'm just really proud of my self, haha.
The self-healing properties have a limitation. Actually, the data sheet clarify that limitation. Usually, if the scratch exceed 15 micron, it will be hard to heal.
Thx 4 the info & the effort you’re doing and appreciate everything P.S That dude at the back laying taking selfies 🤳 with the dog 🐕 is something else 😂😎🤓
That stuff is mad! Clearly has its limitations but so good for little scuffs at shows from clothing and bags etc would just come straight out! The guy on the floor with his dog at the end is the cutest!!
Pretty impressive despite the fact the knife scratches really didnt come out, but not ovey surprised...if you did that to most painted surfaces you would have broken through the clear coat with the knife scratches. The brush scratches stayed more on the surface which makes sense why they would heal with the heat. Good stuff and good video... ppf film has also come a long way the past 5-10 years, as well as wrap film.
this would be an awesome product to put on any vehicle that goes offroad. Usually you comeback with all sorts of brush scrapes from driving through some narrow trails. To be able to just heat them out is amazing!!!! Can this be installed over a regular vinyl wrap also?
Tried this on dozens of scratches on my car wrapped in Avery Dennison satin black and it didn’t do a thing other than a couple of the lightest ones that were as faint as a shadow it slightly lightened it. Then I just sprayed vinyl cleaner on it, wiped em down then grabbed my buffer with polish and that actually made a difference.
Could you wet sand the deep scratches prior to applying heat for better results or is the self healing feature focused more to the top layer of the film? Good video though!
I wanna know how you got a Maserati owner to say “ya take a wire brush and a blade to the hood of my car, I trust you , no problem” lol cause I’d have a fit if you attempted that on my cheapo dodge lol but great product
My 2018 blacked out truck I had wrapped on the front with 3 M PPF has got impact spots and one spot where a pole got in my way and it scraped it off. Can you repair the impact doors from rocks hitting it with a heat gun? And the 3” spot that got rubbed off be patched?

Chris, can you scuff a wrap and install bondo for fender flares on a car, and than wrap over that... this way no damage when removed?... I figured if anyone, you can figure out!
@@CKWraps I grew up in Buffalo and spent a lot of time around Toronto and for some reason, I just happen to recall that I maybe saw you in some ad. I know crazy as hell but, that's the world turns.

The guy laying down in the background with the dog! 😂😂😂
At the end I got distracted by the dogo stuff in the background. :)
Nice job showing how the self heal works. It would be cool if you did another video showing the different brand and how their self heal works.
Buddy with the dog at the end lol awesome
What does the Temp of the Heat Gun have to be?

I was thinking the same thing
That would so be me off to the side petting the dog lol
Did everyone else cringe when Christian took the brush to the ppf?

I wanna start tinting headlights & taillights how much should i charge a pair and what tinting film do you recommend ?
Could you wet sand the deep scratches prior to applying heat for better results or is the self healing feature focused more to the top layer of the film? Good video though!
Thank u for this. I accidentally scratched my PPF and you fixed it for me basically.
What would happen if you leave a wrap on for over 5yrs?
The guy cuddling the dog in back...awwww
Can I take off my headlights to apply the vvivid dry apply headlight tint?
Hey CK. What would you recommend using to get sap off your wrap

Self healing us a must have for ppf.
Tip for you: when your using design knifeless tape use masking tape to keep the line in the same spot as it begon.
Pls make a Video on -How to install & cutting tricks of PPF???
More videos with pupper!
Great video, dog selfies made me laugh. I wonder if buffing would get the knife scratches out

Most likely it's irreparable if the film has been pierced. Only light scratching will normally heal with heat
Ok how do I remove it?

The dog spooning LMAO!
A very interesting video.

Did you have to replace this wrap? You were a bit too aggressive! LOL!😁
that dude with the dog in the background distracted me
Hey man, I know this will sound crazy but, did I ever see you in a BARCARDI BREEZER pic?

Ummmm, nice video, but I got sooo distracted from the guy taking selfies in the back with the dog, that I lost focus on what you were saying!
LOL!
Everything was good until I got distracted by the guy cuddling with the the dog😁
This was *cool!!!* _Like 169_ 🤩🔥🔥🔥
You don't need to do this,, just leave the car outside in the sun it will go away itself.
There is no sun during the winter time in Canada
