Looks great saves a fortune
That's really helpful nice one
Spiffing job man 👍
Nice job again
Great job thanks.
I'll try it out immediately.
Excellent job continuer
the fact of the matter is, no one is staring at your vehicle anyway. Like someone walking by says, "oh my God do you see that scratch catching in the sunlight", as they are 3 inches away looking at it like its a big pimple or something lol. As long as you can do simple repairs like this to truck the eye 4-6 feet away - its all good. These are great tutorials to help us keep out cars looking decent with out spending a lot of money
It’s not about by passers, it’s about the owners of the car who don’t like to have scratches in their car.
@@TheEchelon If you were the only person on the planet, would you care?
@byronbrimstone5163 Yes!. But if I was the only person I wouldnt be driving that's for sure.
Phenomenal, thanks
Thank you for your authentic videos, May you make a video about Ceramic Polishing.
Yes I'll add that to my list
Fantastic result. It’s just to make it presentable. Well done. Where to get similar solvent paints in the US?
Love your tutorials biught yoour kit did rear bumber had some scratches on my Carbon Black VXR from previous owner + front bumber, door panel's, left side mirror and came out real nice.
Only lol forgot one side and dried out a few hours had to wet sand it but came out real nice.
Important reminder the cutting compound as you mentioned be carefull as ir does remove the top clear coat so max 2 times and switch to a lighter polish or wax does it to thanks saved me a lot of money painting car in Sweden is extremely expensive and rhey alsaus want to paint the hole damn thing = $$$$
Nice one mate and thanks for contributing a tip
Quality mate

No problem 👍
great job!
Great videos easy to follow and well presented 👍🏼could you do a video about how to get rid of small amounts of rust around the wheel arches? Thanks

😳 very good results !!! 💪
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for the great video. Straight to the point.
I just braved myself to fix a scratch on my car. I had all the tools but was too scared to try it for one main reason - how much layers taken off when sanding the panel?
Any tip on fixing car plastic emblem? My beemer rear badge got a scratch. It's not too bad but I am just paranoid. Can I apply the same method? What "filler" can be used for plastic? I'm trying to find a cheaper option instead of buying a new one.
Awesome video and results. Is there clear mixed into ur paint when applying 2 the repair area?
This is fantastic information and easy to follow I've got a black jeep cherokee does the black paint have to match it perfectly and what about afterwards do you just polish it over the top?
Brilliant videos best
Glad you like them!
Great video and tip, can stone chips be done using the same method?
impressive techniques, thank you for sharing... What would you do for a black audi with hazy clear coat spots on the hood?
Really good video, many thanx !!! Only a question: how did you prepare the paint, so similar to your car's one?
I like the way you show that you can’t make it any worse so why not go for it 😊
Respect 🙏🏻
MAGIC!!!
Class mate
Thanks for watching
Oooh you've made a clean patch. You'll have to do the rest now.
Hey Mate
Can you do a video on how you would repair peeling clear coat or heavy oxide?
Watched a ton last few days
Beautiful work
Hi can this be done on stone chips?
Awesome technique btw
Great job, nice video. Could have you used UV fine filler with a razor blade to better fill the more deeper areas ? But it involves sanding...
Thanks for the video ! Do you think this will last as there is no varnish on the scratch just paint ?
This is what I've been looking for to clean up my wife's 2012 Honda Odyssey. Thank you!
Great vid - how would you know if the scuffs are too deep for this method ? Or will it work regardless ?
Nice simple video. Does it need to be a special sponge to apply the paint, or would a new clean household sponge do?
great video. any chance of a tutorial on how to buff/polish light scratches out of windscreens and windows? the ones caused by dirt n dust on wiper blades
Done a similar job today on my ford tidys it up no endmixed ford touch up basecoat and clear together and did the same works atreat.
Great stuff
Good video.
Thanks!
That recommendation about not cutting through the clear coat reminds me of that time when I used a touch pen to remove a scratch from my Jimny's door and all looked great. Then I overcut and burned through the clear coat (by hand!) and ended up having to paint the whole door in a body shop. At least the repair looked flawless, after that. It was a lesson well learned 😢
I don't work in the automotive field, rather IT - in some ways, world's apart. I bought a 2002 Toyota Celica for £800, bought a Veilside rep body kit at £400, so I spent half of the car's price I bought it for! Call me an idiot... And I'd agree!
I managed to fit all of the parts, bought a 100L compressor, air lines, paint guns, white base coat and 1K clear. I spent ages prepping the car, learning how to paint over the course of 6-7 months - I only to burn through the clear...
I wanted 2 weeks for any solvents to evaporate, and then ruined it. Luckily it was only one panel and the paint was fresh so it's not like the paint colour had enough time to degrade and fade out!
I did it in white the first time because it hides imperfections really well! I wanna have another go but this time, I'd be doing it on an E92 M3. It already kills my wallet so I need to recoup the costs of any paintwork needed. At least, that's what I tell myself when I'm umming and ahhhhing about buying nardo grey for it.
Anyway I've waffled on enogih. I leaned when painting my own car, that I'd just rather someone else did it because it's not my problem if they fuck it up 😂😂
Nice vid, do you need to add clear coat on that afterwards?
Put paint on with finger and polished all worked great, but when I did a part at bottom of door it was not polishing the line I was working on and rubbed the lower edge and worn off more than it should. So had to use spray matching paint to cover it. Whole car now looks mint
Nice one and good save
Really enjoying these videos. could you explain why won't water-based paint work? can't seem to find solvent-based paint for my car.
