Another great video! I understand this is your 'job' now and need to appeal to the largest audience you can, but I say fish for what you want to fish for. It comes through in the videos when you are having a good time, and that makes for good times for us watching the videos!
Never been carp fishing in my life, but I have been catfishing my entire life and can’t see where someone could like one without liking the other. Fishing is fishing and if you’re catching you should be enjoying it no matter the species!
Not going to lie. I was hoping that Cat was a channel cat. It always makes my day when you catch a channel cat! I know I am in for some fire commentary!
Thank you again for continuing to do these shoreline series fishing adventures! There’s never a dull moment, and whether it be carp, catfish, striped bass, or whatever is available to catch, you’re always enjoying the moment to its fullest!
I love your carp videos. Heck, I love all your videos. It's fun to see you all excited even over a big ole Bluegill. It's so much fun catching fish..any type of fish or just getting out and getting the line wet. It's good for the soul. Stay safe Justin. Fish On!!
Thanks for this fish filled episode....sets me back many years as my first catch was a big carp and that got hooked (pun intended). I even fished off the fantail of a Navy destroyer on patrol off coast of Vietnam in the sixties. The skipper would let us fish on Sunday's and we would give our catches to the stewards in the officer mess and they loved it. Still a fisherman to this day.....
Love the carp fishing! I have learned to tie my own hair rigs - pretty easy and plenty of UA-cam tutorials to point you in the right direction. There are also some pack bait holders that look like springs. Much cheaper and even after catching 20 pounders they hold up well. The pack bait you use is my favorite as well. Thanks for all of your videos
Another great video Justin! Let me say this if you really love fishing as you and I do it don't matter what kind of fish we're catching as long as that rod is going down! Keep up the great work brother and keep em coming! I always enjoy your content. 👍🏻
Im not a carp fisherman, but Man ole man,!! I would love to find them spawning like this and your other video. I can clearly see why you like fishing for them. That would be a blast to catch all day long! Thanks for sharing Justin
The very first carp I caught was an accident at a local city pond. Using an ultralight rig, was using a small hook and some canned corn to try and catch some stocked trout. It was an epic battle with a 22" carp on 2lb. mono. I was so tired after fighting the fish, I had to sit down. A memory I'll NEVER forget!
Glad to see you gaining confidence in the hair rig/fake corn. I had no doubt you would- I went through the same exact process. Really cool of you to share, it's great to see someone else discover how fun the golden bonefish are to target. The bad thing is that I only want to carp fish anymore, it's ruined me for other kinds. They're genuinely damn good smoked too, high in oleic acid (healthy fat) and absolutely delicious and they take the smoke taste really well. The meat is almost like pork or something... they are truly excellent smoked. Keep em coming man! Loving it.
1 big container of Old Fashion oats 2 cans cream corn 1 packet Strawberry Jello Mix in Strawberry Fanta or Sunkist pop to get the consistency you want last longer on the method leads and in water tons of scent and flavor
Nice video! Guess we’ll get rigged for carp and hit norris? I’m watching this video, and Myra tells me that you’re fishing with Elias? That’s really cool! I hope you put him on some biguns, and I look forward to the video!
You are getting a lot of action on your carp sessions with some nice fish . Some of these fish have beautifull colors , and all look in good condition . Your spot also looks amazing and secluded , well done , keep it up !
grandma used to cook up those karp when i was younger. she would pressure cook them cause there are so many bones. cant remember if they were any good to eat, but what a fight they put on. great fun anyway. corn is the trick for sure. great video sir!!!!!!
Carp are like bluegill they are way under rated and unappreciated glad to see you enjoying it and I love the content the key to bluegill is just exactly what you teach all the time ultra light gear and their a blast
Love watching the carp fishing videos. I’m just waiting on my order for my bait feeders to arrive from Big Carp Tackle. Thank you for giving me their information.
👋BBB!! As always, it is quite wonderful to find you here. I can always count on you for leaving such kind and thoughtful comments for Justin. I can't wait for you to use your new feeders and report back how good they are! Have a beautifully blessed and safe week ahead my kind Sir.🤗🙏😇
Those are the most underrated fish in the Pond. Justin why don't you start a Carp fishing monthly tournament series. Great video as always Brother. Thanks for taking me along.
Next time you go carp fishing you should probably live stream it to make it easier on ya. But I'm loving it man I just started carp fishing last year and loving it.
Man I sure love these Carp videos and you have been killin em lately. But I am a longtime watcher and watch everything you do. That bonus fish was hilarious, he was shy..haha. good stuff man.
Good ol' Justin with "KAYAK CARP"!🤭 Carp #1 said he was tired of his 15-seconds-of-fame and Peace-Out!✌️🤣 I was like Holy Heck when you caught that Blue! And on Carp feed no less. Pretty neat!😃👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
To start off with I really enjoy you videos and have learned a lot about big lake fishing. I’m from Nebraska and we fish for catfish ( I just wish I could catch me a Golly Whopper some time ) and carp. And I have a blast with either on the end of my line. Keep posting the great videos.
Heck yeah nothing like a bonus fish lol. Really have been enjoying these kind of fishing videos I really like how you are mixing it up. Thanks and appreciate all you do for us keep it up. Well till next's trip GodBless and Tight Lines.
Drove from Dandridge to Pigeon Forge today. I saw some mighty fishy looking places like where you are along the way. I actually wondered if people fished for carp there. I saw one guy in a small boat right up on the bank sort of like you are there. Thanks so much for the great videos.
I cut my teeth on Carp, my old man used to love going Carp fishing, we had all kinds of places where we could go and catch them. And they fight almost as hard as a Flathead, especially if you catch Carp 20 lbs and bigger, woo-ee they can pull like a mule!
there are an avid number of folks that target carp in the US; use to fish for carp in Beargrass Creek in Louisville; that is until they channelized the creek in the mid-60s
Another Great carp video surprise catch of that catfish I don't think I have ever caught a small carp it always seems that they are always big when you catch them
I hope you do put out a lot of content and I hope to be watching some of your videos while I’m out on my kayak catching some big blues my self, maybe even join a terminate or two if I have any luck out there where I’m able to fish, we’ll see in the next few following weeks on if my kayak can even handle cat fishing
Luke would be proud :) Got to admit, carp are actually a good fight compared to catfish. 20lb common carp pulled like ten times more than a 50lb blue cat.
I'll let Kayak Catfish (or Catfish and Carp) cover the basics, but for future reference I have learned some things about this mixture (it's what I use as well): 1, it's best made ~30 minutes to an hour before you use it. The panko needs time to soak in the corn juice. It's not packable at all within the first 15-30 minutes. 2, be careful when you drain the corn. It needs to be pretty much fully drained. Too wet and the consistency isn't right. If it's too dry (hard to do) you can add a little bit of lake water. Too wet and it's really hard to get back to good. 3, I like to mix the panko and jello first, then the corn. Easier to mix consistently. And 4, do not overmix! I learned this the other month when I was fishing with my brother. His pack bait was much better, fluffier and easier to pack, whereas mine was hard and not ideal. The reason is I overmixed it. Just need to mix it together quick and consistent and let it rest. That's about it. Enjoy! This kind of fishing is FUN. Love to see the enthusiasm, I can definitely relate lol
Try using just corn one time usually sweet corn or canned corn or some kind I have to just put it on the hook flip some out there with her and they will come to that area
It's good you found a weekend spot to fish without the aggravation of bass boaters. Oh it so bad you can't catch any bugle mouth bass smaller than 10lbs.😭😭😭😁😁😁
@@KayakCatfish I catch loads of Buffalos on my area. Texas.. and they normally like to hang out on lil deeper water u been catching carp in really shallow waters. If u use the same method the u use to locate big cats around area between 10 to 15 feet deep u might can catch a real nice buff. If u interested on doing that. Good luck

A fish is a fish to me. I love all your videos. I am retired and every morning I get up and check to see if you have posted a new video.
Another good carp video, Hope we get to see you catch a mirror carp in your local waters, it looks like they must be pretty rare in your area.
I enjoy carp fishing and enjoy watching you catch them. My biggest carp on rod and reel weighed 27 lbs
I feel your excitement through my tv that's a dang good time, the tug is the drug. Good job 👍
Justin if you are enjoying carp fishing , try fishing for grass carp , a bit harder to catch but they are much bigger carp , up to and above 40in
Thanks Justin. I'm just one voice in the crowd, but no complaints from me about carp fishing. I say, fish for what you're in the mood for. Thanks!

Great to watch you. Now that you’ve had some practice with these. Time to find some 20-30 pounders.

Absolutely nothing wrong with hooking and catching Carp, been doing it for years
I LOVE busy fishing!!!! 🤩
I know your love for channel cats!!! Just wanted to see if you seen the NYS record was just broken again. 35.76 pounds for a Channel cat.
When I was a kid if fished for carp all the time in the lake and rivers in Indiana.
Thanks for another one justin give this old disabled guy something to watch
The carp man lol hell all I can say is why the hell not it's fun and if not eating the fish fun fishing is the name of the game
Here’s to catching more blues even will crap fishing! 😂😂
Hey man I know catfish and carp has a video on it, but could include your process of putting together that pack bait?? That'd be awesome!
I’ll try to do that in the next carp video
@@KayakCatfish killer! Loving the carp videos bro, they are definitely an under appreciated and one hell of a fightin fish! They're like torpedoes 🚀

That's about it. Enjoy! This kind of fishing is FUN. Love to see the enthusiasm, I can definitely relate lol
Have you ever used carp for bait? Seems like it would work good, and 1 fish would be a lot of bait.
Be fun to see u do some bow fishing for carp sometime
Good times man! Cant wait till you hit a big buffalo so you can give me some instruction! Lol
I love you carp rods
The benefit I've found with placing the hook in the bait is when you're fishing around snags/weeds. Otherwise I'll also leave them out
you are best fisherman
You put out great content!
bonus fish!! love it!!
Thanks Michael!
Look like a world of fun
Personally I don't care if it is carp or catfish I love all your videos
Try using just corn one time usually sweet corn or canned corn or some kind I have to just put it on the hook flip some out there with her and they will come to that area
I have videos on my channel using corn exclusively
They live in the wild between 15-20 years. In captivity, double that!
we love bonus fish haha
