What we are witnessing is the most savage, primal and brutal aspects of Robert McCall's dark side/personality and training! He is an extremely highly skilled and well trained killer! I have to agree with Steven when Nikki said that Vikings are better I was no! I've seen them attack a village rape every woman and female child and then murder everyone else! It's very disturbing to actually see some of the things human beings did to each other in the past!!!
Hi y’all! I love watching your reactions, especially about anything that has to do with GOT. I was wondering though if you have ever seen Outlander? It’s really good and it has that fantasy element that GOT and TWD have. So I’m really curious about how you would react to it. Please give it shot.
First saw this a few weeks ago, and all I had to say was that Denzel really gave an immensely powerful and beautiful sendoff to this character, and because this was the third and final installment of the franchise, the filmmakers brought a different taste to the table, but showed that age caught up to Robert but he is now at peace with his life.
@dziesekhrietuokire5023 yes. At least with Denzel. He said he's not coming back mainly because of his age. But the director and writer is considering a prequel surg either Denzel son or Michael b jordan playing young Robert McCall
I honestly think this is my favorite of the three. It feels distinctly humbler and quieter than the first two, which were more your typical retired spy story (albeit super well done). But this one puts all the focus on Robert just finding a new place in life to relax and retire and be happy, and it's not even a struggle for him to protect it. He just wipes the floor clean and kicks his feet up.
If I am not mistaken, the black book was her mother’s book. He got it in movie 2 when he was using the mom’s notes to follow the leads she noted about the case she was investigating when she died. He held on to it and gave it to the daughter at the end of this movie.
Who would’ve thought that Denzel Washington & Dakota Fanning would reunite years later after Man On Fire? I really loved this film from start to finish Denzel didn’t disappoint at all. And this didn’t occur to me until now, that this is his first Equalizer trilogy. Loved y’all’s reaction
Denzel Washington actually requested that Dakota Fanning be the central role on the other side for the CIA. He loved working with her as a child and she had grown so much in her acting career that he thought she could pull it off mama just an FYI❤😂😂
When you "didn't expect that" at the beginning -- Director Fuqua smartly shows you Robert's deathwish face, a man lost in a series of assassination jobs merging into one soulless reality. He's ready to end the silent suffering with a bullet. Surprisingly to him, the seaside charm and honest folk rehabilitate his body as well as his soul.
Especially his soul. That line about, "because of these people, I'm starting to understand peace. You can't take that from me," was him saying so out loud in as few words as possible.
@@4Kandlez Or the harbors of San Francisco bay, the fish markets and thousands of other immigrants letting them know this is a place of coming together. A melting pot of culture, it used to be better, 40 years ago-ish.
It's been a while since I've gone multiple times to the theater to rewatch a movie. This movie did it for me. It was sooooooo much of a fun slow burner. The acting, the setting, the story, the heart, the opening scene or kills brutality in general and even the townspeople who we as the audience were allowed to get to know and therefore understand McCalls motivations. I think everyone who saw this movie wanted to go to Italy. It was a great send off to a character we all love. Great reaction as always guys.
When people compare this franchise to the John Wick, one it's obvious they are not paying attention to the differences. It's so much more than action sequences.
Both are amazing and the best franchises but we can never compare both are different both have different vibes never the same and both are the greatest actors of their eras to ever live
There's a reason Denzel has never done a sequel before Equalizer, and now he's given us 3 absolute MASTERPIECES. I love John Wick movies but these add so much emotion to them. And he's never fighting for himself but others.

Masterpiece? This one was TERRIBLY predictable and boring.
I am pretty sure the knife he dangled in front of the big bad guy after staging the drug overdose was from Equalizer 2 when he carved up the one guy at the end. And the twist at the end, Dakota Fannings character being Susan’s daughter, chefs kiss. Perfect.
I soooooo enjoyed watching live with you guys. I’m so glad you enjoyed and Nikki gave what she was supposed to regarding emotions. This movie was epic and I couldn’t have been prouder to see twice in theaters and purchase prior to dvd release. EQ3 was everything!
Watched EQ3 on Prime today and came here directly after. When the big reveal came I had the same reaction as Nikki and my eyes started leaking. Awesome reaction to the perfect send-off movie for this great character!
You will notice that all of the big fighting was either by gun or off screen. Denzel is 72 so he cant do the same amount of crazy fighting as he did in the last 2 movies.
I saw this one twice, Dolby Cinema & IMAX at AMC. Seeing how far McCall has come as this force of nature is quite the experience. Having him near death and defeat was hard to look at. I really thought he was gone for good. He reveals more of his invulnerablity as he gets to know the people of this Italy province. Seeing the best of them and the worse of them. Of course, McCall truly lives up to his name by dealing out the most major punishment to these mafia goons and their boss getting it the worse is well-deserved. Onscreen with Dakota Fanning after 20 years since Man on Fire was some great conversational scenes and dialogue. The reveals of McCall's reason for being overseas and Fanning's agent character made me feel so good. That everything happens for a reason, no mistakes or consequences. A worthy finale indeed. Glad to have been along for it. Justice perfectly balanced as it should be.
Thanks for getting to this movie so quickly. It's been a few years since ive gone to a movie theatre, but I honored this movie by making sure to go to the first viewing at the closest theatre with a friend that normally doesnt like action movies... this action movie is a cut above what you normally find in the genre.
I like how he gets up close and personal looking into the eyes of the top dogs as the lifeforce leaves their bodies, that's a major dominance thing, chilling.
I think I'm one of the first 5 people to watch this. Clicked on the video and it said posted 50 seconds ago lmao. Love the contents guys. One of my favourite reaction channels on yt :)
FYI - Nikki, there was, in fact, an interview with Dakota and Denzel, and you guys should react to it also. it was cool to see how they felt working with each other after so many years.
I easily enjoyed this movie over the less plausible marathon action sequences that are John Wick 4. They feel more earned and impactful here. Or it could be because I fell in love with the location and portrayal of community. Or because John mostly fights for himself whereas Robert fights for the sake of others. Great reaction thanks guys.
@NikkiStevenReact 13:42 I said the same thing when I realised it was Dakota .. And for a bit of extra trivia at 25:55 the line he uses about "the way you pronounce your M's is a little dry" was Dakota's line in "Man On Fire" when she was teaching him Spanish.
this 3rd installment is definitely the most refined movie of the 3 - i joke that it's 'John Wick meets Anthony Bourdain' because they really feature the location as a character in the movie - so glad i watched it in the theather. i loved your reaction and agreed with your conclusions after the movie. great job!
Great Reaction!!! As a side note, Nikki made reference to the Twilight movie. Do you guys know Dakota Fanning who plays Emma in this movie was also the actress who played Jane the Voltaire blonde headed vampire cutie?
The funniest part about this movie is when the woman who runs the cafe tells him that she wants to show him the local food and in the next scene she takes him to some guy who sells kebabs on the street.
I believe the ending scene where he gives Collins her mother's little black book is an easter egg to Man on Fire. Remember in Man on Fire he uses Peta's diary to write notes in throughout the film after he thought she was dead. And at the end when they reunite on that highway overpass he gives her the diary back. So in a way, he does the same here, he uses Susan's notebook after she dies, and then at the end gives it to Dakota Fanning.
😂😮😊 Wow! This is the first time a movie review made me laugh and cry. The scene with the old man and his sister was so touching. Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself said in an interview in Italy "I'd rather do the trench run in my X-Wing 4 more times rather than drive in Rome." And he's right.
There are few but some good female and male actresses that started from being a child, Drew Barrymore is one she started as a child and grew up into the movies and so is this one with Denzel and Dakota. It’s good to see them together again though. Thanks for sharing and enjoy.🎉😂😊
I’m so glad you guys didn’t see spoilers 😂 Great reaction again. Ever since you’ve man on fire video. I love to think Cressy didn’t die like a Batman ending 🤙🏽
From the Internet: "As of May 2024, it's unlikely that The Equalizer 4 will be released because Denzel Washington said at Cinemacon in 2023 that it would be the end of the series. The third movie ended with McCall retiring to Italy after uprooting the mafia, and it doesn't seem like anyone needs his help anymore."
My theory has always been that Creasy didnt actually die... he finished off thr bad guys then changed his name... Remember Teddy in Equalizer 1 knew that all of McCall's history was fabricated. And Creasy was asking Walken's character if they'll ever be forgiven of the things they'd done. And McCall used to work for the CIA and faked his death. And Creasy and McCall go after the bad guys with the same inventiveness and single-mindedness. I'm telling you, theyre the same person. And now Susan's daughter is played by Dakota Fanning? There's plenty of time for Pita's mom to have changed her name, joined the CIA and remarried.... Just saying... I know i know... she should have recognized him... but so should have Susan's daughter, right?
it's a perfect ending for him i'm glad he still alive i was really worried that they would kill him off because his "work" his done but no he just in peace and i'm glad he finally find it the death are brutal in this one i loved it 😂
This movie is great. What a fantastic end to a fantastic trilogy trilogy, one of the best trilogies out there. So happy that Robert McCall gets his happy ending.
The guy on the toilet being shot through the door: you hear a noise, which I presume is cocking of the gun which the assault team must have heard. You actually see a firearm in hand on his lap when they kick open the door.
Didn't mind the slowness and the love and humility of the small town. The very few action scenes were just enough. BUT, the best part was probably the last few minutes. Had more emotion for the pensioner than I did anyone else in the movie.
After watching the film I immediately came onto your page to see if yall did a reaction and just like Robert said "Timing" it was a dope film. Love yall page all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
THE LIGHTING! I watched this in HDR on an OLED TV and OH. MY. GOD. The harsh, purposely over/underexposed lighting and the way the shadows were done in this movie made it much more of a horror movie than anything else. And the score matched it perfectly.
These James-Bond beginnings are a worthy tribute to the construction of these EQ stories. Often, James-Bond beginnings don't link to the rest of the story - they end one tale, and the movie deals with something else (such as Robert Uber-Driver and the Cocaine Yuppies. But here, I was thinking this criminals were all linked to the opening scene (at least thru money) but seeing the "return something" finale was wonderful.
Historically, rocky mountain fortresses 'fell' by siege when water ran out. Well-digging on mountains is pretty darned difficult - often spelled "impossible".
One of these years, someone's going to tell you about CINEMA PARADISO and the "projecting movies on town walls" will take on a wonderful and higher meaning, and fireworks over town squares will be something audiences have dreamed of for decades now.

Pro tip...when he got the part for Man on Fire, he told his wife. She said, who's ur costars? He named them and Dakota. His wife said, Dakota? U better bring ur A game! And I almost forgot.... Safehouse!😮😮😮
Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself said in an interview in Italy "I'd rather do the trench run in my X-Wing 4 more times rather than drive in Rome." And he's right.
I was shocked as you guys In the end when I saw the photograph...she is the daughter of his best friend...😍😍😍🧿🧿🧿
There are few but some good female and male actresses that started from being a child, Drew Barrymore is one she started as a child and grew up into the movies and so is this one with Denzel and Dakota. It’s good to see them together again though. Thanks for sharing and enjoy.🎉😂😊
He was training her while she was doing her job!! Brilliant!!
At the end scene killing the mob boss "he needs some crocs!" Haha
I’m so glad you guys didn’t see spoilers 😂 Great reaction again. Ever since you’ve man on fire video. I love to think Cressy didn’t die like a Batman ending 🤙🏽
From the Internet: "As of May 2024, it's unlikely that The Equalizer 4 will be released because Denzel Washington said at Cinemacon in 2023 that it would be the end of the series. The third movie ended with McCall retiring to Italy after uprooting the mafia, and it doesn't seem like anyone needs his help anymore."
Watched y'all 4 times. Great movie and I liked the company
"Is it worse when I explain it?" Yes.😂❤
Live the Enzo Amore reference...lol great reaction!
Thank you for the reaction... best reaction.
This is one of the few great THREE
Omg you made me laugh so much and needed, In the Ass said at the same time and when you go potty 😂😂 This film is Amazing
41:42 He’s already there. HES ALREADY THERE. They didn’t even have the night to think on it. My god this is dope.
The ought to do a crossover flick where John Wick gets in trouble and calls Robert McCall for backup! hehe What a tag team! hehe
@@billholder1330 That would be epic!!
Aren't sequels supposed to get worse as they go along? This is the best one yet. Amazing.
those guitar shrieks where insane when at the cinema.....
it's a perfect ending for him i'm glad he still alive i was really worried that they would kill him off because his "work" his done but no he just in peace and i'm glad he finally find it
the death are brutal in this one i loved it 😂
She is very close with his daughter in real life. They went to NYU together.
Oh, I was waiting for this reaction! And I want to see an interview with Dakota and Denzel discussing this reunion!
Just an FYI, can you imagine if John Wick and the equalizer got together and teamed up boy that would be something else😮🎉😂
Thank you guys...
This movie is great. What a fantastic end to a fantastic trilogy trilogy, one of the best trilogies out there. So happy that Robert McCall gets his happy ending.
Sorry, but I want more!
5:32 I would love to know how many people had the same reaction AND said the same thing because I did and I was laughing about it for awhile LOL
Antoine Fuqua Is A Awesome Director ! I RECOMMEND The ToWatch His Other Films!
The guy on the toilet being shot through the door: you hear a noise, which I presume is cocking of the gun which the assault team must have heard. You actually see a firearm in hand on his lap when they kick open the door.
3 is the best of the series hands down.
Didn't mind the slowness and the love and humility of the small town. The very few action scenes were just enough. BUT, the best part was probably the last few minutes. Had more emotion for the pensioner than I did anyone else in the movie.
Miss Fanning is now 29 years old :D
After watching the film I immediately came onto your page to see if yall did a reaction and just like Robert said "Timing" it was a dope film.
Love yall page all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
I am glad that the Ah-Ha! revelation kinda cements Robert McCall 4, therefore. He's GOT to come back and use this now-continuing connection.
They say that the town he is recovering in is Altamonte which is in Italy, but this is not there. It's actually the Amalfi Coast.
