  • Here is my disclaimer....I am NOT a nutritionist, nor do I care who eats what or what the nutritional value is of specific food.
My intention for this video is to bring awareness to the fact that what we put into our body, food and drink, does impact our connection with our intuition. My intention is not to tell you what is healthy and what isn't.
Eat and drink what you will, but if you're struggling to connect with those powerful intuitive insights, then you might want to take a look at your diet. It could or could not be a contributing factor.

It's not even 11am here in Australia and I'm already on my third coffee and I love dairy which may explain my brain fog😮

    • @trinabrettnell
      @trinabrettnell  Місяць тому

Well depends.....if you have issues with dairy. Not everyone does or is affected by it. Might be something to consider if you struggle with brain fog, cut back on dairy and see if it gets better, it may or may not, depends on your body.

I can relate. Am vegan, can only drink one coffee a day (or else I levitate, haha), gluten/lactose-intolerant. Have always been supersensitive to western medicine (antibiotics, painkillers etc) so I stay away as much as possible, but homeopathy works really well for me, amazingly even. I have a BIG sweet tooth, so that's difficult. I have a binge once a week, I then go hard on the sugar and my body reacts accordingly with rosecea-flairs (post meno) and inflammation in different funny forms, so I plan to reduce to this once a month... Bread is addictive for me, if I smell bread/gluten my body craves it for days on end. My dream is to be able to live on French sourdougbread, butter and cheese 4Lyfe, hahaha, but cannot. I practice close to intuitive eating, intermediate fasting, and then the weekly sugar kick. Getting there....

Sugar is so hard to kick 😪. For about 10 to 12 years I did good, ate very very little sugar. Then I started up again.....and now I'm trying to quit. But I crave it all the time. I struggle with rosacea too and seems to get worse every year

@@trinabrettnell If you haven't tried it yet, my best tips for rosacea is Borage seed oil. I have tried it "all", but I came upon this little oil by "chance"/my intuition, and it is a gem

Caffeine drains my batteries really fast; it burns through in about an hour and leaves me feeling sleepy 😴😂
Painkillers that aren't strong enough to not be allowed outside of the hospital might as well be charcoal pills.😅

Interesting that caffeine works the opposite for you.
Lol pain killers will knock me out for days I suspect lol

The foods that you said to avoid my body is intolerant of them. They don't go well with me. I am not a fan of junk food and processed food as well.

That's so interesting that your body doesn't want them. Your very lucky. I love sugar.....very much. And caffeine ☹️. But processed foods are not my favorite, I prefer the good old fashion home cooked from scratch.

@@trinabrettnell Thank you. I count this as a blessing✨ I have heard dates and honey are good alternatives for those who have a sweet tooth. You can try some dates specially the Ajwah dates are the best. Fard dates are quite sweet. You will like them. I also prefer fruits instead of junk food. I feel junk food makes me irritating. I really feel guilty after after eating it, so try to eat as clean as possible.

I love honey, I eat a lot of it. I try to have a taste of honey when I'm craving sweets. I actually have a hive....which is empty, there has been a bee shortage the past few years so I haven't been able to purchase bees for my hive, but one day I will and I will start my journey as a bee keeper 🥰
Thank you for the idea of dates, I never thought of them, they are also higher in iron I believe. I remember reading somewhere that a date is really healthy.

@@trinabrettnell Honey is a blessed food. It's our prophet Muhammad (PBUH)'s one of the favourite food. Quran says it's a cure for all mankind. There's whole chapter named after honey bees in Quran , Surah An Nahl.
Surat an-Nahl 68-69: “And your Lord inspired the bee: Set up hives in the mountains, and in the trees, and in what they construct”. “Then eat of all the fruits (and flowers), and go along the pathways of your Lord (for the making of honey), with precision.
Dates are our prophet's fav food too. You can say they are one of the superfoods and quite beneficial for the body. It's sunnah to eat dates with watermelon or cucumber.

I have been reading recently about intuitive eating. It seems like an interesting concept , and I feel like it really helps with intuition . Please, tell me if you know more about this topic, I would really be interested to learn more about how it works .

I love all your videos but this one is disappointing. Red meat is one of the healthiest foods on the planet. Saturated fats and cholesterol are important and necessary for many things including making nerve fibers, cellular walls, cell membranes, controlling inflammatory reactions, hormone production, digestion, immune function, brain function (especially learning and memory), satiety and metabolism, endotoxin protection. It is extremely nutrient rich. It contains Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) which is associated with potential health benefits such as reduced body fat and improved immune function. It's a natural source of creatine which plays an important role in brain health and function.
The government's nutritional guidelines are created by industry lobbyists on the Food and Drug Administration. The industries profit from the belief that saturated fats and cholesterol are bad, since it gives them permission to increase the marketing of processed foods that are supposed to be low-fat, but full of sugars and/or seed oils which are themselves toxic. The low-fat, high sugar and starch, low animal foods agenda has also been promoted by vegetarian and vegan lobbyists.

Well if you like red meat then continue to eat it....I'm not a nutritionist, I just know what impacts intuition and red meat impacts it. But if it doesn't for you then eat it. My intention wasn't to share nutritional facts about food, it was bringing awareness to how food can impact our connection with Intuition.
Myself, I am not a red meat fan but I will never pass up a cheese burger 😋 😅. With that being said I love coffee and continue to drink it, however when I need to really tap into the creative side of my Intuition then I do lay off the caffeine...at least a little.
But the point wasn't to bash food, it was to share the fact that food does impact brain function which in turn impacts out intuitive connection.
