The soundtrack to this game is incredible. Coupled with the fact that it's more book-based and the gameplay is just super solid, this is one SNES gem I miss.

The publisher, Ocean, was also notorious for turning movie tie in games into average action platform games. The game turned out, in my opinion, to be a decent little game. Perhaps nothing special in the genre, but fun enough for people who liked the Jurassic Park movie and these kind of games.

I take back the part about hating this game. I've been playing the last couple weeks and I've gotten pretty good at it. I'm stuck at the level at the end where you disarm the bombs. I didn't know you could fight the triceratops.

@@silverwings21 If you want it to stay 4:3 and upscale to HD, use 960x720. That way it won't distort the screen proportions. That's how I handle all of my 4:3 stuff, at least.
It looks pretty fun at first, but the level design looks pretty bad after awhile. The levels are way too flat and not a lot really happens in them. Very repetitive environments. From what I've seen; it gets a 5/10 from me; it could've been way cooler if it was more like Contra.
i remember renting this game from blockbusters when i was a loli. and as pathetic as this sounds, i could not get thru a single stage. like the lava stage didnt exist, the trex chase no matter how many times i shot the dino it never stopped coming forward. i think my copy i got must have been glitched out or something. i wasnt a huge gaming pro but i wasnt THAT bad edit: also in the raptor attack stage, that vine to climb over WAS NOT THERE. it was just the pit and i was like so confused.
If they really wanted an action vehicle for Chris Pratt, this game should’ve been their formatting for an adaptation. Just take this story and do something with it. Too late I guess.
