What about older babies who are 12 mo? Is it too late for them after almost a year of bottlefeeding?

My son had a tongue tie and buccals releaaed. The buccals were so tight that his lip no matter manually flanging his top lip or not, his lip would curl back. We are working on his recovery now but he struggles to stay latched onto my left side. Prior to his surgery I would put him to the breast a few times a day, (pretty much exclusively pumped) but he keeps letting go(has been like that since day one)

Wondering about breastfeeding positions while a nippleshield is on..specifically the haakaa. It’s long like a bottle and she gags; shes use to her feeding flat pillow in the paced bottle feeding position…we do mouth and floor exercises as advised by the IBCLC. Thank you!

    Hi, very informative video.
The problems I am facing are that right from the beginning my baby had a latch issue, she used to nibble on one of my breasts but gradually after watching numerous latching videos I got that going for her, unfortunately when she’s did being to latch ( shallow) my supply tanked so I had to bottle feed her few feeds and now she has a bottle preference, latches well to the bottle and takes nipple only when she’s sleepy. Not to mention when she does she’s fo r often how to latch onto me . She’s 2m old . Pl help

The same problem I’m facing now my baby girl is about 3 months what to do 😢?

@@saifalqaydi9083 she wouldn’t latch properly I tried a lot, I would cry a lot nothing worked for me. But I wanted her to have breast milk more than top feed, so I resorted to pumping and feeding from the bottle. It drained me, continued for UPTO 8m of age, then alternated between food and breast ( as much as she would suck I’d let her ) but I had to give up pumping since I began working again. Started cow milk only after 1yr of age. Till then breast and food, top if I am away. See what suits you best. Worry less. Take care.

Hiya. Thank you so much for this video. Watching from London in the UK. My baby is 10 weeks old and has been mostly bottle fed since birth. We were using nipple shields for a while and we've also had her tongue tie cut around 4 weeks.
I've been trying to get back to breastfeeding since but it's clear baby has a bottle preference. I do the "hamburger" technique with my breast which sometimes works and keeps baby interested. This week we'll be trying some cranial osteopathy. Do you have any other recommendations? Many thanks, Lia

Hi my baby stopped breastfeeding. She is 6 months and has just started being introduced to solids. She refuses to take the breast. When i bring her to it even if she is hungry, she just turns her head away and begins to cry n fuss. What can i do?

Hi. My baby is 7 months now. Refuses the nipple all together. And screams if I try. Is it impossible to get him to latch. I even tried nipple shields.

Hi! What if baby does have a tongue tie? Do you recommend getting this corrected or just doing exercises to help baby latch properly?
    Thank you so much

Hi, this video is really great. Can you please help me! I have a 3 month old that was a preemie and was in the NICU for almost a month, during that time he was feeding from an NG tube and a bottle as well as breastfeeding here and there. Now he's almost 4 months and prefers the bottle and always cries and refuses the breast I have searched and tried everything seen specialists but nothing is helping. I really want to breastfeed my son, I know he can do it he's done it several times before but I would love if he could feed easily without fussing and crying especially when I have to feed him at night or when we go out it'll really ease my mind if I don't have to look for where to warm his milk or get up at night when he's already crying to make a bottle. Please what should I do.
