I did not roll the best, that's fair! And if you're talking about the last fight of the game, I don't think I bothered because it wouldn't have killed and then blocked me from getting to it the following turn.
@@franciscopina2899 I don't even think its there fault GW keep errataing the rules and every inch counts. On an unrelated note i personally messed up my models during creation which them stick out more then they should, (cant fix it) everyone seems to be happy to immediatly shoot it cause its sticking out when it was obviously not the intention but immediatly call judge when i shoot back :/
Oh my! Usually that train of thought works best for a closer knit gaming group or against a regular opponent Though, to pack up and leave seems a bit much 😂
@@iaindebono8645My personal opinion is that a lot of tournament players are just like this. I try to measure everything as if from the base or hull, personally, but the group I play with and I tend to actually have fun instead of smack each other as hard as possible.
3 C'tan and 3 squads of Wraiths with Technomancer is basically the foundation of one of the best list in the whole meta right now. Even with just the C'tans, it might be a bit too much for a friendly game, unless the other player also brings a fairly meta army.
How come we don't see so many Necron vehicles anymore? I miss reports with the big Monoliths and war machines, even if they're not optimal. Love the content, but always just seems to be infantry and destroyers these days (+1 for the C'tan though!) and I love those massive blocky vehicles!.
The Necron player here! Personally, I still don't have some of those big war engines besides a Doomsday ark and a Doomscythe atm. The doomscythe is not consistently deadly enough to warrant its price point compared to some other similarly priced big guns, and I had brought the DDA in my scions battle, so I wanted to add some variety. I do know the monolith is fairly underwhelming for its price point and surprising lack of invuln save on it, so it feels bad when the enemy guns can, with relative ease if they focus on it, bring it down turn one.
I'm just such a big fan of Infantry builds for Necrons! It's always been my favourite way to play them, sometimes I pop a Monolith down, it was the plan for my next Battle Report. I'll try out a MOSTLY Vehicle build after that most likely!
@@GriffyGood That's fair, still a great game, I think I am just a fan of those original aesthetics of blocks of infantry marching in front of those big war machines. It's what got me into Necrons originally, the OG Monolith was pretty much my first model!
When it says in a datasheet that an aircraft model can come on in Reserves in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd battle round, does this mean if it leaves the table it can never come back in the 4th and 5th round?
Battleline daemons regenerate models if they pass battle shock. But only if they're in the the shadow of chaos. The brimestones (the ones the blues split into) can use a rule to explode on a 4+. But only if there're no pink horrors left in the unit.
1500 keeps the games a little faster, and it's a nice challenge to not be tempted into the 2000 pt "meta" builds. 2k is still cuz more toys to play, but 1500 is a great way to play too imo
What GriffyGood said! It's a pretty good way of showing off different ways for the armies to play as opposed to seeing the similar builds everyone sees while they play. It does make the game quicker as well, but not by too much, gives us a bit of extra wiggle room to hangout with the guests before it's go time!
Ewwww Undivided Daemons. Honestly that draw three and pick two should probably just be a base rule to limit the RNG luck of secondaries. Tables like this really seem to demand a dice box with so many grooves and dips.
Jeez, Necron player rolled horribly. I’d chuck those dice!!😢
Also forgot the Nightbringer’s drain life ability when fighting the lord of change.

Told that line where rules are just guidelines at someone he just packed his things and left.
Rules lawyers.
Rules lawyers everywhere.

Impressive tabletop fabrication. Overall appearance A+
Cheers
Glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to come up with.
Would love to see a C'tan list with the big three. Sounds daft but it would be hilarious to see.

Is kind of funny how the slaanesh daemons blends in better with the horrors than the lord of change.
On one side the lava mattering could be fun, on the other both sides just striding through the lava is really cool.

@@mikemcnair3494 Definitely wanting to run a double dda and double ghost ark list!
Doomsday are still quite good, especially in Hypercrypt where you can redeploy them easily to draw line of sight.

Where does that tranceweaver come from? It's incredible!
I believe it is from the Creature Caster line!
Doesn’t the blues explode on a 4+ when they die, and don’t daemons regenerate models if they pass their battle shock test?

Glad to see Awakened detachment being used
It's still my favourite! I'll probably stick to it once I play the other ones a few times.
Loved the boogie woogie reference
Come for the battle reports, stay for Luka opining on the nature of wargaming!
Damn right!
Just curious why are they played at 1500 instead of 2k?

@@GriffyGood Gotcha makes sense. Thanks for the response.
also if you use 8th or 9th ed points and then move that army to 10th you will get about 1500 points give or take a 100 points per army
Because it's less work for MWG.

That is why the necrons did not need huge sweeping nerfs. That was not a game the was Luka rolling dice and the other guy putting his toys away.
Hot damn, those rolls. Lord.
How many times does he say the wrong name for the Chaos Deamons: Yes 😂😂
I WAS HAVING A HARD TIME! It was tough out there.
@@lukapavicevic335No worries. I liked it. Made my day.
thx for battle report 😊
I have a army request is to play White scars with the Stormlane task force
Gosh that is a tempting request! Something I've been considering.....
I'm listening but not watching. What is even going on? Just get excited about dice and murder damn it
Luka got Keeper of Secret and Lord of Change confused constantly lol
Wow thath was close game :D
Right?!
play proper or dont play at all
