What a game! IK are bad pairing for drukhari, specially in a skysplinter assault because they start with very few pain tokens and they get very few tokens when they kill the very-hard-to-kill knights, and the knights have an easy time in removing the drukhari transports. Lore wise they get very few slaves if they defeat the knights.... but it seems it has been a distraction from the beginning. The drukhari got more slaves elsewhere.... thats an ECP! (evil cunning plan) 😄
I must say that I love the new style of report, one suggestion though. Could you put a score board up somewhere? Just keeps us in the know. Either way, great bat rep gents
Ahh yes the old Dark Eldar. I've still got my collection from the 2000's 😅 Random thing though: Does anyone else prefer the old style? I'm not a huge fan of the new - can barely see what's going on!
100% agree, it feels so far away, I really dont like it. Its like watching poeple rolling dices in another room. I really like the old reports where they've got pov camera and rolled the dice directly on table, it felt like you where part of the game. I loved to watch your battlereports but I guess I will look for another channel now.
i actively love how matched play rules force you to worry about more than killing the opponent's models if you want to win. that really allows GW to have an added type of balance, one that is basically an asynchronous balance (such as killy Knights that are bad at points needing to kill enough of the opponent soon enough to be able to win vs. armies that are bad at killing them that are much better at maneuverability/scoring that need to score enough to win before they're wiped out). Knights get to feel tough and strong, other factions get to feel special for winning/surviving against them, good times for all. else, they'd have to neuter the power of factions like Knights or remove them from the game. fully understand how it's not for you, tho! just offering an alternative perspective. also, if you really love having the winner be who killed the most, you might check out The Old World! it's a really different game, but a whole lot of fun to watch.
