The BBC should have all missing episodes animated like this and then released on DVD
I agree Charlie Warner I would love to see these missing stories released on dvd asap
Not this Type of animation,😂 they should fix it up a little bit first.😂
yeah the paper dolls thing isnt the nicest@@terryhobbsiii
Somehow it feels normal to have them all slidiing around on the ice... after all, ice is very slippery.
"That? Why I can't see anything without my glasses, anyway I don't like this place!"
How much I just love the First Doctor.
Thanks for uploading. I’ve just started watching from the begging on iPlayer and this is my first missing story.
I love this recon and I hope you will eventually finish this serial. In this meantime this one will be replacing the one currently in my collection. Excellent work!
This is amazing. So much better than that CG trainwreck, I'm blown away by how well done this is.
TheQuazz
Which CG Trainwreck?
Telesnaps are better
TheQuazz he's probably talking about who recons as though he could do better himself! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Incredible work mate! Your animation brilliantly aids the audio in bringing this lost episode to life on another level
his manic laughing is the best thing ever ( :
When I was 11 and miserable at my fucking awful posh grammar school reading Target Dr Who books kept me sane. Good vid Josh mate. 😉
An excellent reconstruction. Well done sir!
Very clever - and resourcefully done. Thank you, Josh.
This is wonderful to watch, beautifully done, a real feel of watching the genuine article.
This is very well made, Excellent work.
Excellent, really brings life to the audio.
This is excellent, I'm having a Who marathon and really enjoying the animation/story so far. Didn't expect to see stories such as this, so finding it online today was a pleasant surprise. I was going to skip the episodes that don't exist visually!
Hey, where do you suggest to watch first?
@@kentick3795 Episode 1.
please do more of these! brilliant!
A truly great job!
Yes! My favourite story! Thank you Josh.
+RassilonsArmy Thanks for watching, I'm hope it's close to what you imagined :)!
How can it be your favourite story when the episodes are missing?!
@@matthewduncan8523 The audio still exists, as well as hundreds of photos.
I love the smoke at 10:20. Really brings the shot to life.
please animate the other parts!
Please!!!
Lol! It looks like it would be quote a complicated process! We always have: 'Loose Cannon,' on their: 'Daily Motion,' website, to last us, until then! :)
Excellent work.
This is very well done!
amazing work with a capital A. 10/10. You should be signed up immediately for official releases as these are wonderful. 10/10.
That was so well done.Better than any animation.
The BBC needs to animate this story ASAP.
I love spending my weekend's stroking footprints.
Impressive. very nice, thank you ❤️
Good work!
You could honestly watch the first three seasons like this and lose nothing
First viewer! I love your animations, they are fantastic!
+ColonelKFC That was fast haha! Thanks :)
great as ever.... just hoping UWM4 hasnt bene abandoned! We need that completed ;)
I'm at around 10 minutes in, it'll happen!
A bit crude and jerky, but exciting since I've only heard descriptions of Marco Polo. Thank for the hard work put in.
would really like to see you do more!
I wish you would do this for the full story! it really felt like I was watching the real thing
Excellent video. You wouldn’t happen to have the other 6 parts of the story would you?
Will you do all of Marco Polo and Evil of the Daleks?
The Doctor says he can't see anything without his glasses. That's a nice bit of trivia I didn't know. :D
15:35 I would have died if Indiana Jones music started playing
this is quite excellent.please make it BBC
well done dude, im still working on web of fear 3, but its slow
Looking forward to seeing it!
+Josh Snares I'm about 5 mins in, I may upload what I've got so far soon
@Ian Sybesma its from the end of the episode before
I wish the BBC weren't such hardasses because the title sequence would be so fantastic and would make this even more perfect than it already is.
Will you ever do more of these?
I will glitch this, beat me to it! Also, completely fantastic job here, where did you get the sound???? I'm drunk goes w/o sayin.
Kewl :33
7000th view thanks for the missing episode
Josh, can't you animate the other 6 missing episodes please
PLEASE ANIMATE THE OTHER PARTS PLEASEEE
It's likely that this serial never be seen again.
The BBC burned their copies of the episodes, and they were found in Nigeria.
They were offered to be returned to the BBC, but they rejected the offer, and so the copies in Nigeria were also burnt.
So unless someone had the resources to video tape them, and has kept them safe for nearly 60 years, these episodes will forever be lost.
"and that's Charlton"
Very good presentation! Any plans to finish this project?
None haha
BBC please hire josh snares
Maybe you could do some editing, and animate their mouths moving when they talk, and their legs moving when they walk.
Even though some are animated on DVD, do you still consider doing lost episodes of The Moonbase, The Reign of Terror, The Invasion, etc?
Not really, mainly because I like those animations, and I have 0 free time haha!
+Josh Snares To be honest, I think your animation is a better idea than doing a cartoon but it's your choice.
what about the other parts?
where is the other parts ?
10:14 is kinda hilarious out of context
Hilarious
And the outhers episodes?
Is the big foot print ever explained?
Yes, I think they mention at one point that it was an ordinary footprint, but as the ice melted it grew larger! :)
Great work. I tried watching the CGI version but it is so primitive and the characters look nothing like the cast of the original show.
Yeah those CGI ones are awful
I doubt il get a response cos these comments r old but what Cgi version?
He was muy favourite dr william hartnell I've got all the dvds except these mising episode the BBC throw them away
He is called the doctor not doctor who
wait some of it had actual video? how?...I am dying to get stuff that is better than just "listening" to basically a radio show....if I lived in the 40s or early 50s I wouldn't mind listening. But I am outraged about BBC losing or not giving a shit about their franchise like this....people have to make up shit to go with the audio....its unthinkable.....this was not the only show. Apparently the Avengers series had the same fate!.....its crazy!
is this the only way i can watch marco polo... it aint on dvd at all ?
Well, there’s a condensed photo slideshow on the _The Edge of Destruction_ DVD in the “The Beginning” box set, but, other than that, the only legal way to experience the story is the narrated CD soundtrack.
No point releasing audio files on a visual medium, after all! 🤣
