- I reviewed The BEST Doctor Who MAP In Garry's Mod and it's not really close. This map has different planets like Gallifrey, Trenzalore, Skaro, the Moon and obviously Earth. You can get to any of these planets using the TARDIS Rewrite addon and there's also a lot of opportunities to use the Sonic Screwdriver Addon for many interactable doors and objects. There's even a UNIT base on Earth it looks a lot different than the one in the Dr Who 60th anniversary The Giggle but more like the U.N.I.T base from Classic Who. The map also has The Shadow Proclamation from Series 4's The Stolen Earth/Journey's End and also Series 9's The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar. And there's Dalek ships ready to exterminate Earth, other Sci-Fi typical spaceships and possibly the Slitheen's planet or Clom. This map also has Skaro, the outside of it looks like the Dalek home planet from the Dr Who TV Movie and the inside looks like Skaro from the Asylum of the Daleks.

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television programme produced by the BBC since November 23rd, 1963. The programme depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called "The Doctor", an extraterrestrial being, appearing to be human. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. Its exterior appears as a blue British metropolitan police box, which was a common sight in Britain in the 1960’s when the series first aired. Accompanied by a number of companions, the Doctor combats a variety of foes like the Daleks and Cybermen while working to save civilisations and save people in need.
Beginning with William Hartnell, over fifteen actors have headlined the series as the Doctor. The transition from one actor to another is written into the plot of the show with the concept of regeneration into a new incarnation and body, a plot device in which a Timelord "transforms" into a new body when the current one is too badly harmed to heal normally. The recent regeneration as seen in The Giggle was the Controversial Bigeneration from David Tenannt to Ncuti Gatwa.
A series of special episodes of the British Sci-Fi TV programme Dr Who recently aired to celebrate the 60th anniversary. The episodes are written by Russell T Davies, and were broadcast on BBC One in November to December 2023, preceding the following series fourteen otherwise known as season one. David Tennant appeared as the Fourteenth Doctor before Ncuti Gatwa took over as the Fifteenth Doctor. Catherine Tate and Bernard Cribbins reprised their roles of Donna and Sylvia Noble. The three specials are directed by Rachel Talalay, Tom Kingsley and Chanya Button. Filming moved from Roath Lock Studios to Bad Wolf Studios once Bad Wolf became a co-producer of the series. Disney has partnered with the BBC and Doctor Who to have Dr Who stream on Disney’s platform, Disney Plus. Disney+ will allow people from many different countries to watch Doctor Who at the same time as the UK. Disney have also given Doctor Who a larger budget meaning the episodes will have better quality and Doctor Who’s CGI/visual effects will be better than ever.
Ncuti Gatwa had previously been announced as Jodie Whittaker's successor after David Tennant reprises his role as the doctor in the 60th anniversary specials as the programme's lead, and many reports stated he would play the Fourteenth Doctor and that Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor would regenerate into an incarnation portrayed by Gatwa. Upon Jodie Whittaker's final appearance as the character in The Power Of The Doctor, she instead regenerated into a form similar to the Tenth Doctor. This character, portrayed by Tennant, was confirmed to be the Fourteenth Doctor, with later clarification that Ncuti Gatwa would actually portray the Fifteenth Doctor. Ncuti Gatwa’s 15th doctor has also had his companion announced as Millie Gibson playing Ruby Sunday live on Children In Need. Her first proper appearance in Dr Who was in the first Christmas special since Twice Upon a Time in 2017. This episode focussed on Ruby and her family including Cherry Sunday and Carla Sunday. It also featured Goblins and a Goblin ship including Susan Twist as also seen in Wild Blue Yonder. The episode was called The Church on Ruby Road. Miss Flood, as played by Anita Dobson, is a mysterious character who broke the fourth wall at the end of the Xmas Special when Ruby Sunday first entered the TARDIS with the Fifthteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa. She is seen to also appear in season 2 / series 15 and is rumoured to be a renegade Timelord such as The Rani or even The Master.

to answer your question, the green planet is most likely raxacoricofallapatorius since the server has a slitheen faction
Oh it does? That makes sense then, I haven't played the server in some time I should probably play it some more those were some fun times back then.

The UNIT base actually uses keypads from the Billy’s keypads mod (At least on the server) so only UNIT personnel and Time lords can enter, as they are equipped with keycards.
Also, that green planet is, in fact, Raxacorricafallapatoria.
Ah okay, thank you for letting me know. I will probably play on the server a bit more know because I havent played in a long time and it is pretty fun to be fair and it will help me understand the map a bit more apparently lmao
Fun Fact: The giant TARDIS at Trenzalore is actually the exterior from the old Capaldi TARDIS.

It's not as exciting as it sounds lol. The 2023 TARDIS is up on the workshop but doesn't have an interior in the game. I just got it on the workshop so that when it officially releases I will have it ready but I can't wait for it to release and I'm going to make a video on it as soon as it comes out!
I would love it if someone made more doctor who mods for Gmod
There are quite a lot already but there is still obviously a lot more things in Doctor Who that aren't in Gmod and hopefully will be added at some point

Me and a few friends worked on some stuff on this map, I did the tardis, the dalek saucers and a couple of minor contributions, Fakie did the tombstones and the dalek ship interior, and Ryan did massive optimisations to help push the map to its limits :) thanks for the coverage, I'm glad you're enjoying using it :) shout out to dylan for putting the map together

Spiridion was the setting of the Third Doctor story "Planet of the Daleks", which also happened to be pretty green and had a similarly round-shaped base ^^

Yes in fact as soon as I saw it when i got the map my inner nerd activated and I said " That's the Piller of Autumn from Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo Reach, and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. ugh I'm a nerd.

Hey! I just saw this video! I'm the main contributor of this map as of now! We planned on doing some crazy stuff with it like complete overhauls and other stuff, however It's really buggy and an absolute sh*tshow to work with since the map has reached the absolute limit of the game engine, that's why it's technically not released and kind of hidden away and only used on the server. I was originally planning on releasing it to the public and I might put in a couple more hours to get it to a fixed and perfectly working state, with everything working for singleplayer especially, however it's a tedious process and I'm pretty busy with my actual job lmao. However I do really appreciate your video, I don't get those often haha! Keep up your work

It is the official one but it isn't finished and I don't get it early or anything I just have it now so fat when it does release I won't have to go find the addon and subscribe and things I'll just have it ready

@@VanderzzWho although i really wasn’t a big Doctor Who fan, my mate used to love everything about it. He taught me all about the lore, and then we stumbled upon this map on the workshop. It was really fun chasing each other with screwdrivers and Tardis’es.

The gallifrey and shadow proclamation maps look like they were ripped from roblox tardis flight classic.
They do look quite similar to be fair, but both TFC and this map in Gmod have little space and not fantastic graphics available so it could just be a coincidence or it could be some inspiration although this map is quite old so i doubt it was ripped off tbh

This map is so good but the gravity is so bad on most planets do you have an ideas on how to fix this?
I don't have any gravity issues, it's all the same for me. I think you may have another addon like spacebuild or something that is interfering with your game causing different gravity levels
This map reminds me of Doctor who tardis flight classic from Roblox am I the only one that sees that
It is a similar sort of thing, this is more of a conclusive map and feels better spread out but the TFC one has much more references and things in it

Yeah that's what I thought. I used to play it quite a bit a long time ago and the map is almost the exact same however the way the server works has changed a lot and I will probably play on it a bit more now because it used to be really fun!

@@clarketheking8962 aww man I thought that would've worked. Maybe try unsubscribing and resubscribing to the map addon if you haven't tried that and the game I have mounted is CS2 I believe

why does this remind me of tardis flight classic
It is similar to be fair, they both let you fly to and from many Doctor Who locations in the TARDIS with the sonic etc, etc I haven't played TARDIS Flight Classic in a while to be fair, I might try and get into it again
I'm having problems with the texture of the ships
I would re-install the map pack as it was updated recently and seems like you didnt get the update, either that or it is broken at the minute because I know the server is having issues right now, I don't know about the map though
When will the new 2024 TARDIS addon come out
I know nothing more than anyone else all I can say is that from the teaser photos the interior looks basically done except the console so maybe expect it in a week or two

Is there any way to open the doors at unit without the sonic? If not, is that on purpouse?
On some of the doors you can use your interaction key (by default its "E") but if it doesn't work then you need a sonic. I don't know if it's intentional or not to be honest but it can get annoying but it can also be equally cool

there is apparently a bug with it at the moment which should be updated in a couple of days so I would wait and see if that fixes it because the creators know about the issue so I assume they will include a fix for it

Yeah that doesn't really surprise me it's very randomly placed. It's quite a shame it's just stolen though

Also I thought I recognised that ship so it probably is from Stargate but (and I know this is basically a crime) I never really have gotten into Star Wars so I wouldn't recognise Yoda's planet so thank you for letting me know of that too
