Wrecker is like omegas best friend/ brother Hunter is like her dad Tech is just tech/the mum idk Echo is the scary older brother Crosshair went to buy cigarettes, and he'll be back next episode
Wrecker might have a child like personality, but he is still pretty strong mentally. Most of the "regs" couldn't fight the chip, but he still bought omega some time.
He fought his chip for weeks. In the episode before this one he was visually fighting it and even said good soldiers follow orders. He fought it for literal weeks
Rex fought it as well. Cross needs his chip to malfunction (it could happen, since Tarkin pushed the effects up as far as they would go it seemed) so he can ditch the Empire & join his brothers, where he truly belongs. Gut wrenching thinking about where he should be & where he is, or what he is doing. Tech needs to remove his chip if my theory is wrong. He is too much an integral member or Squad 99. He always did anything for his brothers. Can't just give up on a character because he's "unlikable" or confrontational. This actually makes him a gem. He's not cliche. I love his banter & sarcastic manner. He also, if you have noticed at all, hangs out with Wrecker quite a bit. Even though he acts like he can't stand him. With regard to his behavior around the "Regs" & Captain Rex, I think he likes to get a rise or reaction from people. See what they will do or how they will react. Cross likes to push people's buttons, so to speak. As simple as that. I absolutely fell in love with his character in the Clone Wars episodes. I do wish he will somehow, someway be given the chance to rejoin his Squad 99.

Omega sees Rex has lines on his face... “You must be Generation 1.” Think of this... She grew up and lived her entire life in the cloning facility. She studied clones, interacted with various series of clones personally, and is a clone herself. (P.S. For a lines on face reference, see the first verse of Aerosmith ‘s “Dream On.”)
Me too! Imagine how dark it would’ve been if Wrecker actually snapped Tech’s neck… After he got his chip out, he would probably never forgive himself and the rest of the Bad Batch would never feel the same way about Wrecker anymore.
you know when Omega narrowly misses Wrecker’s head when he is strangling Hunter? What if she didn’t miss, and the Blaster Bolt went through Wrecker’s and Hunter’s heads, killing them both. Seeing as how Wrecker had killed Tech, Crosshair had joined the Empire, and she just killed Hunter and Wrecker, she puts the end of the blaster into her own mouth, and pulls the trigger, killing herself.
@@david-bd8op Dang… And then Rex comes in, and sees the slaughter. It reminds him all too much of the last time he saw clones obey Order 66. He and Echo both bury the deceased Bad Batch members on Bracca and they leave, heartbroken. Which leaves Crosshair as the only living (ex)member of the Bad Batch. The Empire was notified of the presence of clone troopers on Bracca, and Crosshair’s squad is sent to investigate. They see the graves, and Crosshair examines the ship where it all took place. He puts two and two together, and forms some of idea of what happened. His chip defects for a fraction of a second, and the grief almost overwhelms him before it is fully functional again. He is truly alone, the only people who ever cared for him are now dead.
This episode was amazing, but I really hoped for a better reunion between Rex and Echo. Given how they were separated before order 66, I'm sure there was so much they could've talked about. Yeah i don't think a 9 year old kamino medical Assistant child wouldn't know how to identify clones, especially when there on his and she literally says it because of the markings on his face.
My favorite episode so far. Absolutely stunning. The animation was beautiful, and the quality of sound on Bracca (birds calling in the distance) gave a sense of the enormity of the place and the ships in this vast graveyard. And, the music!!! It was used so well. That brief moment of silence right before wrecker lost it? Perfection. This attention to detail is one of the reasons I fell in love with The Clone Wars, and I’m thrilled to see it hear, too. Have I raved enough? Ok, then, I’ll end with these two words : Space popcorn.
Was worried a bit that wrecker was gonna break techs neck.i think they were able to disable wrecker a bit quick but I assume that down to time limit for the episode.
Dude he took down them all down rly quickly that’s probably why hunter got knocked the f out tech got absolutely chocked and Echo got thrown full force into Rex. I think that’s why it felt short since they got taken down so quick. I’d agree with you if one of the others had got up but it was only Rex who when Echo was thrown at him only hit his head on the floor echo didn’t hit him on the head meaning it wouldn’t take him as long to get up. He probably wasn’t even knocked out knowing how much of a beating he can take shown by his armour at the end of season 7 and getting hit by a sniper earlier on.
9:55 I teared up in this scene. Rex remembers Ahsoka and their struggles together and also what she did for him to remove his own inhibitor chip. What Omega does in this scene for Wrecker, not leaving his side until he wakes up is reminiscent of that. The music in this scene was also powerful enough to elevate this scene to one of the best in Bad Batch for me already. This is god tier Star Wars, Filoni did it again.
I'm really concerned that Crosshair will end up killing one of his brothers before they are able to remove his inhibitor chip. That could be the balance to his redemption story.
This show is amazing. The visuals are outstanding and Wrecker genuinely scares the crap outta me when he's full on order 66 mode. You have that and then you're hit with such wholesomeness when he and Omega are eating the popcorn at the end. Kudos to everyone involved in making this show. it's so good!
Which was my only disappointment with the episode. I was looking forward to a great character moment between Echo and Rex as Rex told him about Fives and Tup. Instead, we get a single name-drop with no reaction. Blown opportunity.
You know what's really exciting to me? Offscreen, Rex could have potentially told Hunter *anything* he knows and it would only be revealed later. Makes a LOT of theories possible!
UA-cam: wants videos to be longer Star Wars Theory: "Crossing a wire, Wrecker shows his fear of heights once again. He gets into some trouble as he climbs over the wire, once again, showing his fear of heights-"
One thing that made me think that it wasn't him was when the Martez's sister where kinda surprise to see clones not working for the Empire so at the time for me it can't be Rex or the sisters will know that some clones are working against the Empire. Omega might've been an ambassador clone, bred for negotiations not combat therefore no inhibitor chip. For negotiations you need a clear & level head, so I believe the clones became a race of individuals a culture of warriors bred to fight and die if necessary, so as a people the kaminoans created a senator to represent the clones in the Senate.

@@conorwalsh471 i dont remember what comic it was, but I saw a few snippets from one where this group of bandits or rebels or something was up against inquisitors and clones-turned-stormtroopers and the rebels said "execute order 66" out loud so that the clones would kill the inquisitors since they used to be jedi and it worked. kind of a wild scene and I think it's in legends now but it's cool to see that there's a possibility anyone could say it and activate it.
i wonder if disney fully realizes that they could make a dozen shows using this art style, in this or a different timeline and no one would get bored of it. i swear for an animated show some off these shots almost look real

I actually love the relationship between Omega and Wrecker
Me too
It's so sweet and innocent
Wrecker is like omegas best friend/ brother
Hunter is like her dad
Tech is just tech/the mum idk
Echo is the scary older brother
Crosshair went to buy cigarettes, and he'll be back next episode
@@tutorialstipsandtricks1042 echo is like the older brother who doesnt do anything with their sibling but if they need help then theyll help them
@@tutorialstipsandtricks1042 tech is her brother not a mom wtf that's just weird
I love the fact that you can see sadness in Rex's eyes, but he's still trying to be optimistic.
I lost optimism a long time ago 😔
Probably he has PTSD from Order 66
Wrecker might have a child like personality, but he is still pretty strong mentally. Most of the "regs" couldn't fight the chip, but he still bought omega some time.
He fought his chip for weeks. In the episode before this one he was visually fighting it and even said good soldiers follow orders. He fought it for literal weeks
His chip isn't as strong either, as seen when crosshairs is enhanced, but still people are overlooking this
@@DayZeroChannel yeah but you've gotta admit evil wrecker is badass. If he'd join empire the war'd be pretty much over.
I do wish he will somehow, someway be given the chance to rejoin his Squad 99.
omega: *does anything*
everyone: i diagnose you w/ force sensitive
Yeah. . . . it’s kind of ridiculous
There were some hints from the way Rex was exclaiming about Omega's insights that Omega may not be a good clone...
It’s circular reasoning. “She’s Force sensitive, so this is her using the Force, so she’s Force sensitive!” Nah, she’s just smart.
@@disguisedcentennial835 Upgrade clone but not forcesensitive.
Yeah it's a pretty big leap saying she is a force sensitive when all she has shown is increased perception. Star Wars Theory wants more force sensitives all around.
the bad batch does a great job at showing how the clones were the victims of order 66
“If you didn’t watch the clone wars and rebels… what are you doing?!?” couldn’t have said it better man
I don't really think that Omega is force sensitive, I just think that she's really perceptive and adaptive.
Maybe- but so was Anakin in episode one. He doesn’t show anything crazy- but is really observant and figures out Qui Gon is a Jedi quickly.
He also takes out a Trade Federation Battleship in the first time he flew, accidently, a Naboo Starfighter and single handedly turned the War on Naboo in their favor...
@@solvemproblerstudios5889 He figured out the most jedi-looking man ever was a jedi, very perceptive. I'm messing with you of course, but come on, Qui-Gon is the visual definition of a jedi.

Im not even joking episode 7 of the bad batch was crazy when i saw captain rex in the cloak at first i thought it was boba fett like from the mandalorian since he kind of woar that cloak and then when i saw wrecker go into order 66 mode and choked hunter i was getting worried and at the same time i was kind of yelling too this is my favorite episode out of the bad batch so far and awesome video

@@Inhindsightpod Bruh no he's like 16. Omega is 11
Rex has his "Strider" moment, like when the hobbits meet Aragorn for the first time at the Prancing Pony.
Omega sees Rex has lines on his face... “You must be Generation 1.”
Think of this...
She grew up and lived her entire life in the cloning facility. She studied clones, interacted with various series of clones personally, and is a clone herself.
(P.S. For a lines on face reference, see the first verse of Aerosmith ‘s “Dream On.”)
when wrecker grabbed tech like that I was really scared that he would acrually kill him
Me too! Imagine how dark it would’ve been if Wrecker actually snapped Tech’s neck…
After he got his chip out, he would probably never forgive himself and the rest of the Bad Batch would never feel the same way about Wrecker anymore.
you know when Omega narrowly misses Wrecker’s head when he is strangling Hunter? What if she didn’t miss, and the Blaster Bolt went through Wrecker’s and Hunter’s heads, killing them both. Seeing as how Wrecker had killed Tech, Crosshair had joined the Empire, and she just killed Hunter and Wrecker, she puts the end of the blaster into her own mouth, and pulls the trigger, killing herself.
@@david-bd8op what about echo
@@david-bd8op Dang…
And then Rex comes in, and sees the slaughter.
@@david-bd8op lol I couldn't take that seriously at the end. It sounded so meme worthy
"You're in direct violation with Order 66" was such COLD line for Wrecker.
The child like one of the group speaking so harshly gave me chills
Not gonna lie, my hand was shaking when I saw Rex’s armor, and honestly I was shaking again when Wrecker said “Good soldiers follow orders”
This episode was amazing, but I really hoped for a better reunion between Rex and Echo. Given how they were separated before order 66, I'm sure there was so much they could've talked about. Imagine Echo asking Rex about Obi Wan, Anakin, Ashoka, what happened to him during order 66, what happened to Jesse. They really missed an amazing and emotional opportunity here ...
What’s crazy is eventually Rex gives up and doesn’t fight for the rebellion when they find him in rebels he’s had it with the resistance
SWT: “Rex was kind of like Anakins right hand man”
Ashoka: “Am I a joke to you?”
They were both

The episode itself was really great and had me constantly hooked, but did anyone else notice how great and photorealistic that water looked? Like damn I'm so absolutely amazed by the quality of the animation itself. The physics, the lighting, the facial animation.....it's as good as live action really.
Im glad I am not the only one who was admiring the water
I wish that they would make all Star Wars projects animated in this style from now on. Also if they could remake the movies animated in this style that would be so awesome!
Didn’t Rex say their were “Very few clones” who were immune to inhibitor chip not just Bad Batch maybe Delta squad?
Yep, nice profile btw

I don’t get why Rex would still be wearing his armor if he is trying to lay low
He always wore his armour even in Rebels
I'm sure he is proud of his armor, and wouldn't discard it.
I think people forget how massive this universe is, and how much easier it is to to lay low from the Empire at this point . At least I think Rex is smart enough
That’s a little of a stretch to say she’s a force sensitive when she said he was a first phase clone …the wrinkles on his forehead, that’s how she knew
Yea we already know that Omega spent her whole life on amino observing the clones. Chances are she’d recognize those small details with as much ease as we saw.

This episode is by far my favorite so far.
Rex going in the smoke after talking to hunter reminds of the umbara arc
My favorite episode so far. Absolutely stunning. The animation was beautiful, and the quality of sound on Bracca (birds calling in the distance) gave a sense of the enormity of the place and the ships in this vast graveyard. And, the music!!! It was used so well. That brief moment of silence right before wrecker lost it? Perfection. This attention to detail is one of the reasons I fell in love with The Clone Wars, and I’m thrilled to see it hear, too. Have I raved enough? Ok, then, I’ll end with these two words : Space popcorn.
Anyone else cry a little when Wrecker started saying sorry about attacking her😭😭😭
Was worried a bit that wrecker was gonna break techs neck.i think they were able to disable wrecker a bit quick but I assume that down to time limit for the episode.
Me too, poor Tech
I love the comparison of Rex to Clone Wars Anakin.
He wouldn’t be speaking to Gregor or wolf as he says I haven’t been on this end of the procedure so he hasn’t taken out their chips yet
I don't think he was the one who removed their chips
The creature that attacks Wrecker also looks the creature from Force Awakens on Han's ship
Tell that to Kanjiklub
9:55 I teared up in this scene. Rex remembers Ahsoka and their struggles together and also what she did for him to remove his own inhibitor chip. What Omega does in this scene for Wrecker, not leaving his side until he wakes up is reminiscent of that.
The music in this scene was also powerful enough to elevate this scene to one of the best in Bad Batch for me already.
This is god tier Star Wars, Filoni did it again.
I can already see it now...

You know what's really exciting to me? Offscreen, Rex could have potentially told Hunter *anything* he knows and it would only be revealed later. Makes a LOT of theories possible!
Or maybe Omega recognizes that Rex’s wrinkles give away the fact he is a 1st generation clone, because that’s what she says.
