  • Hey everyone! This is about as close as you can get to the real thing! I have put together a recipe based upon their list of ingredients that mimics the recipe as close as possible that you wont be able to taste a difference! Let me know of anything else you would like to see!
    Recipe:
    Tomatillos: 1.1 Lbs
Vine Tomatoes: 2 or 7 Ozs
    Garlic Cloves: 2
    Diced Jalapenos: 1 Tablespoon
    Diced Red Onion: 3 Tablespoons
    Diced Cilantro: 3 Tablespoons
Kosher Salt: 1-2 Teaspoons to taste
Citrus Juice: 1/2 Teaspoon of lime juice and lemon juice
    Cumin: 1 Teaspoon
    NOTE*
Make sure to broil the tomatillos, tomatoes, and garlic for 12 minutes total, 6 minutes each side.
Make sure to blend until well combined, however long this takes on high with a food processor or blender.

I have tried this medium salsa twice. I used the same ingredients(what I had on hand) in different proportions. Not leaving out the spices either time or the lime which besides the tomatillo is the most important acid. And it still taste like the real deal. It is SOO refreshing to find someone who makes a promise and then actually delivers on that promise. Thank U For your kindness.

Yo this video leveled up my home salsa game for real. Roasted tomatoes/tomatillos with raw onions/jalapenos is my shit. I've been making tomatillo salsa at home for years and after a bunch of extra cilantro+jalapeno this ended up being the best I've made. Thank you!

Just made this. Very easy to make (I used my Nutribullet) and it’s so good! This salsa has a prefect tartness to it and I actually like this one better than the red tomatillo salsa. I wasn’t sure whether to keep the skins on the tomatillos and tomatoes but I peeled them off in case the charred parts had any bitterness. Thanks for this recipe video. I need to get more tortilla chips for this weekend!
