I love you all!!! Hope you are all having a blessed and beautiful day, enjoy another easy and delicious recipe on the best salsas, seriously the best! Make sure you read the description box 😊
I made the salsa roja with a few quick changes; 6 chiles de árbol instead of 12 and instead of salt added teaspoon of chicken bouillon . It was still spicy but more tolerable for people that can’t stand the heat and more flavorful !! Thank you so much for this recipe ! I love your food
I made both of these. The salsa verde was SO GOOD! I’ve made quite a few of your recipes now and they always turn out good. Thanks for teaching this white girl how to cook authentic Mexican cuisine! It’s our favorite to eat!
I made both of these today. I needed salsa for both chicken and asada tacos. They were both very good. I received many compliments. But the green was raved about. Thank you for sharing so many great recipes.
Thank you for putting the ingredients in the description box. 💕 Also since watching your channel our family has enjoyed more of you delicious recipes. I made quesadillas for dinner last night, and last week made nachos. I can’t wait to make these 2 salsas next for 🌮 . Thanks so much for sharing your recipes.

Made the salsa verde yesterday. I did make 1 1/2 recipe as I needed a larger batch. We like hot and spicy. I used 7 tomatillo, 7 arbol, and (yikes) 2 habaneros. It was pretty hot even for us! I will be more careful with the habaneros next time. Delicious and we enjoyed it with shrimp tacos and chips.
Hi Claudia! My husband loves this red salsa recipe, he says it’s the real deal. I think I found your channel searching for authentic tasting flour tortillas and I couldn’t be more grateful. I use your recipes all the time, literally just about every day and have shared your recipes with others. My husband and I both grew up Arizona natives, he was from the Dunlap area in phoenix and I was in the west valley, the Goodyear/ Avondale area. We currently live in Tennessee and we still love and try to recreate our Mexican food we grew up eating (because it’s hard to find authentic over here) and yours is the closest to what we’ve tasted. Taste just like our childhood. I also think it’s funny that your husbands name is Louie because that’s what my husbands name is too😅 anyways, just wanted to let you know that we appreciate your recipes and hard work you put into it!
Everything about your comment is 100% on point! lol I'm from Arizona too, Lake Havasu. I live in Georgia and the Mexican food is seriously lacking out here! Please do not even get me started on that queso sauce that is poured all over EVERYTHING! SO GROSS! I like queso, but that is just gross. lol With Claudia's help, I'm making some of the dishes and salsas that I grew up with. If you live near Crossville, Tn, I can HIGHLY recommend La Costa Mexican restaurant! Excellent carne asada! They even have shredded beef! lol
OMG! I grew up in Texas and just finished making the salsa verde and I can say it’s seriously legit!!! If you have any doubt don’t I double the recipe it’s that good!! Thank you so so so much!!! This will be in my rotation for the rest of my life!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ ps I did add a tablespoon of chicken bouillon 😅
OMG. Ive been trying for years to find a good salsa sauce recipe... This one is the best. It reminds me of my favorite Mexican restaurants salsa. If a Mexicn restaurant doesnt have good salsa i do not return... I will try to make Claudia recipes for everything. This girl rocks. Thanks Claudia
I finally made salsa verde, and wow it’s amazing. I like it on the mild side so I just used jalapeños. It beats any bottled green salsa from the store. Too salty and sour from all the citric acid they use. But from now on I’m making these both at home. Thanks so much Claudia. ♥️✌🏼
I lived in south Texas for most of my life and now living in Ohio. I have tried so many recipes to replicate the authentic Mexican restaurant salsa you get down there... I made the red salsa and it is by far the closest one. Its is really good! Thanks for posting this!
Dear Claudia, can you please teach us how to make queso like dipping at mexican restaurants. Please! Thank you! Love your channel, thank you so much for sharing with us.
@@jayp1312 I live in west Texas, here our Mexican restaurants have the queso blanco, (white cheese) and some yellow cheese that has some type of green chili and some red stuff that tastes like pimento and OMG, they’re delicious. I even encouraged my daughter to work there to get a hint of the recipes (no luck) but yes, they were that good.
@@jayp1312 not sure where you're from, but plenty of Mexican restaurants have queso for dipping. I grew up in Texas, and every joint had it. I usually just eat the salsa, but queso always seems to be an option.
Okay, I just made these two salsas and omg, they are delicious! Thank you Claudia! I am pairing this with your instant pot barbacoa! (Which was also delicious)
When I was growing up, my best friend was first-generation American. His mom moved here from Mexico when she was 7. I spent a lot of time hoping to be invited to dinner at their house! She taught me a lot of recipes over the years, and I've got to say your channel takes me back to that food. This channel should come with an ice-cold beer (but no lime.)
I've been making your huevos rancheros every day this week and yesterday I made your Pina colada tres leches, super moist and delicious!!! Can't wait to make these !
Each day I look forward to seeing if you post a new recipe! It all looks so good. Thank you for sharing your recipes and family with us all! I'm making your Mexican spaghetti for the first time!
Salsa yummy!!! I like chips in salsa and in my tacos 😋 you just taught me how to make the best salsa Claudia ❤️ I have a book where I write all your recipes down! My family has been eating good because of you 😊 thanks for teaching me how to cook Claudia ❤️❤️ love you!
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate you posting this red salsa recipe! THANK YOU! I use this recipe all the time now, pretty much every week. I have never been able to make a really good salsa until now. I make it almost exactly like you did and it's perfect! I used as many chile de arbol as you for our first batch and nearly died it was so hot! I only use 6 now after learning my lesson 😂 Anyway, I've been subscribed for a little while and all your recipes always look amazing!
I'm laughing at your comment. My Mexican Cousins used all the hot peppers too, but now I like things less hot. I'm glad I looked thru the comments to see if anyone used less arbol peppers. Thank you. I thought 15 arbol peppers for just 3 tomatoes was pure 🔥 fire. I'll try using 6.
Oh my goodness! I just made your red salsa!! It came out so Good! Love the taste! I only used 3 chili de arbor. Perfect heat for me. Now I can have with my eggs in the morning. Thank you. Just Amazing.
Love this video! I had always tried to make salsas at home but they never turn out the way I want them, definitely trying both recipes for carne asada! Also, could you do a video about basic ingredients for Mexican food? like all you need at any given time or something like that? or is that a silly idea? I don't know...
Okay, Claudia! This was my first time ever making salsa from scratch. I have never even touched a tomatillo, so this was fun. Question for you, though - what do I do after I have burned my taste buds off with the tomatillo habanero salsa? >_< The tiny habanero I used packed a mighty punch.
I can never use Habenaro in anything, but the arbol peppers look interesting. I've only used jalapeño and Sereno peppers in Verde salsa so I can't wait to try this version less the habenaro
Thank you!! I tried asking my daddy and my cousin how to make salsa and they just said the ingredients and to cook them and blend for “a bit”🤦🏽♀️😅 I needed this video🤣🤣

Great recipes! However, I love my sister's "New Mexico" salsa (we're originally from NM) and it will always be my favorite. Like everything, there is no one fit (or two) for everyone. And Pico de Gallo is a must for Authentic fajitas - marinated tender skirt steak cooked on the grill, sliced thin, in a warmed flour tortilla with guacamole and pico de gallo. Heaven!
Wow, made the roja today - delicious, but for me it was really spicy. Going to have to cut the chiles de arbol, maybe by 1/2. Added a half a lime too after it was cooked, yum!
Got to watch out for the habanero Chile. It is supposed to be one of the hottest Chiles around 🥵. As it is, the chiles de arbol are pretty hot 🥵 and spicy too so I can imagine that together with the habanero Chile, the salsa is pure fire 🔥. (Words of wisdom from my Mexican relatives) LOL 😝.
Man, one's quality of life simply improves after ensuring at least one fresh salsa is available at the house! These are both delicious recipes! There's must be some magic that happens when you fry the onion and cilantro. Thank you for sharing. I just made your street tacos the other night, as well. Thanks for introducing me to chef merido seasoning, haha. It's a game changer.
Just made both. The red has a great flavor. Mine came out a smidge more chunky than creamy. Might reblend. Remember you are adding chopped onion and cilantro to the sauce making less creamy. Might add 10 arbol intead of 15. Not sure. The green came out kinda citrusey with the tomatillos and cilantro. Did not care for that. Not sure if its supposed to be like that. I would reduce salt a 1/4. Maybe remove habenero... This verde is really spiçy
