That clarinervium 🤤😍 I recently got my first anthurium. I had been wanting a strappy anthurium for a long time but just couldn't bring myself to pay the going prices for them. I found a bakerri and finally bought it for what I feel was a great price...it's a seedling but a good sized one...actually it has two growth points and the roots were super established! I've had it for about a month now and it has not disappointed! It has been pushing out a new leaf and it just keeps getting bigger and hasn't hardened off yet. I'm amazed at how much it sized up in comparison to the previous leaf. Needless to say, I'm in love and can't wait to see it get bigger and strappier 🥰
Glad to see you are getting the hang of this beautiful but challenging genus. Took me a while to figure out that they are used to being showered on nearly every day in the wild. I obviously can't do that, but I water them much more often now and they are loving it.
I have all my plants in cheap nursery plastic pots and I put them inside pretty (also plastic) cover pots. For me it works great because they’re light so I can move them around without any problems and when I water, I don’t need to wait for it to stop dripping completely because I just put them back in the cover por and that’s it! Sometimes I even water with the plant in the cover pot so it gets water from the top and then it absorbs the water from the bottom (I always wait for my plants to be completely dry before watering). Also, depending on your climate, plastic pots might be a bit better, it get si pretty cold over here in winter and ceramic pots also get very cold so that’s not great for the roots, whereas plastic pots maintain a better temperature for the soil/roots
I just got an Anthurium Quilted Hearts and it’s gorgeous! I haven’t had it very long but it’s growing new leaves already. I don’t have a grow cabinet but I have good air flow and use a humidifier. I just want to add you’re looking good, Momma! ❤
Love seeing you enjoying your Anthurium so much. Will there be an updated Anthurium care video at some point? That would be lovely :) Best wishes to you
I was so unsure about getting a veitchii…, wasn’t sure I would love it… but bought one and now it’s one of my favs because it always puts out huge leaves
I only have 1 anthurium cos I just don't have space for the large leaves, so I sat on the fence til I saw a video describing the miniature leaves of selby silver. It's so pretty and just the right size for my small space.
You have beautiful collections.. I have the King Anthurium (Veitchii) and I adore this plant!! I can’t believe how hardy and beautiful he is. He grows in my ambient environment in a large glass pitcher (so no drainage) and is in a mix of sphagnum and orchid mix. He’s thrived despite my terrible lack of fertilizing which I promise to correct for his sake cuz he deserves better! Lol unfortunately my beautiful glass pitcher will have to be broken when it’s time to repot because I didn’t foresee that the narrow neck won’t allow for the removal of the root bulb without damaging it 😩😭 lol
Oh gosh your Anthurium collection is doing so great they are all looking so beautiful, i have struggled with anthurium and still like to get some if I want them. Thanks for your tips and sharing this video, have more fun with your sweet baby girl, sending love and hugs, bye! 😂😘🤗💜💜
Wow, love all the big leaves! Anthuriums are so popular now, so fun since there are so many hybrids now. Too addicting for sure 😅. Thanks for sharing 😊
WoW 🤩 they are all beautiful! I have a regale and it’s not looking great… because I don’t have a cabinet. I am thinking of doing something about it I promise lol
Becca!!!! Your anthuriums are looking great!!! I have a lot of the same ones but Im curious to know are the all in Dela Tanks soils and where to you get the cute pots that look like a tea cup with a saucer I love those!!! Your mag silver was in one. They are all so beautiful!!!!!!❤❤
I only have a few Anthuriums so no recommendations, but yours are so lovely. What is your average or typical humidity in your plant room? Thank you for your videos Becca!
I have a Veichii; Forgettii; Clarinervium; Pteradytll; and Vitarifolium. They are all doing well this summer with morning sun. I do think they are special plants, beyond beautiful. Would love to have a dark one, and one with those wide veins. I do fear that if their leaves get to big that I will not have enough room for them. What then????
Nice collection 😍 If your Balaoanum were mine I’d air layer it. Have a Rotundagustifolium that had long stem an couldn’t stand it so I air layered an chopped it. First time air layering an anthurium but it was so easy an the plant didn’t skip a beat. 🫶🏼💚

Wow your anthurium are in such small pots! Looks cute actually but curious to see how long their robust chunky root systems can stay in those 🤞

This is a dangerous video to watch... my plant cabinet is getting empty and this is making me want to spend my paycheck on anthuriums 🙈
Tell me about it!!!!!! Half of my paycheck goes to plants 😂😂😂
Just this month, i spent a good amount of money for 12 anthoriums…
Great vid 😁
