Love you girl. You got me hooked on palmstreet and anthurium!!! I really enjoy your content and plants! I can't wait to get more anthurium babies from you!❤
Loved this and so relevant for me currently. Beginning of October I bought my first crystallinum, Sunday my Dorayaki Silver, and today a Crystal Hope! 🪴🙌🏻💚
❤❤I follow you on Palmstreet. I've been on one of your lives recently. What a coincidence that you made this video. I've been on a deep dive on the web trying to look up the difference between these two. You explained it better than the internet. Thanks! So many different cultivars of anthurium. It gets confusing.
I love your anthuriums, they look so healthy and happy! My doryaki arrived with leaves that were damaged in transit, and now it has finally given me new ones that are so cute and cup shaped! I adore it!
Hi Jaclynn, gosh those Anthuriums are so pretty and everytime I see you I think how beautiful you are looking and you always make me smile and be so happy enjoying your awesome channel. Have a great and blessed rest of your day, sending love and many hugs, bye!! 🥰😘💕💜💜💜💜💜💜
💜💜💜I love them all! My first Anthurium was a crystallinum and ngl it's on the struggle bus but it's alive and I'm determined to keep her growing. Thank you for a great video JJ, I learned a ton. ✌️ I know this will sound crazy but I don't really care for super silvery plants but the Silver Blush....idk what it is she purty and I want one.
If you follow the botanical nomenclature, it would be Anthurium crystallinum 'Michelle'. Uppercase genus, lowercase species---both italicized--- followed by Uppercase cultivar name inside single quotation marks.
It is frustrating because I bought a seedling that is supposed to be Silver Blush x warocqueanum and I cannot see how waroc is even in that plant. I don't have a Silver Blush to sit next to it, so maybe (at most) the leaf texture might be different because of the waroc parent. But the shape, size and pattern of the leaf shows no trace of waroc; and it is putting up an inflo at a very young age. I suspect it is just a Silver Blush selfing, but how are you going to know? I had planned on using it for breeding (assuming it had a more elongated leaf from waroc), but I really don't see that as an option because the identity is ????.
If you trust the breeder, then I'd say it's totally possible for one parent to overtake the other in a hybrid. You may have just been unlucky in buying one that looks more like mom than dad. On the other hand, though, warocqueanum does tend to take over most crosses 🤷🏻♀️

They're both very addicting 😅
Very informative video. I didn't know about the Dorayaki cultivar. I think both are hard to find. I will love them from a distance. 😍😍😍😍😍
My dorayaki is from Home Depot 🖤❤️
Hi bestie. I don't personally have any but I am always down to learn. You always teach us and it's easy to learn. Hope your having a wonderful day.

Love this, great Content.
Thanks!!
I try to hang out at the live whenever I can ❤
🥰🥰
Thank you for this video
My pleasure!
I am a follower on Palmstreet
You're amazing!! 🥰
Yay! In the Jungle! I just can't do Palmstreet. I don't like lives, I just want a page I can click on the plant at my leisure and buy it.
You can do that on palmstreet as well
@ I would be super interested in that! I cannot figure out the app.
Same. I have downloaded the app twice and it just isn’t for me.
Try looking just at the ones marked Purge…it’s different than a live. You can just scroll the plants that way
@ oh I see! Thanks!
I just got 2 doriyaki at Home Depot! I can't believe i found it at Home Depot for $18!
Awesome find!! I snagged a few myself, and some of them are seriously GORGEOUS!!
🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🖤🩶🤍🤎
Can you put it down as A. Crystallinum Michelle?
If you follow the botanical nomenclature, it would be Anthurium crystallinum 'Michelle'. Uppercase genus, lowercase species---both italicized--- followed by Uppercase cultivar name inside single quotation marks.

I do follow you on palm street. I just haven’t caught you yet.

How long does it take to get big leaves?
Depends on how often you up-size the pot
Can’t tell the difference between them. Both are beautiful.
That's what the video is for!
And why the bigger pot vs the smaller?
Not sure I understand what you're asking me
@ I’m wondering if the bigger the pot?the bigger the leaves?

I’m afraid I got lost when you started talking about cultivar.
😂😂 same here. Who am I kidding, I was already lost once she said hey plant fam! This is so confusing
A cultivar is a plant cultivated (made by, or bred by) a human, intentionally
