The vader 4 has more features, but I've never used gyro. The software is pretty deep. It's Flydigi and they seem really popular to the people that are aware of their controllers. But I like the top buttons and stick feel better on the razer and it feels more premium. The vader 4 has noticeable humps the sticks feel like they're going over when you move the sticks back and forth any direction. I like that the vader can assign macros to buttons. The only method I could come up with on the V3 was to assign bottom paddles RB and RT, and hit them at the same time to do the zone attack lol. I wish razer software would let you do more stuff. The old paddle design was hated by most in the community , this is has way more ergonomics than having to strain the fingers to something unnatural to the hand.
I got mine yesterday and the Hall Effect sensors feel so different to me. Even with lowering the dead zones in the app and in-game, the controller does not feel as snappy as my Scuf Instinct Pro. I played with the V3 Pro for a few hours and then switched back to my Scuf and the difference was immediately apparent. Oh. My . God. FINALLY they made a controller without the stupid back button placement! This looks WAY more ergonomic. It actually has everything I look for. Wow. This might actually be the one .
Are the V3 as wide as the V2, or have they changed the actual width of the new controllers vs the old V2's? Is the ergonomics the same or different (V3 vs V2)? Btw, the gaps around the LT/LB/M1 & RT/RB/M2 buttons seem prone to accumulate alot of dust & dirt. Build quality wont probably be as the same lvl of the V1 Ultimate.
@StardustLegacyFighter Bc it's still playable after 7 years of heavy use, doubt that'll be the case with all the V2's & V3's. The only issue that made me "abandon" it now is the left stick drifts, making you move slowly forward in most games. Besides, what other controller has 6 programmable button (ok 2 of them in bad position) but if any of the bumper button breaks for you, you can always reprogram those to the programmable buttons on top of the controller.

It’s $350 In my region 😢. I feel controllers doesn’t need to be this expensive. Looking for a Xbox elite controller replacement. My Xbox elite controller right bumper doesn’t work properly and left stick drifting like fast and furious 😂
What sucks imo about the controller is that it’s polling rate locked so you can’t access the 1000hz on the Xbox at most maybe 500hz (2ms delay) if you overclock But is going to be 250hz stock for Xbox (4ms delay) like wth 🤦🏽♂️
@@kenzilbaptiste2519 victrix gambit exist🤷🏽♂️the info is out there on polling rates and overclocking, is there anything of importance you want to contribute?

The size is great but the back buttons are bad also. It forces you to hold the controller a certain way and can be uncomfortable.
Seems overpriced to me for what the controller offers. You pay more for the brand name than the actual product (imho). I got a Vader 4 Pro and it seems just as good (if not better) than the Razer in terms of features.
$200 for a controller and they didn't have the foresight to make it compatible with their razer branded xbox charging docks. Everything else look fine.
Yeah, I mean it's noticeably more expensive in comparison, but at least they're finally implementing hall effect joysticks and slightly higher polling rates, although it's wired only.
@@daniele728They're both made in China, you doughnut. And btw, China only brands have a far better QC than ones that get sold all around the world, this is similar behaviour to JDM goods.
For gamers by gamers my hole. How dumb is it that oooooh you get 6 new buttons that aren't really new buttons at all but the exact same input as buttons already on the controller without being able to remap them to keyboard functions.
That's my biggest gripe with these "pro" controllers, as they restrict so many basic features, because they assume their users are all pros, who won't be allowed to use things like macros and keyboard buttons in LAN tournaments.
2,4 ghz - 250 hz connection, wired mode 1000 only in pc software, instead share button better should be turbo button(autofiremode), i mean wtf noautofire mode , this controller sucks
It's because it's marketed as an "esports controller", and all of those things are banned in tournaments. I wouldn't buy this controller for the features alone, as there are far better options available.
Don't buy this worthless controller. PRO / TE has stick drift out of the box with zero deadzone in game and in the app. Razer handled my case poorly, they might as well make a basketball team, they kept on passing me to another person and can't fix the stick drift issue. They have hall effects that drift, smh.
They don't suck, you just don't understand them properly. Whilst it's true that some of them are bad for input lag and precision, the better quality ones are miles better than any POTS joysticks. Also, TMR joysticks are going to be even better than hall effect joysticks, so watch this space.

It’s $350 In my region 😢. I feel controllers doesn’t need to be this expensive. Looking for a Xbox elite controller replacement. My Xbox elite controller right bumper doesn’t work properly and left stick drifting like fast and furious 😂
This one is far better than the Elite Series 2, although you could probably wait for a good deal late on down the line.
Lol they made that accessory pocket in the lid useless. Its upside down as you open it. You gonna dump everything every time its opened
Only if whatever you're putting inside is very loose.
What sucks imo about the controller is that it’s polling rate locked so you can’t access the 1000hz on the Xbox at most maybe 500hz (2ms delay) if you overclock
But is going to be 250hz stock for Xbox (4ms delay) like wth 🤦🏽♂️
Xbox is polling rate blocked
@@Teilzeit02 no higher than 500hz while PS5 has access to 1000hz and has for years
Thats Not true , Gamesir G7 se hast 1000hz on xbox
@@rhoadeiut you're talking out the ass rn
@@kenzilbaptiste2519 victrix gambit exist🤷🏽♂️the info is out there on polling rates and overclocking, is there anything of importance you want to contribute?
NOT WORTH IT! Software issues disconnect issues input issues all for $200. Maybe I got a bad one yesterday but less than an hour of play and so many issues. COMMON ISSUES IV READ OTHERS ARE HAVING! The size is great but the back buttons are bad also. It forces you to hold the controller a certain way and can be uncomfortable.
$200.00
😂😂😂
I'll stick to my Gullikit.
Seems overpriced to me for what the controller offers. You pay more for the brand name than the actual product (imho). I got a Vader 4 Pro and it seems just as good (if not better) than the Razer in terms of features.
If only they would make it in white
I'm surprised they don't, but then again, their Xbox controllers have always been black.
$200 for a controller and they didn't have the foresight to make it compatible with their razer branded xbox charging docks.
Everything else look fine.
$270 Canadian on their website - pretty rich for a controller. I think it would last a long time though if cared for.
@@kylerobinson6102 Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition. Same exact controller, but wired only and no case : $140 CAD.
@@arthby oh I already have one from a couple years ago. I think it's a wired V2? Fantastic controller.
@kylerobinson6102 Oh, I'm aware. Mine arrived today. Damn $300 after hst.
How is the connectivity? Does it disconnect or is it steady eddie? @averagejackmedia609
I’d rather have dual sense edge tbh Sony just improved the overall pc comparability so hopefully it’s up to par now.
It’s not sadly.
@@kingofsayians2224I’ll have to stick with wired for now than no biggie still worth it more for me personally
lol
The edge was always up to par. It’s the best pro controller on the market by a decent margin. This controller doesn’t change that.
This controller doesn't compete with that, hall sticks have their own trade-offs and market.
End of the year joke from Razer...so I ordered the GameSir G7 HE in response to this joke.
can’t wait to upgrade from my g7 se great controller but lacks so much high end features
Yeah, I mean it's noticeably more expensive in comparison, but at least they're finally implementing hall effect joysticks and slightly higher polling rates, although it's wired only.
Play CoD with a short stick and don't use the shoulder buttons. Why are you testing if you have no idea
Apex 4 for half price way better lol😂
there’s a wired version for half the price
Chinese cheap plastic can’t be better. Stop to misinformation just because you can’t spend 200$ on a new controller
@@daniele728 Misinformation lol
@@daniele728 lmao, 50$ Vader 4 Pro still better than this shit
Remap the extra shoulder button to live ping you bot itll help get your kd up 😂
Would I be able to use it on my PS4 since it has a dongle?
what would happen if you overclocked it? 😂
Hall effect sticks suck for fps games. The trend of them needs to go away
@@abelke nah you suck
They don't suck, you just don't understand them properly.
Whilst it's true that some of them are bad for input lag and precision, the better quality ones are miles better than any POTS joysticks.
Also, TMR joysticks are going to be even better than hall effect joysticks, so watch this space.
finally the controller we need. Its 200$... we dont need it...
The wired only version is 100 dollars
