I Tested a CHEAP 4-Season Tent

I bought the cheapest 4 season budget tent I could find and took it out for a winter test in some local woodland.
It started out well, with pitching the Vango Helvellyn 200 tent and enjoying a nice relaxing camp fire. However once I was inside the tent I could NOT get warm. I was in my Nemo Forte 20 sleeping bag, which is comfort rated to zero degrees (extreme -7). The temperature dropped to just 1 or 2 degrees and I could feel the cold through the bag.
My own schoolboy error for not taking my bag liner or any extra layers, but in fairness I didn’t think I’d need them…
Oh well, on to the next one!
