Great vid Andy, enjoyed that, i have the Hydra and its a fantastic tent, just a couple of things to mention in case you arent aware (please dont think im teaching you to suck eggs if you already know ) on the pole locators they are tensioning straps that can be loosened right off to make it easier to get the poles in, theyre not on every corner just one for each pole, once the inner is in it can be left in, its designed to be a all in one pitch tent, unless you want to seperate if the outer is soaking wet, if you need a footprint the helvellyn one fits, ive done a vid on it, also in a previous vid you mentioned the tent weighed 4kg !!😂😂 it doesnt it weighs 2.8kg still no light weight but i think its worth the weight considering its price and how bomb proof it is, shame about that liner i was getting all excited about that 😂😂 Atb Mick 👍

Cheers Mike for the heads up on the foot print, i defo need one. Weight i was just going on what amazon said on product specs. The tensioners i know about. But i will weight it myself with luggage scales. I keep inner and outer separate to distribute the weight on the bike. Thanks for watching and your comment. Subbed. Atb Andy

Bit short if you are over 6 foot though, and the inner flaps around a bit. Otherwise usual Vango quality......@@andyoutdoors4350

@@andyoutdoors43503 kilos tho? I guess you have to weigh up (heyyy) the pros and cons of the extra kilo vs more lightweight offerings. I know lightweight storm tents are generally expensive too.
Just got a Vango Heddon 200 walking pole tent which is under 2kg, but need to carry walking poles or else cut some hazel sticks. The latter is normally easy when lowland camping but not so much up on the moors. I might get a couple of dedicated folding carbon poles…
