fyi, for hard wood pallets many times the nails don't want to come out of the stringers. So what I do is spray the whole pallet down with water, let sit for about 30 minutes, then disassemble. The water soaks into the nail wholes and helps to lubricate - far fewer broken ends this way
Thank for that. You can use the rusty nails to make your own wood stain. Put them in vinegar. Allow to sit for a week or so. Then take out a table spoon full and mix with more vinegar test for desired color. You can get really dark stain or really light depending on how light you mix at the end. Happy creating.
This is what I'm gonna say.... 1. Screw the pallet Buster 2. Screw the saw method 3. Screw pry bars and shit like that. You sir have just showed a simple method ( very effective ) at taking pallets apart. And it didn't cost me anything in terms of a stupid tool hanging around after the job is done!! This is hands down the simplest method I have seen. THANK YOU
Been watching a lot of “palette” breakdown Videos , …. This is THE BEST ONE YET 👍🏻 great clear simple instructions and …keep up the good work 💪🏻, Bless you bro 🙏
This is hands down the BEST method I have seen on how to dismantle a pallet. Thank you for the time you are going to save me from now on and my back thanks you as well.
Great video! I saw a guy on his channel called JesperMakes who does the same thing except he uses a 2X4 to hammer the boards off instead of kneeling with the hammer and the small 2X4. It allows you to remain standing upright. That's the only improvement I can see. Thank you for this video!
That is absolute genius!!! Simple and elegant solution instead of all these tools that smash the wood! Wow. So impressed. Just a block of wood and hammer. Happy day!! Now I will give you a tip - use the Air Lock air nail remover gun with a small compressor. The 6 gal Porter Cable pancake compressor at 150 psi will do the job. Just shoot out those nails from the back and its very fast. Forget the claw hammer or crow bar. Thank you for the great tip about tapping the nails off, genius!
You earned a sub from me, brother. Stay blessed, and thank you for this video. It turns out I've been doing these pallet breakdowns 50% right. I was standing the pallets against a wall and hammering the boards out one at a time (your way is a million times easier). Thanks again!
I have tried everything, I thought... but this looks easy and it's so simple I don't know why I hadn't already attempted this method. I'll be giving it a go shortly. Thanks!
after screwing up half a pallets worth of wood, I found your video and now.. I'm so mad because it actually worked. My neighbors are probably pretty angry after hearing the sounds of rage outside because of this. Thanks.
This is exactly how I go about it but I use a bolt cutter to clip off most of the nail so there is less to hammer down and you still get a good grip with the pry bar when pulling. Great video my friend 👍
I've been struggling with this and sometimes get lucky and not have one break. I'll be using your technique. I will say that it's not a bad idea to put a piece of 1x2 scrap between the prybar and the wood to prevent denting the wood when removing the nails. Thanks for this video.
Those pallets you used are selected. You should demonstrate with differently made pallets and of different wood. There's a particular reddish looking wood which can even bend nails and the nails are very difficult to remove from it. Twisted nails are also used in some pallets which make it difficult. Some nails are either bent or bent and embedded in the pallets for rigidity and strength.
Awesome help this.Thank you.Ive recently started messing around with pellets and am now making sculptures with them which is very much fun and something I hope to make some money with. The ending touch to your video was the best.😀.God Bless
Awesome ending message. Thumbs up on the tips as well, I havebroken many of pallets out of rushing/frustration and impatience Be patient and build something! God Bless
That looks like the best way to break down pallets that I've seen using only readily available tools. I used a similar routine but by putting bricks under the pallet and jumping up and down on the pallet. I am adopting your way. Thank you very much. Thanks for the prayer at the end also. God Bless
Brilliant tip to use a lump hammer and an offcut of 4by! Was looking at one of those pallet busters, but just don't do it often enough to warrant the expense. Thanks for sharing.
I used this video as a guide. Thanks for posting. You definitely need the right tools and protective gear. I needed my husbands strength on parts of it to disassemble as it really is a tough job.
Looks like a good no cost way to do it. I tried making wood pallet buster and it did good for awhile till in broke in half. Will try your method today. Thanks.
Fantastic idea to disassemble the pallets! You were very calm with your demeanor during the presentation. Your reference to the Holy Scriptures, and reminder of the importance of putting our faith in Jesus Christ was heartfelt and sincere.
Just watched a bunch of videos and your way looks best using gravity to help but also amazed you’re able to step onto pallet and the wood on bottom doesn’t shift for you to fall.
Amen Dan!! This is the first of your videos that I have seen. I was looking at making a pallet stripping tool. If I happen to make it, I'll post it here to show you.
Dan, God bless you brother. It’s awesome using simple tools to glorify Him who died for us, 5 loaves and 2 fish. You used them, or better say, you allowed him to use your loaves. You have got the nails out, and our hearts in. Well done!
Showing how to safely take apart a pallet without much damage was amazing but the best part came at the end as a surprise. You are a Christ-follower and not ashamed to encourage others to discover the chain-breaking power of surrendering their life to God. Well done brother.
Really great way of dismantling a pallet… definitely gonna be trying this! Something else I find really useful is one of those cheap mechanics’ magnetic dishes, so you can toss the nails in as you remove them. Especially if working on your driveway or in your garage, you don’t want any risk of nails on the ground for your tyres to find :)

This is by far the best method for disassembling pallets I have ever seen
Thank for that. You can use the rusty nails to make your own wood stain.

After mixing w/ vinegar, what then? You just "paint" rusty vinegar on the wood as a water-based stain or are there other steps?
This is what I'm gonna say.... 1. Screw the pallet Buster 2. Screw the saw method 3. Screw pry bars and shit like that.

same here!
nevermind popping from the top - just pop it down!
Been watching a lot of “palette” breakdown Videos , …. This is THE BEST ONE YET 👍🏻 great clear simple instructions and …keep up the good work 💪🏻, Bless you bro 🙏
i think this is lke the 10th pallet disassembly video I've watched, and the only one that I actually have all the tools for lol. Thanks man!
Thumbs up for a great tip and mostly for an excellent Bible verse.
Thanks brother. You earned my subscription.
This is hands down the BEST method I have seen on how to dismantle a pallet. Thank you for the time you are going to save me from now on and my back thanks you as well.

Holy crap why didn't I think of this before. The answer is so easy! I was about to take a saw to my pallets.
Best pallet board takedown I've seen. Thanks Dan..
Great video! I love the scripture at the end of the video!!
Great video, definitely going to try this. Thank you for the scripture, it's important to remember God each day 🙏❤️
So easy I could learn in less than 5 minutes. You rock!

yup - i got one and it super works!! if you're taking pallets apart often, it's a must
I have watched about 10 videos on this subject, this is the easiest method, and it is also well explained. Thanks!

Can't believe it, so many video showing the same way to remove it and YOU, the most simple and effective unique way, tkx !!!
I have tried everything, I thought... but this looks easy and it's so simple I don't know why I hadn't already attempted this method. I'll be giving it a go shortly. Thanks!
I’ll definitely use your method. Thanks for the encouraging verse
You make it look very easy. Preparation is key. I also notice you have a good clean area, that is equally as important.
Liked and Subbed. This is the easiest method I’ve seen so far. Thank you for the content
I subscribed just from the outro. The video was good, but the ending was the best! Thank you, Brother! Praise the Lord!
after screwing up half a pallets worth of wood, I found your video and now.. I'm so mad because it actually worked. My neighbors are probably pretty angry after hearing the sounds of rage outside because of this.
Thanks.
This is going to help me take apart 22 pallets tomorrow! Thank you!
Amen brother, thanks for this video! You saved me a lot of frustration dealing with the disassembly of pallets.
This is exactly how I go about it but I use a bolt cutter to clip off most of the nail so there is less to hammer down and you still get a good grip with the pry bar when pulling. Great video my friend 👍

Great advice, Dan. But _best of all_ is you using your channel to expand the Kingdom of our Father!
Your Brother in Christ,
Danny

This is the 1st time I have seen one of your videos and I instantly knew you were spiritual!
Simple system. I wouldn't have started that way, so you saved me some effort. Appreciated your testimony also.
I've watched several videos giving tips on pulling nails and disassembling pallets, and this is the only one that is practical and effective. Thanks.
Awesome help this.Thank you.Ive recently started messing around with pellets and am now making sculptures with them which is very much fun and something I hope to make some money with.

Them pallets are so so easy. Can you do one that is really hard like a blue pallet ????
@@frankoneill4692 I’ve never worked with a blue pallet before. What’s different about them?
@@aregularguydoesstuff4157 Hi they are basically pulling apart without damage impossible. Very very strong 🤔🤔
I wish I could keep mine from splitting I don't have good luck with this. Thank you for the tip.
Really great way of dismantling a pallet… definitely gonna be trying this!
