This is awesome thank you! I just have a car and no truck so breaking apart the pallets I can fit all the wood in, and when I get them home they’re all broken down already👍 I have everything cut and dry fit and will weld tomorrow, can't wait. Heck, I'll even keep it in my trunk and I can take apart any pallet I see on the fly.
It turned out great! Thanks so much for helping me out with this, it is going to make breaking pallets down so much easier!
Hello Tim ,
I have been looking to build a pallet buster for a little while now and watching some videos. I just came across your video. You have been such a great help in my learning to weld journey, I will be building one from your design very soon. Thanks for all your help. Ben
So did it work for you? 🤔
@@Christophersanchez1326 Hello 👋 We have been very busy so I haven't had a chance to build it yet, but it is on my list 👍 I'll let you know when I do. Have a great weekend, Ben
Just made a VERY rough version of this. Worked perfectly on lighter and heavier pallets.
Thanks for the video and nice simple, but strong design. Planning on whipping one out in the next few days. Probably going to make it out of stainless because I'm fancy.. 😆 Well, that and I have access to a bunch of stainless and I hate Mig welding. Thanks again and I'm a new subscriber!!!
Great video, used a garden fork which works at a squeeze but this tool looks the job.
Enjoy your videos and glad to see your subscriber count is growing. Maybe do a shop tour or talk about some of your professional experience and how you got into welding?
Thanks! It would be pretty fun to share some of that. Over the years, I've figured out how to cram a lot of capability into the front half of a one car wide garage. :)
Great video! Thank you for this!
Very nice! Definitely gonna make
Nice step by step. Thanks!
Good idea, in one moment I will maybe make this thing. Thanks for sharing your invention with us =)
I wish I saw this video before I had to repair around 200 pallets . Thanks
Hey Tim, that was great. I am having problem pulling them apart.
Great video!!
What type of tube merging jig did you use to trace the cut?
Hey tim, could you tell me what the angle and dimensions of that head is
Helpful video, however there is a problem with the lifting arms spaced at only two inches. Pallets are not standard and have varying thickness's on the heavier structural sections under slates which means if you have a 4" under support this device will not work. I have made one with a 4" space to accommodate the variations.

Great video--thanks👍👍
Great video, what is the approximate offset angle for the handle? As with anything, it can be customized to the specifics of the build but just curious as to what you used. Thanks in advance.
I just eyeballed it, but probably about 10-15 degrees past vertical.
Could you go 16 gauge or you would you recommend 11 gauge, or anything in between? I’m new to working with steel and I’m not sure what gauge would be best. I’m looking to save money, but I want to be sure it doesn’t bend. Any information would be much appreciated!
What angle is the handle to the forks?
Epic lads. Epic 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
How much to make one for me?
watching this my eyes got damaged
if you send me a pallet tool I'll drop my law suit
