How to make PORK CHOPS IN TOMATO SALSA/ CHULETAS EN SALSA ROJA!❤

- In this delicious Mexican recipe, meaty bone-in pork chops are smothered in a wonderful tomato salsa gravy, this is one of my Ron's favorite Mexican dish, he often asked me for it, I hope you give it a try, and please let me know if you do.❤
INGREDIENTS
4 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick)
4 medium roma tomatoes
1 serrano pepper (optional)
1 small green bell pepper (cut in strips)
1 small yellow onion (julienned)
2 celery ribs (diced)
2 leg green onions chopped (green and white parts)
1/2 tsp whole cumin
1/2 tsp peppercorns
3 large garlic cloves
1/2 tsp dry oregano
1 bay leaf
2 & 1/2 Tbsp all purpose flour
pepper (to your liking)
salt (to your liking)
small bunch cilantro
2 C. chicken broth
3 Tbsp canola

OMGosh! Just made this for my Sons Birthday and everyone was amazed! I bought a granite mojechete bowl with the grinder to start trying more of your recipes! The preparation alone smells amazing! I have never had more tender pork chops in my life! THANK YOU for sharing this recipe! I served with Charro Beans and my own version of the Spanish Rice-a-Roni using canned Rotel Tomatoes with Chili's and extra cumin. My Son and Girlfriend and Husband all loved this recipe!

I grew up in the 1960’s and my Mom always made us pork chops but they were the thin ones, bone in. I make and eat them fried to this day more for nostalgic reasons. My husband brought home thicker chops from the market so I thought “how would Rachel make these”. I woke up this morning, found this video, had all the ingredients and made them. Oh boy, we absolutely loved them. This is now my go to recipe for pork chops going forward. Sorry Mom😢 (RIP).
