Truly a masterpiece you young body tech are something.....make a old body tech wish he was young again.....my name is Al Davis I grew up in a body shop....my dad's back when he used lead.... Wish he was still here to see today's generation body men.......by the way this is my wife's phone......and at 68 years old wish I could hang out with you young men.....my specialty was on the frame machine....one more thing I'm pulling for you guys and subscribed to your channel thank you
Thanks so much Mr. Davis, I appreciate it a bunch! Paint and body is something I picked up because my friends owned a shop and they offered to give me a summer job so I can learn. One of the best decisions I ever made. I’ve learned a ton and it’s been an absolute blast! I’ve watched tons of videos from you geniuses from the prior generation, so nothing would be possible with you all! If you’re into crazy cool builds, I watch someone on UA-cam called bad chad customs, he’s an older guy but man oh man the things he builds leaves me in disbelief. Hope you have a great one my good sir, thanks for the comment!
This is of the finest Mustang body swaps I have seen on UA-cam. I have seen over 5 different mustang body swaps and none of them had operational windshield wipers. Something so simple and yet these body swaps couldn't make it happen.
Thanks so much man, That means alot! I Definitely tried my darnest to get every detail functional and operational no matter how much time or difficulty it gave me. Believe it or not, the wipers was actually one of the hardest thing i had to do on the car haha. The 66 mustang wiper motor interfered with the 2018 mustang dash so that was a no go. The 2018 mustang wiper motor was massive and went where the 66 mustang cowl went, so that was a no go. So i had to cut the cowl out, install universal hot rod wiper motors with a cable driven spin tog et the mechanism to work. And in doing so, the windshield opening got too big because the pressure of the 2018 frame was pulling it apart, so i had to use like 4 ratchet straps to get the a pillars back close together haha. Fun time haha! But hey, definitely worth it! Now i can wipe my tears away with how much of my youth and money i spent on the car.
At first I wasn't a fan of the side pipes but on this build it looks really good! probably the best body swap build so far. The wide body makes the car.
Thanks so much! Side pipes were mainly to make the car appear lower and to make it louder. More of a cosmetic thing to also look a little different. I appreciate the kind words!
Respect! You’ve really gone all the way. All the time consuming detail work. The windows going up and down quickly, all the modern amenities, the sill covers, the hood latches and mounts . . . I could go on and on. Great color choice, too. I personally would prefer this beautiful creation without the rear spoiler. Well done! Thanks for sharing.
You guys did the body work and all!! Not going to lie, when I saw the side skirts at first mock up I was like: “nah” and then you totally REDEEMED yourself with the side pipes!!!🔥 awesome fab work!!
Thanks man, I appreciate it a bunch! Haha yeah I was stuck on figuring out what to do about the side profile for literally months. I made 4 renditions of side skirts, changed the side exhaust mount about 5 different times, and even no i ordered 4 inch exhaust and im gonna try it with the 4 inch pipe and try and do some nice pie cuts/welds or something to try and get some cool looking welds. So pray for me haha

Thanks so much! definitely cost quite a bit in parts, but fortunately the 2018 mustang i had bought was salavaged and didn't have a title so it worked out perfectly because i got it for a really good deal.
This is a beautiful build just too notch work. Casey from Casey's customs is building one very similar to this in every way same wide body same body swap same from diffuser only this is currently he still has the V6 he has turbo charged it and done some other stuff however he has always said it will be getting the Coyote engine swap so it will be just like yours. Great build thank you for sharing it.
Very nice build. Have to admit I was a bit skeptical at the start of your video BUT was very impressed with your final result. It would be great to see some street videos of this car.

Awesome!! Just what I’ve had in mind modern everything and classic look. With a Coyote engine awesome!!! I guess I don’t need to waste money on upgrading parts if I plan to do this eventually 😂
This may well be one of the better body swaps I’ve seen! If your going to do it do it right never understood the tiny fender flares on some of the other builds
