This is of the finest Mustang body swaps I have seen on UA-cam. I have seen over 5 different mustang body swaps and none of them had operational windshield wipers. Something so simple and yet these body swaps couldn't make it happen.
Thanks so much man, That means alot! I Definitely tried my darnest to get every detail functional and operational no matter how much time or difficulty it gave me. Believe it or not, the wipers was actually one of the hardest thing i had to do on the car haha. The 66 mustang wiper motor interfered with the 2018 mustang dash so that was a no go. The 2018 mustang wiper motor was massive and went where the 66 mustang cowl went, so that was a no go. So i had to cut the cowl out, install universal hot rod wiper motors with a cable driven spin tog et the mechanism to work. And in doing so, the windshield opening got too big because the pressure of the 2018 frame was pulling it apart, so i had to use like 4 ratchet straps to get the a pillars back close together haha. Fun time haha! But hey, definitely worth it! Now i can wipe my tears away with how much of my youth and money i spent on the car.
At first I wasn't a fan of the side pipes but on this build it looks really good! probably the best body swap build so far. The wide body makes the car.

I made 4 renditions of side skirts, changed the side exhaust mount about 5 different times, and even no i ordered 4 inch exhaust and im gonna try it with the 4 inch pipe and try and do some nice pie cuts/welds or something to try and get some cool looking welds. So pray for me haha

This is a beautiful build just too notch work. Casey from Casey's customs is building one very similar to this in every way same wide body same body swap same from diffuser only this is currently he still has the V6 he has turbo charged it and done some other stuff however he has always said it will be getting the Coyote engine swap so it will be just like yours. Great build thank you for sharing it.
Nicely done. Only thing I would change is putting the stock seats back in. Have never been a fan of the bucket racing seats as they made for small guys.

The toughest parts is alignment of the panels and getting fit and finish, but getting everything to just mock into place isn’t too bad at all. Not to mention, you have all the commodities of modern tech like AC and stuff
@@FurhadBuilds it's tough. I just want my dad to rip a 1-2 shift and burn some rubber. He's 73 and not doing great. We bought the car when I was 15 and never got to build it so now I'm rushing to get it going. I have all the replacement panelsl to replace my frame rails and everything already. Hopefully I can get it driving and then make it look pretty later on in life.

I think you’ve got the right idea, get it running, let him have the time of his life and make those memories and then you can make it look pretty later. That’s how nearly every full restoration build goes too. I made the mistake of getting impatient and wanting to see the car painted after like 70+ days of straight body work with no breaks and I ended up regretting it because I had to drop it back off to get sprayed and had to redo some body work. So I think you’ve definitely got the right game plan, wishing you all the best! There’s no better day to start, than the present

Yo yo, big fan of your work my dude! Been watching your stuff for a while! Love the Porsche and big Bertha build! Wing I made out of lexan myself, front spoiler I made myself using the stock front spoiler as the base, added about 4 inches and molded it to the fenders using fiberglass

Ive been in the process of building my own but 67/18 for over a year but how did you get the windshield wipers in the stock location!! And absolutely amazing car I have watched this build probably 100+ times haha 😆.
Haha no way! Crazy small world! Glad to hear you’re working on a similar build. I used universal hot rod windshield wipers that use a cable type mechanism, i had to cut the cowl off and reweld it in place to do that.

Ive been in the process of building my own but 67/18 for over a year but how did you get the windshield wipers in the stock location!! And absolutely amazing car I have watched this build probably 100+ times haha 😆.
Haha no way! Crazy small world! Glad to hear you’re working on a similar build. I used universal hot rod windshield wipers that use a cable type mechanism, i had to cut the cowl off and reweld it in place to do that.

Thanks so much. Hahah, yeah man that's about 2 years of work in this videos, it took so long to sift through all the vids, it drove me nuts! That's a good question though haha, gotta save up some money because now i'm broke. But i'll definitely start one soon. I finished up a wide body subaru brz too a few months ago that i haven't posted any uploads (just waiiting on paint to finish) and also did a 69 camaro restored before which i may upload some vids of. But a new build, hopefully a 60's chassis swapped AWD truck or GT40 build AWD
