Great tutorial. Is there a limit to how much overhang you would do this for? At some stage the extra seams would be visible from behind when the pants are worn.

Hi, great question!
The smaller the better, so while placing your back panel you still have to utilize as much cloth space as possible to make this attachment narrower. I would say, when finished the triangle better be rougly 6-8 cm wide, depending on a cut and size of trousers.

I'd use your best judgement. No hard limit, obviously, but some prefer to avoid using one in a new pair at all.
