Hi, I did my tailoring apprenticeship 40+ years ago and worked in Savile Row, London. It’s good to see a young person sticking with tradition. Good to see the wood block in use. Our irons had no steam and no thermostat so we used a triple layer pressing cloth, 1 layer light weight cotton, one layer pure linen and one layer light weight wool which we would dampen with a ‘swab’ we never burnt any garments as the pressing cloth would always burn first.
Thank you from the US for this very detailed tutorial! So many small things I never would have thought of. Your English is great as well. I am trying to learn to sew trousers as I can never find what I want in stores. I am so glad to have found your channel and hope that you are safe. ❤️🇺🇦

Hello Queen. My name is Moses from South Africa. I'm impressed by your tutorial on men's welt pocket. What kind of pocket bags and lining do you use? Because I can see that you don't use trouser belting, and your Waist belt is thicker. (That's the kind of Waist I wanna specialise with). Thank you very much.
Thank for kind words. I use 100 percent cotton pocket bags and non adhesive interlining. for waistband I use same interlining plus canva ( which used for jackets as well).
