We lived in Wuhan, China, 2016-2018 (before the virus). While it's rapidly growing and evolving, there were definitely areas that looked just like this, filled with trash, feces, etc. And the air pollution is exactly like this, hazy, etc. We left when we had our first child so she could grow up away from air pollution.
@H H The first year we lived off of Dazhi Road, near line 1 and Wuhan no 2 School. Jiang'an district. Lots of construction and trash around there as they rapidly worked on a new metro line. The following year we moved to Binjianyuan, near Hankou Jiangtan (off the yangzte river). Older apartments, nice park! But still no escaping the air pollution. Right beside the park is a pet selling area with breeders and shops and a vet. We bought our Shiba Inu from a breeder there, and vet there saved her life from a disease she got as a puppy. While the folks in the pet area were kind to me and the service great, the conditions were horrid. Some of them would treat the dogs and cats very harshly. I'm from Delhi and the condition of my city is not very different in terms of air pollution but one big difference between Lahore and Delhi is that there are lot of trees everywhere in Delhi but can't see that in Lahore. Why government don't plant more trees. It helps a lot in improving the overall look of the city and does not require too much money
The trees are more of herb category, Delhi needs taller & dense leafed trees & trees which enrich oxygen like Bamboo, etc. Further, owing to proximity to Small scale industries in & around NCR region & adjacent states and staple burning issue in Punjab, Haryana & NCR region, the situation is weird. However, respective state & central govts are serious about 2 G Ethanol, BioCNG & Green Hydrogen from agricultural wastes/ residues as well as from sewage & municipal wastes

My heart hurts for the children growing up here and the elderly. Even for the stray cats! How sad. Could be such a beautiful place.
My anxiety has spiked just watching this. It’s amazing how people adapt to their surrounding and even though this was chaotic and just madness most of the time to me, this is reality and every day life for millions of people. Just thinking of the way the food was prepared, the trash and sewage all around makes these people superhuman to survive.
How did they adapt exactly? From what I can see, these people show zero respect to their surroundings and are not putting in any effort whatsoever. They are puking in the sewage, leaving meat out in the open for infestations, driving everywhere and throwing diapers and garbage on the floor. If by “adapt” you mean they became as vile in behaviour as their surroundings, then maybe. Only some of the citizens seem to be doing anything.

Masks doesn't bring much. Is a big propaganda fraud. Your breath everything unhealthy back and normal OP masks do not protect at all because virus way to small and FFP2 are very unhealthy when longer worn as 6 hurs usually only used by certain construction workers and you needed an atest by a doctor to be healthy enough to wear them that long. Also these countries cannot afford 100% hygenic masks for everyone everyday. They have much bigger health problems with lots of diseases but not covid.
Because they don't know better and are poor.. wearing a mask is the last of their worries. That's why it amazes me why people complain in the US about wearing masks, while in other countries they wish they could.

We lived in Wuhan, China, 2016-2018 (before the virus). While it's rapidly growing and evolving, there were definitely areas that looked just like this, filled with trash, feces, etc. And the air pollution is exactly like this, hazy, etc. We left when we had our first child so she could grow up away from air pollution.
come on wuhan is a modern city ffs are you for real i studied there for 4 and half years
@H H The first year we lived off of Dazhi Road, near line 1 and Wuhan no 2 School.
Like I said earlier, fecal matter everywhere in the walking area there and most pets were in these haphazard cages.
@@fraolgudeta2877 Yeah, it's modern in its amenities. Fantastic public transportation (which, America... yeah, it sucks and is non existent because of dumb car culture). But I'm not B.S ing here.
Because it's constantly going through am intense construction period, there's tons of building trash all over the place. They try to clean up the streets with those big water trucks but they've got a long way to go.
In addition, the feces issue was mostly found in the pet areas (at lesser for me).

Overpopulation isn’t the issue imo. Uneven distribution of population is
I visited Islamabad in January 2020 and it is the completely opposite of Lahore! The most peaceful, breathable and green city I’ve ever been in!
I was thinking of visiting but this video makes me not want too, seeing your comment however maybe I will go
@@DarrenHoussein lahore and faisalabad are actually overpopulated cities with weak and corrupt ministers so they became dust hell but if you visit islamabad murre swat kaghan Peshawar and many other cities of kpk you will find peace and healthy environment
They have weed 🌿 growing naturally on the forest. I love it
Try visiting Karachi it is actually way worse than Lahore 😂
So true I have been to Islamabad too and it is breathtaking❤💙
Makes where I live look like paradise
I am so happy to have discovered you channel!! I been binge watching all your videos. Great content with so much detail and information. Nothing held back. You’re going above and beyond for us people who aren’t brave like you!
Same here!
Me too
But that's literally a place of like 14 million people , so can't understand what's brave in visiting the place tbh
@@Madara_Uchiha69420 yeah of people that were born and raised in an area as such. I was fortunate not to have grown up in an area like that. So for us something like that is a place we wouldn’t even think about stepping foot in. So yes it is brave of him to go.
@@MsBelvedere12 No I take it that you're just to soft .How can you be "brave" just by visiting a place? .If we would think for 1 minute from your perspective than all the parents that are changing baby diapers, all the nurses that are washing paralyzed people from their excrements and urine and milions of rural people that are cleaning the stables manually with the shovel from all the excrements and urine of the bovines are also " BRAVE " .
Just saying, unless you're to softie, just facing some dirt for a few hours like this guy did doesn't have nothing to do with being brave, but he does make informative and good content for sure .
I was looking at Lahore on Google Earth while watching this, it is absolutely incredible how densely populated it is.
"Breathing here a day is equivalent to smoking 15 cigarettes"
Me who smokes 1 cigarette in a day: Helt📈
I smoke almost 20 every Wednesday and Saturday 🤣🤣🤣
We are proud lahoris, because air pollution is more good than mind pollution. Western society have polluted mindset.
Me- smoke 7 cigarette everyday 😂
@@rahilabatool286 🥲🤣🤣🤣🤣....me watching from Lucknow 👀🌝👻🤣🤣
These conditions are terrible! At first I thought the commentary was funny, but as I’m watching! I now understand!! Sheesh this is no way to live!
That was exhausting to watch, I cannot imagine life on a daily basis there, and wondered if you and your team found decent lodging or if you perhaps stayed elsewhere, stay well, seems like one could be exposed to every contagion possible there, and the air quality was beyond bad or horrible.
Lahore is a very developed city, atleast 70% of it is. It even got its own metro and is a huge economy. This guy went into old walled city of lahore which has narrow streets and low development and poor people mostly and showed it as whole of lahore. Lahore has every thing from marriot, pearl continental
@@XtremeFun Lahore May Be Devoloped
But Here We Are Talking About The Bad Side Of Lahore
@@mintusab9525 it seemed like the person was trying to show this 30% part of old walled city as whole of lahore though

its that only part a very small part of it
Where I live, once or twice a year, in the summer the smoke from forest fires causes extremely bad air quality to the point that it's dangerous to go outside at all. It usually lasts about a week and blows away though. I can't imagine living with that level of air quality basically all year round
We experienced a similar problem when the Canadian forest fires smoke was blowing into New Jersey and New York..it was a mess...I can’t imagine living with that type of situation every day
@@rosemaryrogers1478Canadian and yup, those fires last summer made the air so orange for 1-2 weeks. Having that ALWAYS would be crazy.
@@s_fashionlover we felt the effects in New York City...sky was indeed orange and hazy for about four days
The forest smoke is still better than smoke from plastic waste and chemical factories and the dust from roads.
One of the hilarious slap for the public of Pakistan 🙂💔
That’s embarrassing? That’s not all
Next is Delhi
@@MrUgly-gb8nr yes our Delhi is also polluted but not major part , the major pollution is air pollution not land pollution
