- This story is crazy. I traveled to a rural village in Ethiopia to track down a woman, named Muluwork, who claims to have not eaten in 16 years. Not a single piece of food or a sip or water. And on top of that, she doesn’t use the bathroom!!! After spending a few days observing her fascinating life and interviewing dozens of her neighbors, friends, and family members - I must admit that her story is pretty convincing.

I’m really curious to get your thoughts on Muluwork’s condition! I was not convinced until I spent 2 days with her, interviewed everyone that I could find in her village, and heard about her doctor visits in Dubai. And I must say, there’s no real evidence against her claim - maybe she is indeed a superwoman?! Please share your thoughts in the comments below and let’s get this discussion going!
Oh, come on, man, don't post stuff from fraud-artists. If she's not in a North Korean or Chinese dictatorship with closed-circuit TV cameras on her all the time, we can't prove that she was NOT eating. Not eating or drinking would have been a good trick to know for those Chinese girls killed in orphanages by being locked in a room for days.

Sounds boring. Eating and drinking are a delight.
I only eat 1 meal a day for an entire decade now. my body has adapted a long time ago. I can't imagine eating 3 meals a day -like that's too much food and too much time spent cooking and eating. Life is SO much more than that.

Agree, I also eat like that. But that's VERY different than not eating at all, as she claims to be doing and as other breatharians do.
Of course I don't know what the truth of the matter is when it comes to her specifically, but I would just remind people that there is such a thing as breatharians (people who live only on tne energy in the air and sun, which is also innately in us. In the east this energy is called Prana or Chi and it is viewed as the part of God/Tao/Brahman/All that is/Being in us).
I have personally visited India 17 years ago and visited an ashram (spirit-loving commune) with a man who claims to have not eaten for 23 years but lives solely on the prana/energy in the air and sun. He stares directly at the rising sun for about 15 minutes every morning and 15 minutes directly at the setting sun. Direct eye contact with the sun (safe to do when the sun is at a low angle in the sky, just after sunrise and just before sunset).
The rest of the day his skin is exposed to the sun most of the day.
He does a lot of prana-yama (yoga breathing, meant to utilise the prana in the air and activate the part of God within us) and many other yoga postures, and chants really beautiful sacred Hindu chants in sanskrit.
He is barefoot all the time and in direct contact with the earth.
He sleeps shortly after sunset, wakes up naturally shortly before sunrise, and doesn't use any electronic devices.
He was flown to Germany for medical checks and verification, and was under 24/7 medical supervision by doctors there for several weeks and they confirmed his claims (though they had no medical explanation for this). This visit and medical checks in Germany are fully documented and can be seen at the ashram. There are also official records in the German hospital.
He sleeps in a very simple earthern room (made of clay/mud) on a thin bamboo mat on the floor with other people in the room, so there is no possibility of him sneaking out to the ashram's kitchen - which is 100meters away from where he sleeps - to eat at 3am 🙂 many people would have noticed if he did that. and like I mentioned, in Germany he was under 24/7 medical supervision.
Of course that doesn't mean anything about this woman's story, but I'm just mentioning it so that people are aware that breatharians do exist..
Same as me for around 15 years now. One meal a day by choice because I feal like it's a waiste of time.
I find that it's pretty common for ppl to only eat once a day. I only eat once, but not really intentionally. It just happens to conveniently fit into my daily schedule that way.

Listen to your bodies - it will tell you when it wants to eat and what it wants to eat. If you’re not hungry, no need to eat.

Sadly the loons watching this only want to believe, what they want. Many medical professionals have requested to do tests and this has been rejected by her gov. Which leads anyone with an ounce of logic to come to a logical conclusion that this is a massive scam.

The doctors forced glucose through her blood stream when they knew she was pregnant....I believe that was a big mistake.... Just like she miraculosly fasted for 16 years and counting, who knows what other miracle we were going to witness. Sometimes, science does't know shit!

She said the child needed IV fluid and was given after birth.But naturally it doesn't make sense.
The video said something about her getting glucose during pregnancy from doctors. I'm not sure if injected or through swallowing, but still that's not enough nutrients. I agree, the child being healthy is the biggest miracle! I mean children lacking just one vitamin, folic acid, causes extreme brain deformities and those children don't live past a few hours.

In this clip, it shows her excusing herself many times. To get the mattress, tie her hair etc. She could chug a sneaky mouthful every now and then, no one would know. I'm sure she is very well hydrated and drinks a lot when no one is watching. She also probably just eats very very little. There is plenty of opportunity to take little mouthfuls here and there when cooking and gardening.

Better idea would be to take her for a trip through some isolated areas in nature and all the food would be weighted and measured. So everyone would have to write how much grams/ml they've consumed and by the end if something is off it means she consumed something. This way she would have her share of fun and others would know how it really is. Of course one of the people would have to stay up the whole night to make sure she doesn't hunt/gather food.

I am Ethiopian and I have heard her story on EBS (local media) years ago and she said growing up she was struggling a lot in life and sometimes being starved is one of them and one day she asked God for a food because she was hungry but God on the other side make the starvation go away and she never had to eat from then. Not everything is explained in science. Try to see it from a spiritual perspective.

I don't buy tat every brother or sister who has asked God to provide food for them frim testimonies I have heard he provided, no I do not believe this of God only the devil would pull something ike this, she is not in a situation where she is being starved her family eats, I believe is she prayed to the Father in Jesus name to deliver her from this he would.

Muluwork is very happy to not need food or drink of any kind. She loves to cook and feed people who need nourishment to live, but she has NO desire or need for food. She would not be special if she had to eat. She's like a Heavenly being who doesn't need food or drink. This miracle is one of many signs from God, that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and God lives in Heaven, our eternal destination if we're good and kind like Muluwork.

@@user-pg3qr2wk7h on average, a human can only go 3 days dry without water. Dry meaning the clock begins 24 hours after your last sip. The food bit is irrelevant at that point. If she made it a week without water, that is already reason enough to be impressed. Whether she has some weird 1 in a billion way of metabolizing things through osmosis...IDK lol. But liar or not, a week without water is beyond the the ability of 99.9% of us.

Going without water involves going without food too since water is still in all food (excluding fully dehydrated man-made things). I met a Qigong teacher in China who did not eat for close to 25 years. She credits this to her qigong practice. I was at this center for over one month and never saw her eat. She did, however, drink tea. I understand that it happens to many qigong masters and teachers. On one trip to China, where I practiced intensively for over one month, I too lost my appetite. When I returned home, I kept up my practice and stopped eating. I called my Qigong teacher and asked what I should do. He said to not eat as long as I didn’t have an appetite. When I had to go to work, I was unable to do four hours of practice today. This is when my appetite came back. Living on energy or what they call Chi is very much a possibility.

Any student of physics knows it takes energy to do work. We normal humans derive energy from the food we eat through digestion and assimilation. There was a woman named Therese Neumann. From 1923 until her death in 1962, Therese Neumann professed to have consumed no food other than The Holy Eucharist, nor to have drunk any water from 1926 until her death.
From her calm demeanor we can see Muluwork has no guile or ulterior motive. All she does is good. This is a gift of God to this humble servant and to us blessed to see it in this video.
Whether she is being truthful about this or not ...... she seems like a very gentle & kind soul. I wish her and her daughter & her community much happiness and love. ♥💜💛

I lived off water and apple juice for 3 months. I have cancer. My total taste for food was gone even though I wanted it. When I would try to eat I would vomit it back up even juice and milk. Hard time for me. I believe her. With God nothing is impossible.

When I was 23, i lost my appetite for 3 weeks but my energy level was the same as before. I felt totally fine. I just eat and drink a little because other people don't bother me. And after a while the appetite came back.

I think that she deserves an additional and completely documented trip to a reputable doctor with 100% supervision to determine if this is true or a publicity stunt. If what's happening here is legitimate then the world itself as a whole would benefit from even further studies into her condition.

For those of us who fast you already know those first 3 days you be all edgy, and moody, but after that stretch your flesh begins to submit to your spirit man. But this Woman of GOD has been without natural food and drink for 16 years.Thats why she was so pleasant to you and your team, because this is her lifestyle and no flesh can dwell. GOD has given her the water that will never run dry. Instead of looking at her as someone who is empty, look at her at being full, She is full of divine food. I've noticed a lots of people calling her liar but that's human nature. Anytime we come across anything beyond our basic logic and scientific explanations, we tend to disprove them but it shouldn't always be like that.
Isn't it more likely she is just a liar? It would be easy to prove by putting her in a metabolic ward and tracking her weight. If true, she's not only a medical miracle but she violates the laws of physics as we know them.
That is because if we can not demonstrate something independently, then there should not be a reason to trust/accept as fact.

Would you have believed anyone showing such characteristics, if they haven't been discovered? There's always a first time for everything. @@leachville3001 they do say that doctors monitored her for a week, but one can definitely dry-fast for a week, some people do it for several weeks up to one month. so all that being sad, she'd have to be monitored for longer.

It's called being a Breatharian. I have done 5 days with no food or water. I am working towards 1-2 meals per week. I only have 1 meal a day for a few years now. I don't think I will ever go full Breatharian. Your body feels better and you sleep less. When you get enough time in the sun and earthing, we don't need to eat to get our energy. Its comes from the natural source. Most people far over consume, as we are taught to eat so much to keep us in slaved. It keeps our bodies having to process the food and not able to spend that energy in our minds. The mind works better the less we eat. Try it. And there are many Breatharians in the world. I seeked out a bloke in Varanasi India some years back, he would be turning 128 years old this year. Granted he was eating food, it was basically just dahl, rice and chapattis. Not even fruit. His name is Swami Sivananda and I personally met him in 2018, he is known as India's oldest man. He still does yoga and walks around like a typical 80 year old Western man. He has also met with the Prime Minister (of India).
I can't say for sure that the claims of this woman are 100% legit, but she certainly has a gentleness to her and I will say there are things in this world that cannot be explained by science. Glitches in the 3D matrix you could say, I mean science cannot even explain where consciousness comes from, it is known as The Hard Problem of Consciousness. Yet it is our most basic fundamental experience.

In Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity fasting days (with in one year 250 fasting days in different season) we fast more than 18 hrs ...we are allowed to eat only between 3pm -8pm for this reason she may develop stop eating at all. God is great all the time💕

You guys are very gracious. It’s always comfortable to watch your videos. And this has really sparked an interesting conversation. She is lovely and peaceful and I love that she has a deep faith. She’s also so flexible without any thought. Cooking on what seemed to be a hot plate on the floor. I think furniture does us a disservice. We forget that we are strong and flexible. Also, she has no kitchen with an island and recessed lighting, yet she’s peaceful and provides for those around her. A really beautiful and thought provoking phenomenon

I am Eritrean. I have seen it twice in my life. The problem is, that people are trying to explain it scientifically instead of spiritually. What i saw in the past, in a village , was true story . So this could also be true .

I met a woman in Switzerland who was very similarly humble like Muluwork but she must be in her 70 ties now. She did not tell anybody in that course of family constellation that we attended that she does not eat. However when we walked back to the train station I asked her if there was something special in her life that might be interesting to tell me about. So she shrugged her shoulders like well, there is nothing really special that I could tell you except for maybe that I dont eat since many years. It goes completely unnoticed here in Switzerland. If you are interested I could ask a friend of mine who probably still knows her name.

What a sweet family. I feel bad for her being interrogated like this tbh, but she seems very well put together and has lovely people around her, so I hope she's doing great ❤. She's a sensitive soul, and so were her family, I could tell. So gentle. The bearded white man was interviewing her in good faith I believe, but the other man seemed to be disbelieving and I felt her energy shift and I feel bad that someone with a rare condition needs to prove themselves, it's exhausting. This story was aired more than 7 years ago. This girl was a house maid and the family who hired her were very much concerned about her not eating and if I remembered it right, she was let go back to her village and the guy from Addis heared about her and went to visit her. This word goes out to local authorities and they think it will be a good tourist attraction for that remote area. The local authorities built a house where she can stay and see guests. I beleive the girl is not lying but its is beyond scientific explanation. if a person fall from a high rise building let us say 10th floor and survived; I thing we just call it a miracle or a lucky person, same goes for Mulualem, she is as honest as that beautiful village we saw on the video.

Guys, I'm from Ethiopia and I first heard about her story almost 10 years + ago when she came on a famous talk show. Then I didn't believe her because back then she claimed she hasn't eaten for 3-5 years(I dont remember the exact claim but it was years). This story is now getting momentum and I for one believe her. Scientifically and medically, yes its not possible. But lets be honest, science also confirms that there are a lot more things that are unknown than that are known.
Edit: listen guys, I don’t know how she is able to do this, but if its possible I want to know hiw as well. Why don’t people test her, she never said no you know. Maybe we will discover something we didn’t know before.

Everybody is accessing prana. The thing is some foods that we eat have none or sometimes our bodies can't extract the prana from what we eat. She is getting hers from sun and air, which we also get but she doesn't take in any other food and that is some advance yoga stuff that she is just doing naturally.
my biggest hung up is how she conceived and birthed child who doesnt have the same condition she supposedly has. Her daughter wouldve needed sustenance from nutrients the mother eats, and even if she develops her mother's condition later in life, how did she go 9 months in the womb with no nutrients and still develop a body that (currently) requires her to eat? And Im surprised no one asked about whether she menstruates, since that would require bathroom access. The interview seemed very unprepared and they shouldve brought more qualified people to conduct it, like a physician or someone trained in the medical field who's knowledgable on the human body. And if there was something relevant they would have mentioned it. They clearly said that she never liked food in general. There was no big moment when she lost interest in food. She is just like that and always has been.
I do believe her, I've experienced the same thing, and I had to teach myself to eat. Most of the time I feel so much better when I don't and I get a surge of energy and healing that I can't explain. This taught me that fasting heals the body, and most of us are sick from eating food. I healed myself just by not eating and It changed my life. Ive once fasted 22 days straight first 8 days i drank water, never near a gallon. The last 14 all dry no water, and i felt great. No hunger and i broke the fast not from being hungry only because i felt i went long enough. But since that fast i realize that as children of God we're self sustainable, we fell when we started eating.

The carbon dioxide we exhale is a direct product of the food we consume. She has been exhale CO2 for 16 years with out consuming food, where is the CO2 coming from. If she isn't exhaling any carbon dioxide, it means that she isn't breathing in O2, Oxygen is released to cells from Haemoglobin, as the absorption rate of carbon dioxide is increases.

She's probably getting all her energy from the steam and smell coming from the food she cooked (Energy is neither created nor destroyed but transformed from one state to another). (it is very clear she loves cooking). Such incientances are common in many traditional homes in Papua New Guinea (Pacific), where ladies who cooked food often lose their appetite to eat, after prolonged inhaling of the steam coming out from the cooking food and soup. I just never heard of anyone living on steam (only inhaling of steams from food) as a source of energy for 15 plus years. Those, I know, often ends up eating later on. There's probably something special about this Ethiopian lady.

The reason that happens is basically from smelling food all the time. Your appetite disappears because your brain gets tricked into thinking you ate. You’re still just as hungry, only difference is you don’t “want” to eat.
(I happen to know this feeling quite well just because my metabolism’s too fast & eating makes me sick, then the food’s gone after a few minutes)

I barely eat, and I feel strong and with a lot of energy, it is will what keep you going, when you start ignoring hunger you can control the obsession of eating, people may be afraid that they will die if they don't eat many times a day, that doesn't happen, you actually take away many things that stop you on your day if you stop eating, all those toxins, grease, weight that your body had to pull every time you move, all that goes away, you end up being lightweight, agile, fast, and full of energy, and you gain control over the temptation of pleasure that don't allow you to do many things because you have to be pulled to pleasure, once you get rid of the temptation of pleasure you are free to do other things.

They tested her as well, locking her in rooms under strict observation and she didn't eat or drink at all. Hi, I have met Jasmuheen from Australia, I met her in Germany about 1995 and I believe she has not eaten over 10 years, as of our meeting in Munich. She told me, there are more then 1000 people on earth, who never eat anymore
I have met also Jasmuheen, in Belgium when she was on a tour. She claims to live on "sunlight" (prana-energy) alone. I took her aside and questioned her under 4 eyes; she said she lives on chocolate... So always be skeptikal to extraordinary claims!
Chocolate has many calories, I believe evenrybody can live a long time on that, also on fasting... But in the end she has to get proteines too...

Yo! I kid you not....! Yesterday I was walking my daily walk sun gazing and I was thinking if it is possible to survive without eating or breathing I thought about two particular animals that can survive without oxygen which can go into hibernation mode and I wonder if you could do the same with real deep meditation or with your mind... is it possible totally surviving on pure sunlight and BAM 😅 this video pops up for me... People who base all their belief in science want to disqualify this woman. Not everything is to be understood with the logical mind. The earth and life is not that shallow. This is spiritual and you can tell the woman is in tuned.

I'm extremely open-minded I've seen some wild things on this planet on various levels of reality but when you are in physical bound by flesh as we are there are restrictions to what that physical body can do. I also can read faces accurately; she is a compulsive liar. Your view of in tune is actually work in witchcraft/black magick. She is a deep feeling soul, she has suffered grief and loss and rage from the bottom of her heart but that goes for most of us and she's still a compulsive liar and you can see it in her eyes.

My mother is one of the best cooks from my island in Canada, she served at the hospital over 30 years and people would literally go to the hospital just to eat her food, the thing is, she doesn't like her own cooking, shell eat a small piece of cheese in the corner and watch while people devour her food lol
