  • I will never forget what I saw in Burundi!
We are in Burundi, which has been the poorest country in the world almost every year for the last 62 years, according to the World Bank, IMF and many other official institutions. Burundi has a population of approximately 12.5 million people and the average monthly income of a working citizen is around $15 there. One out of every 3 citizen is unemployed. Welcome to the world's poorest country.

though it's very noble of you , it's not a very good idea.
you see.. if you buy each and every one of these people the equivalent of what YOU eat in a day, they'll die. their bodies are conditioned for starvation because they've been living this reality for so long.
they have conditioned their lives to eat just the bare minimum amount of food need for survival, and for most of them that's how it's gonna be for the rest of their lives unfortunately.

Duckdad you right I feel the same way, but horrified that the country of Burundi is poor because the powers that shouldn’t be like America and her European sisters spend a good amount of their budget on military stuff, not for war but to keep Mother Africa poor, and millions of people die just so we can be extremely grateful for the life we have, compared to Mother Africa citizens and Black people all over the world every other ethnic group have not experienced what Black people have had and still do suffer still today, Mother Africa is blessed, she has never started a war or invaded another country, and people marvel how nice and joyful they are in the mist of dire poverty, hunger will make you steal and for America and her friends for material gain, have lied killed and destroy the the lives of African women children and babies just so the elite of the world can be billionaires while the middle man American politicians not only enjoy the stolen wealth but get up every morning to go to the office to make sure the thievery doesn’t end and it’s very easy because it’s Black people. So while I am humbly praying for the change which will happen justice will prevail I am most grateful to Mother Africa and her citizens for the sacrifice of their very lives for the lives of others, Thank You and shalom

I am from Czech Republic. People always complain about their lives here all the time. How poor we are, how government doesnt take care about us. But we are earning like 2000 dollars a month approximately. But we have the most expensive smart phones, houses, cars etc. I shed a lot of tears when I saw this video. We are so rich that we don't even know how really poor people can live a happy life. More happy than we do. This is the saddest thing i have seen in years. I currently live in Burundi, born there, this is all true, i'm one of the privileged to born in town, imagine in these Times of covid i graduated in 2018 with a baccalor's degree in ICT and Still no job and hustle to make just a living like anybody else you see here in this documentary ,because i educated myself due to the internet access i'm sure to have most pertinent information than 95% of the country,i taught myself english that sometimes i Ask myself why i had to born in this country rather than hundreds of other poor countries which are not the poorest because i Saw the different lifestyles that people has in most of the countries in the World but After all i consider myself lucky to have the information, at least i Can dream of a better day, many here dont even know what's happening or happened 200km from where they live for their whole life.remember,be thankful for everything you have whoever sees this.

Wavukiye muri ville, lucky you brother. So it's a privilege to be born in Bujumbura, come on brother those who made it were born in the rural areas like those little kids. And a diploma or degree in Africa means nothing if you are staying home and doing nothing. You go to school to gain knowledge, so that you can use it in your life of every day. If you don't get the job you went to school for, do you have to stay home and do nothing? These people in the video were not privileged to go to school like you but they have got more work and life experience than you. The day you start understanding that life is not what you want or what you were trained for then things will change in your favour. Your problem is those words "privileged to be born in town", just because you were born in town does not mean that you can not settle for less like those not privileged to be born in "TOWN". YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE TO GET SOMEWHERE. Today you are sitting home waiting to get employed, why don't you go to your parents land and farm while waiting, use your knowledge. Search on the Internet for work in the East Africa Community. That document it's just a piece of paper, you need work experience. You might be between 30 to 35 years and you haven't worked in your life and expect work to come your way just like that. You have never worked under pressure, to put food on the table of your family.

      PLEASE LISTEN..
It doesn't matter if you are some famous, rich movie star or one of these poor kids in Africa. The human race is born into this world with a deadly disease. Every man/woman is sick with a terminal disease. The disease is SIN. What is sin? The transgression of Gods law. Sin is any failure to conform to the moral law of God in act, attitude, or nature. We are all conceived in sin and born in sin. No matter who you are, you cannot escape the reality of your condition. What is the proof of our condition? Death. Death is the great equalizer. "for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Genesis 3:19 The wages of sin is death. The soul that sins shall die.
What is the cure for our terminal disease? We all have one disease and there is only one solution. The solution is outside of ourselves. We need another life; a sinless life. The son of God came into the world to give his sinless, spotless life as a ransom to all that believe on his name. The son of God came into the world in the likeness of sinful flesh to live a perfect life as a substitute for all believers, bore the sin of all believers, absorbed the holy wrath of God for all believers and died. On the third day, the sinless Lord of Life abolished death and brought life and immorality to light through the gospel.
What must we do to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved 🙏.

But it's still true that Sri Lanka is in a bleak financial situation. I pray for my brothers and sisters there that things improve soon. (I'm from Japan by the way, but our economy isn't looking too good either. I guess we're all in this together.)

It's always been heartbreaking to watch "families and children" starving. And often, (watch the LDS comments now) the families are ordered by governments, if they want 'aide", the husband must leave the home? (USA). Now, Is the "answer" to send toys to children, or to start doin what the smart people in china started decades ago, and LIMIT the AMOUNT of children allowed to each"family?" . Watching children starve is only a symptom; of the problem, isn' t it ? The whole problem of child starvation (and some trafficking?) could be in that upside down Cristian ethic, now couldn't it ? At least when sex rules in Hollywood, the children are well-taken care of. I knew that would open up a can of worms of discussion, sorry-just that we know many Christians don't believe in the birth control pill either. There's one African mother of 34 children, asking for help to support her "family," though the fathers OF her family have all left for new wives ? BIG WORLD PROBLEM.

My friend from Nigeria says, "All are rich in America... even the poor live like kings." That's what her first thoughts were when driving away from the airport upon arriving in the United States. It is all so relative. What she could do with a nice piece of clothe or two, was stunningly beautiful. Next to my mother and grandmother, she and her children were the hardest working people with the highest standards that I have ever known. She called American schools "play school", and her children did extra math, science, and reading at home everyday. Taught me a thing or two, I must say, and I deeply admired her and her family very much.

America is really that rich. The problem is that the people are either drug addicts or lazy ones. If you just get up and work you can surely live whatever job you make. Unlike poor countries, even you get a job, you are still so underpaid.

My country is a poor country too. From what I observed, the main cause of poverty is the corrupt government and leader. It doesn’t matter how much resources a country has, if they cannot manage it well for their people, there will always be poor society. It includes the government to provide basics needs for the poorest and good education so in few years they’re able to help themselves and then boost the economy.
