Can't fool the dogs and you're a fool if you think law enforcement don't get bored or on their brakes look up secret hiding spots for when they do their searches
hatting topper not sure if you know how dog searching works bud. There nose would have to be right up to it and that’s if the person doesn’t spray the drugs with something strong enough to block the scent or if it’s a man made synthetic drug which dogs can’t really smell because there are over 3000 of them.

@@simonolsson9706 wrong even when you vacuum seal something it's not foolproof to the dogs because every object has what is called a scent cone which permeates outside of the object itself even when sealed look up cent cones on Google and type in search dog with it there is no way yet to fool the dog

I hide my money in a lint roller from ikea, slide down the sticky part about 2/3 of the way and you’re left with three separate departments for your bills, just fold them and then slide it back up, it’s still functional and no one will guess you’re hiding money there.

If the USB is not powered, it should survive perfectly fine. USBs can become wet or even submerged completely and still work, just make sure you dry it in rice before re-use.

The money should be placed in a bag before being rolled onto the ink cartridge. If the sharpie gets wet, hot or broken, you have ink soaked banknotes, which you can't legally spend.

All these places can and probably will get forgotten about over time. I once thought I was clever and put $60 into a paper towel tube. When the roll was finished, of course I threw it away. Did a dumpster dive and never found that money. When ink goes dry in Sharpies, when tv remotes no longer work, or when one moves out of their home, who will pull the floor vents up or the toilet lid off the back of a toilet. Sorry. Love your ideas, but this one can lead folks down a chancy path.
What would be the point in hiding something so unimportant that you would forget about it? If you hid cash somewhere that you forget about why did you hide it? It wouldn’t make much sense to just hide something and then forget about it, it’s most likely meant for something you hide and access later and then either put it back or use it for something else

Why not keep cash secreted away just in case? Hell, even a normal power outage makes cards & banks in general completely useless. WHEN we have another weeks-long power outage, (Think Northeast Blackout of 2003, where my area lost power for about a week and a half) having cash on hand means you can keep your family supplied.
Also, from experience, some USBs can, and do, survive going through the washer and dryer. Repeatedly. I wasn't good about checking my pockets in high school. I can't speak for all USBs, but I haven't ruined one like that yet.

One of my all time favorites is to use a light switch. Unscrew the panel, hide, put the panel back on. Worked so well I managed to hide a few things from myself!
