Hi, just got a 2023 330i xdrive but it won’t open the exhaust valve when in sport mode, I even coded in Sport+ mode with BimmerCode and nothing, do you know how to solve this?
The pressures can change and adjust depending on the conditions usually they are in the 35s PSI range though. You can look this up inside the vehicle and it'll let you know what it prefers in terms of PSI.
Great question, a dealer's parts store would have the best answer for that. I agree that it is quite narrow for a performance car like this one. Just going a little bit wider would make it look amazing and suit it's personality better.
Hi and thank you for this video ! Just got my new 330 i a week before Christmas and i love it. However, is there a way to disable the greeting/goobye action completely??
Hey Deb, not sure if I answered your question already. Inside the settings menu there is a setting called POP UPS in there is where you would go to turn off the greeting / goodbye
330i hands down. Couple reasons, 330i would have more power over the 420i engine. 330i Msports also have stiffer suspensions which makes hugging the road and turning feel very sporty and nice.
How do you change automatic to manual gears, in order to shift gears with the pads on the wheel? Since you don’t have gear shifter to go from left to right?
Hey Pedro, great question. Here’s a couple scenarios. 1. You can use the paddle shifters while you’re in drive to change gears, doing it this way will only hold the gear for about 15 secs or so. This is good for quickly passing a car or getting on to the highway. 2. If you are in Drive and PUSH the shifting lever down one more time to go into the S mode, now if you use the paddle shifters, it’ll automatically do M shifting mode which will hold the gear for as long as you need to. It basically works the same way as previous BMW’s, instead of moving to the left to right, you’re just moving it down one more time to be in the M/S mode.
Thank you for the information about pressing voice command to bring up Siri. For the life of me I couldn't figure out why I couldn't call my contacts in Apple car play.
@@BeamerView yeah I figured kinda of a let down I’ll buy a cheap lip to see if it’ll fit. One last question do you know if the kidney grills are the same size? I’m trying to buy a blacked out grill mine came silver unfortunately. Also thank you for the reply!
@@slayx9193 Kidney grilles are different as well. That portion too has been redesigned, has different flaps for the active grill and even the spokes in the grille are double spoked now.
I never owned a stick shift personally, and like anything it would feel awkward at first. But I will say that it is much more practical this day in age. Eventually you will get accustomed to it. Also keep in mind that many bmw's have paddle shifters so that is also there if needed.
Hey Luca, I had someone else mention that so I can give it the benefit of a doubt but as far as I know, and even before the LCI, MPE exhaust was always and upgradable option.
BMW kinda got rid of adaptive lights. Their lights these days are quite wide so your options are either going to be standard headlights or the laser lights which come separate from the M sport package. You can know if your BMW has the lasers because it'll have the blue bits.
Agreed, wish it was a option that was included in all cars. I am starting to see it more and more now which is good for the newer cars. I have seen honda civics with this standard too! But truly an amazing feature.
Also the have you seen the lease pricing on these?! $900+ for a m340i do better bmw can’t blame it on the chip shortage anymore. you had a record breaking year in sales.
Agreed, I will say that the M340i is quite the valuable car amongst all driving enthusiasts. BMW can’t blame it on the chip shortage agreed but the market is willing pay a pretty penny for a vehicle that can almost keep up with the M3 and do it in a more practical day to day basis.
@@BeamerView a report came out that stated bmw will keep the prices up and demands low to increase profit. It all comes down to corporate greed. And don’t get me wrong I love bmw. I have one but unfortunately it will be my last since my current 330 fully loaded($550) is now over $800 a month.
@@Fittednocap Agreed, companies will always do whatever they can to maximize profits which is bad for us and paying over 800 a month for a 330 is quite absurd as well I can agree. I personally think they will only manage this for a year or two max, at the end of the day competition will still play a big role and that will always drive prices down.
I love my 2019 330, but the idrive sucks. I've learned how to get it to do what I want most of the time but it's like the wild west when I use voice command. Voice command has a mind of its own. I give it an address and it makes a phone call to a stranger. I could go on but with the 2023 more dependent on voice command does not give me a warm fuzzy feeling about future bmw purchases. I know many people who have left bmw in order to get away from idrive.
I can see the voice command giving you a hard time during that year. I believe 2019 was one of the first years they introduced it, and even though updates take place it was quite buggy being a new design. I will say I've had some time to play with the new voice command, it hears my voice pretty good even though I have a stutter haha. I will say iDrive 8 does need some time to adjust and needs a couple updates. The software itself isn't perfect yet but I have confidence that it will be after a year.
If I was working all these years I would have a bmw of my choice but shit went side ways for me so some of the cars I want to buy in my life are on hold I hate Canada I hate racist Alabama I hate people that treat me like I’m not human and I hate people that think I cannot handle the best of the best
Do the two driver Seating Assignment buttons (for seats and mirrors driver positions) also save the custom individual driver settings for the radio, dashboard settings, and motor/transmission drive settings? Anything else?
Those settings will save to your driver profile or BMW ID they now call it. Very important to have that set up first. They will save to your ID automatically

how do you turn on foglights? In official specs it says its part of the adaptive lighting, but I cant see a button to turn foglight on
For the new gen vehicle like this 3 series, there isn't a button for it. It's a feature built in as you mentioned.
How to turn it on then? @@BeamerView
No button for it, usually when you turn the wheel all the way to the side it'll pop on. @@kennyli5838
