- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- Today we are sailing from El Nido to Coron Island in the Philippines with Tao Philippines a Filipino sailing company.
Watch part 2 here - • 6 DAYS IN PARADISE 🇵🇭 ...
This is NOT sponsored and I paid the full amount of $750++ for the 6 day trip so that I can document the full experience and share my true experiences with you all.
Never fear however as the trip was absolutely incredible from start to finish (only a few bumps in the road) which I will talk about during this two part mini series.
This series was filmed in February 2023.

Good for you Paddy local island people.
hey paddy, may i know the title of the song ur background music starting from 3:52? thank u 😊
its giving ancient malay-polynesian
try siargao island philippines
750$ is 4x cheaper if you sum it up , instead of hotel , you are in a sailing boat similar to a cruise, food included and the view while you are eating, sleeping, swimming and sleeping , maybe you are smiling while you are sleeping dreaming you are in paradise. A pure adventure and exploration! You feel comfortable knowing you practically know each other from all over the world!! Indeed it’s envying and inspiring to live life in this way!!
We did this trip years ago and we’re sooo proud seeing the Tao family is still florishing. Theu’re so cool and important for Filipino community
Absolutely paradise. Ill be adding this to my bucket list of places to visit and see once i go to the Philippines, I just love South East Asia. The drone footage for sunset was just beautiful and yet again your amazing
Thanks Paul mate!
May I know what's in your bucket list of places to visit in the Philippines so far?
I would head to the Philippines just for that adventure! that is incredible. Well worth the expense I say! You were wonderfully respectful with the new passengers/friends you made regarding your camera. Looks so peaceful!
Bucket list stuff for sure Shane
👍😁👌🤏👏😜
Enjoy your trip.
This is in my bucket list, next time I go home in the Philippines
Philippines is awesome! i´ve been there twice. and planning to go again....
Protect this Paradise at all costs! No to mass tourism.
I agree. The cost of this trip is what's protecting it for now.
for the start dont travel and no one is forcing you to come😝
@@wilmorelacatan1014 The cost of the trip is actually similar to the daily expense of tourists in the Philippines. They have to pay for hotel accommodation, food, recreation, transportation. That Tao expedition will cost around $125 per day. A tourist going somewhere else in the Philippines will be spending the same amount per day.
Yes
Woke up in Toronto Canada on this fine Spring day. Opened the MacBook to revisit yesterday's recording session and voila! Transported to paradise Paddy-style. Relaxing! Energizing! Thank you for a fine start to the day! Can't wait for part two of this episode. Cheers! dcb
Enjoy!
this expedition gives "moana" vibes.. that boat with its traditional carvings speaks soo much of the culture and history of the country.. Filipinos are pacific islanders who used to have beautifully carved boats that sailed the seas surrounding it.
The boat looks like a completely different boat from what I usually see around the Philippines (much more look like a pirate ships from Carribean, enter Captain Jack Sparrow here hahah). Very intricate design, love it. Congrats Tao Expedition Team!
It's called balangay boat
You're kinda right though... This is the kind of boats medieval Filipinos use to to raid coastal communities as well as trade with them... It's called a "balangay" or "baloto" depending on where you are in the Philippines...
No matter or what the events or situation you are in (in the Philippines)...just look at those amazing sceneries of different places & you'll forget everything & think you're still LUCKY how fortunate we are...life is too short to think of the negative ones...We have to live for the moment & enjoy life. Keep Safe Guys always. Love the amazing views /Scenery.
This is one of the best presented Tao expedition from some of the groups that experienced it, the details of the scenery was not neglected day by day, the narration, macro and micro photography and cinematography skills and of course the journey, it will remain a bucket list even for us locals...thanks again mate.
looks like the 2nd half is not too great of an experience. I wish he still had a great time though
@@ELEAByahera We haven't seen it yet so don't assume.
@@ELEAByahera probly just a lil hiccup, it happens
The drone footages are superb!
The most unique travel adventure in the Philippines, without a doubt! Thanks for the soulful vlog.😀
There should be a warning before this video starts "be aware, you want to book this trip before the video ends!!!" This is the best thing I have seen from the Philippines, so far!!!
make sure you check when h rainy season is....Best to come is between March - May
End of December to May are the best months for traveling in the Philippines
Hiya Paddy. Loved they had a sea dog. What a life. Getting cuddles from so many people.
Insane views from that beach. Awesome drone footage. The colours are insane.
Love the camp. The wristbands are a great idea. Amazing how they have extended the boat.
These are good tips for others needing a wet bag.
The perfect music with incredible footage.
Wow, gave me goosebumps. The drone footage for sunset. Insane.
Very envious of your travels. Thank you for taking us all along.
I love being a member.
Off to watch part 2.
Enjoy ❤❤❤
@@PaddyDoyle. hey paddy, may i know the title of the song ur background music starting from 3:52? thank u 😊
Thank you Paddy for showing how beautiful this country is. Looking forward to your next vlog. Stay safe always 🙏🇵🇭❤️
Epic Video Paddy. This is why I love you. This is the kind of video I expect to see on your channel. Just stunning!!! Please make more videos like this mate. Seven hundred fifty dollars really is not a bad price when you figure the cost of a week-long holiday at an all-excusive resort. I have a great boss; he takes us all on a week-long holiday every year in a different place in the world every year. I am going to suggest this for sure. Fxxx the boss I am going to book this trip right now. You won me back on this one mate.
Ah thanks 🙏 ❤❤❤❤
try visit balabac islands south of palawan, its a next level paradise of beaches, sandbars and marine life. Try to visit Caramoan in camarines sur province..another next level paradise..its where Survivor (American 14 episodes) was held. Survivor french edition was also filmed there.
What a quality vlog you have Paddy! I`m just speechless eventhough I also have been to El Nido but this trip you had and all the effort you have given to this project of yours is amazing. I just love your concept which is so different POV compared to others. The quality and your dedication- it shows from every angle. Keep it doing Paddy! You can bring even aromas and smells to us through your videos. Definitely the best travelling vlog in the world right now! Hello from Estonia!
What a fantastic trip...amazing views and the food looked stunning. You are so lucky enjoying these wonderful experiences 😁👍
I am indeed and had to share
Tao is great. Their people and camps throughout Palawan are fantastic. Though the trip experience tends to depend on your group. Mine wasn’t as chill as I hoped as it ended up being more of a booze cruise with a very young Euro crowd. But again this is a great and well run tour company.
This video is incredible Paddy! I just uploaded my videos from El Nido where I also had to launch the drone from a boat and land it again - fully understand how scary that is so massive kudos for managing it and capturing the stunning footage of the boat!
The Philippines really is an incredible country and thanks for capturing it so well - can't wait for part 2 🇵🇭❤️
Thanks 🙏
Even Paddy’s beautiful shots don’t do Palawan justice. This is one that should be experienced first hand 🤩
Soft white sand, clearest of sea water, sunshine and dancing palm trees. The most beautiful sunset to die for. Enjoy the sight and sound of paradise. Welcome to paradise Philippines.
Paddy -- It appears that travelling the PH is a microcosm of life: there are good things as well as bad. Nothing is perfect but there is perfection in it.
Best way to describe the Philippines 😮
6 months is not even enough to really understand the real Philippines and the Filipino lingos and mentality. I think Kulas(canadian) and Kumander Daot(welshman) will tell you.
Wow!! What an amazing tour. It looks like it's worth every cent. Now onto part two 😊
Yes it was! Enjoy ep2
The people on the trip with you are lucky to have you documenting it so well. They will be impressed when they see the finished product
What a paradise. Another thing to add to my bucket list. I think 80% on that list are coming from Paddy's adventures. I just love South East Asia.
Haha my pleasure 😂
wow🇵🇭♥️✌️
@@Ravishing_Mr_Perfect The Survivor series was filmed on Bagieng Island, when the TV crews are filming no tourists are allowed on the island!
@@roygoad2870 , ok. my bad.
Great Content Paddy! NEVER SEEN THE PHILIPPINES THIS BEAUTIFUL!!!! 12:56😀
Philippines is really starting to shine and word is getting out now 🤩. Thanks to UA-cam and instagram. Here right now and everyone is extending their visas 😅
Well, the Philippines have always been underrated for the longest time and being snobbed by most foreign travelers. Better to be underrated than overrated!
@@symph2000 Well that era is over now 😎
well i hope its still the same .. let them go to other countries in SE asia..
hoping that this place will always be a hidden gem with commendable and responsible tourists let them go to other SEA countries. Philippines is definitely my gem.

Paddy, just before you started this Next Level Adventure in the Philippines, you'd stated how different this series would be, and to be honest, it scared me - the reason I like your adventures so much is for the way that you've shared your adventures with us, so I was a bit concerned I wouldn't enjoy this series as much. I could not have been more wrong to think that, Paddy. You're skills, experience, personality, and just professionalism at sharing things with us is again proving to be "Next Level" at changing how you share adventures with us. This series so far, has far exceeded my fun, my (dare I say) closeness to you and the surrounds that I feel with every new vlog in this series. It's like before, I felt like I was standing right beside you during the good, and bad parts of your adventures, and again, you made it seem like I was right there with you, although due to the obvious difference of not feeling the mud, or the sand beneath my feet, or the rocky mountain terrain, or the heat, humidity, bugs, cool breezes, warm ocean waters, or the smells, and the distant sounds a mic can't pick up, I still madly love watching your adventure to see and 'feel' like I'm right there, and where you're bringing me (ok, us) next. I just enjoy your videos so much, Paddy, it takes words out of me to express how deeply connected I feel to the areas you're in. I do miss some of the contact with locals your earlier adventures seemed to show so much of, and I hope you'll bring that back since you just seem to hit it off so well with so many strangers-and natives-you meet and talk to during your time adventure seeking. Also glad to say, I'm trying to arrange/prepare for retiring to some SE Asian country within the next year, and hope that it happens and be able to actually do it. I'm pretty sure it WILL happen, and am going to do my darndest for it to happen since they say, you can do anything if you put your mind to it, so I am doing just that to MAKE it happen despite my FEAR of 'doing' it. Again, Paddy, I LOVE this series, and how you're presenting it, looking forward to hear your next big hit song and singing talent, and wow oh wow your helper is doing an amazing job of 'tweaking' the sound to make you/it sound Pro-Level, Every time you sing, it instantly reminds me of that vlog with you dancing at that gas pump, boy oh boy did that make me chuckle in enjoyment watching you pump gas and dance, love it! Stay Healthy, Happy, and Safe, My Brother, and Friend, and hope someday I can eventually meet you in person and be actually standing right beside you in SE Asia somewhere for a click of the glass/beer bottle and have a drink. Cheers.
Thanks a lot for that amazing comment. It’s great to hear someone gets it and connects to what I am experiencing and expressing 😍
WOW! That was cinematic. More gorgeous than what we see on Jurassic Park. Outstanding camera you're using.
What a great adventure at sea. This is a must-do for me. The boat looks like it's from the movie Water World. Ok, bring on part 2. Did the Sea Dog have a name?
I forgot the dogs name haha but he was my little buddy
Dogs name is Amo 😊
Definitely worth the cost and trip for that experience. Mind & body restoration at its best 👌. What a priceless experience ❤🫶🇵🇭.
Palawan alone has 1700 islands. Wherever you go in palawan it is paradise like the baLabac group of islands. Cuyo, roxas, san vicente, taytay, linapacan. Glad you did the tao expedition you were able to showcase the not so explored part of el nido to coron.
yep. To put it into perspective, that's more islands in that one province than in all of Thailand. And most islands in Palawan are undeveloped and uninhabited.
Hi Paddy, very jealous of you, one of this days, I can bring my family, thank you for your beautiful vlog, “GOD” bless you
Wow that place makes postcards look bad! The boat reminds me of something from the movie water world with all that character. When you break down the cost of what you're getting over x amount of days it actually seems like a really good deal. P.s. I can't believe he was going to take your drink haha
On this cold and dreary Monday, this made me want to run away and be a pirate! 😆☀
Haha 😆 batten down the hatches let’s go
Same Here in Switzerland So Damn Cold I want to Run Away to a Tropical Countries like this One Life is Good 🙏✌️✌️🙌
Best thing I did in the Philippines, maybe the best thing I ever did on any holiday. I did it on the blue boat you see in the end. Absolute recommend.
Also the best food I had in the Philippines was during this trip
This vlog gave me goosebumps. It really is epic. I’m traveling vicariously through your vlog. I’m excited for part 2. Not skipping ads so we’ll be able to watch more videos like this.
Wow! Of all the Philippine travel vlogs I’ve ever watched, this is one of the best, I must say! ❤ Just seeing those aerial shots with the traditional sailing boat is already mesmerizing! 😍 It feels like you’re bringing me back to the old Philippines where my country is more beautiful. I love history and watching historical shows, that’s why. 😅
Thank you for this vlog, Sir. Thank you for visiting our country. 😊
Philippines is very beutiful
One Word To Describe This Tao Adventure Vlog…EPIC!
I love your way of storytelling like David Attenborough vibes…nobody does it great like an englishman!Wherever you are Paddy right now, remember to come back to the Philippines and have another series starting from Batanes to Tawi Tawi!
Wow…the price is like going on a Caribbean cruise! However it’s truly magnificent!
Glad you found the tour "absolutely incredible". ᵔᴗᵔ
I think next to Palawan, Batanes is every Filipino's dream destination here. It's like Scotland or New Zealand in a tropical setting. Only a few get to go there though. They say the air fare is quite expensive. I guess that's why it's not promoted much by our Dept. of Tourism. Not many foreigners know about it.
Foreign visitors will not be really impressed with Batanes, as it's quite similar to some Europian countries but with a tropical climate. They'll be more attracted to white pristine beaches and lush marine life for activities, such as swimming, snorkelling. and diving.
@@ironorchid true
Batanes tops The 10 Most Beautiful Asia Destinations in thetravel website.
Even the foreign vloggers who chose to live here (won't mention their names but they're Europeans) were blown away by Batanes when they went there.
@@ironorchidwrong..
it's not always the place that makes your journey becomes beautiful & wonderful.
It also includes the People , their Culture , Belief & Traditions...
Batanes is one of the 'Gem' of the Philippines... but it isn't always a place considered as a 'Gem' ...
It's the 'PEOPLE' , their CULTURE, their Unity & Peace , Their Beliefs & TRADITIONS..

Great video Paddy!! i will definitely head to the phillipines .... stay safe
Gentleman, el nido is one of the nicest places on earth. It really is as good as it looks in this video. A few hours from the airport and it's dead cheap. Highly recommend
Actually, no photo or video can ever do justice to the islands and beaches in Palawan! That's how beautiful and magical they are in person!
"living in the post card for a moment" I like that!, I am from Philippines and cant even afford to travel again in such an amazing places like this here, save travels Paddy!!
What does your arm tattoo represent? What a beautiful sleeping situation!! 9 hours of solid sleep sounds like paradise, but on a warm tropical paradise, I would do that right now if I could!!
It’s an anchor that I drew many moons ago
Your vlogs and production are grade A - the commentary, the drone shots and the soundtrack. There's nothing comparable on TV. You should have a netflix series. Best travel documentaries i watch.
Wow, thank you!
Very cinematic and gorgeous shots. Welcome and enjoy your stay in the PH. Your vlog speaks a thousand words about our islands. God bless you.
Wow. 6 days of sailing, island-hopping and sleeping on a beach, P5,000 (around $100) for liquor, freshly cooked hot meals, all for just $700/$800. that is actually a very, very good deal.
One of the most beautiful places on Earth....Lucky you!
The views are simply miraculous, am so envious...
❤ If not for the vloggers, I will not know how beautiful my country Philippines is. Thanks bro. For showing us part of our country. And to all vloggers that are inside our country both Fil/foreigners, I say thanks ! and thanks for helping our people and the economy of our country.❤❤
Exactly. These travel vloggers have actually given me a greater apprieciation of our country too. And yes, they help a lot in promoting our country's tourism that's why i also support them. I esp. love those who even chose PH as their 2nd home (and there are many of them) coz that is an even greater testament that PH is livable.
The best in the world to experience white sands, clear blue water and the sun shines; go visit the Philippines! From beautiful beaches to inland rapids & water fall. The cold mountain of Sagada; the rice terraces; the beautiful brown skin women and the great hospitality will make your visit unforgettable! Try visit Dumaguete, Cebu, Bohol, the Cordillera, Siargao, Boracay, Bicol region, and among others.
Woooooow 🤩😍
It’s Beauuuuuutiful! I am a filipina but I haven’t gone that far in my travels in my own country. Amaaaazing views and horizons❤
Thank you for liking my country.Take care and enjoy.😊
Feels like I'm watching a movie. Amazing cinematography and soulful story telling. Makes me wanting to fly back to my beautiful Philippine asap. Thanks Paddy.
Im from the Philippines but migrated to the US. When I retire I'll be back here and maybe I still have the knees and back to do this.
This is the best of the best🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Welcome to the land of creation pal.
The view is like in a jurasic park,
As if I am watching Noah's Arc sailing in the ocean. I feel like I am in ancient time every time I would see TAO expedition.
Another Awesome Adventure Paddy Doyle Thank You🙂
Cheers Paddy for a lovely video peace and happiness on your travels
we don't mind if we are not the most visited country... Less people less mess!
that pirate boat tho, way to make the experience cooler rather than some modern ones. hope they can last for years (i have no knowledge about boats)
Sand bars during low tide …only in the Philippines 🇵🇭
It’s like you join in a reality show SURVIVOR 😎❤️
Funny you mentioned Survivor as different international versions of the TV series were shot in Palawan. At present, I believe Survivor Sweden is currently filming there.
@@bryantpark88 that’s awesome 😎! I can’t wait to get back to Coron, el nido😊❤️ Absolutely breathtaking 🤩

Awesome Paddy. TAO means people or person in the Philippines. WOW!
PERFECTION 🎉🎉🎉❤
Awesome view indeed watching from saudi arabia originally from Philippines 🇵🇭
Hands down. This is the BEST video you have ever made!
Oh you got the paraw. Ours was a different boat. I remember the monkeys and did you meet Sebastian the big black dog in one of their bases? He could swim for sure. He swam out to greet the boat and climbed up on board. ❤ And he followed for a short hike and climbed steep stairs of a bamboo hut on stilts over the cliffs to watch the sunset with us. He's one of my favorite memories of that expedition.
Wow
I thought to do this trip later this year and now after seeing the video I want to do it much more than before. Hope I'll succeed. Really curious about the second part 🏝️🏝️🏝️
Feb-May is the best time for the ocean activities, as it's summer season. June-Oct. are rainy season, with unpredictable weather and island hopping can be cancelled anytime without advance notice. Nov-Jan. has an occasional rain and storm, with not so small waves.
So beautiful I’m from the Philippines but I’m based in California, I haven’t been to Palawan
A transcending moment in every seconds of your journey beyond the world called paradise...the gold of your pocket you let devoured is just a fraction of fraction of what you witnessed and experienced you will never forget in your entire life...be grateful....be blessed....because it's a bliss...🎉
I'm surprised there's not alot of sharks in the Philippines 😊

Loved it ! Really terrific ! (& of course, very well filmed !👍) Glad for you to be experiencing such a beautiful time ! ( but I'll bet there were times when you wished "Ms. P." was along !). Looking forward to the rest of your journey ! 👍
Hey Paddy, one 20 min video a week not enough!! Loved it more when posted 2 or more??
this is more like spiritual travel and adventure.
This is so beautiful. The water is so blue and clear…Probably the best so far you have visited. ❤
wow !!! wow !! wow ! What perfect timing ! I am researching how to get from Coron to El Nido for early July !! I am on Palawan for 3 weeks, plus a week around Manila and a bit North ! Any tips Paddy (apart from the wet bag)? And also what happens to your suitcase/main bag - is it on the boat ? Keep making your awesome content ! 💜💜
Warning: low season is low season because when it rains during rainy season, it pours, especially on the west. It's El Nino this year tho so it might be drier
@Arvin thanks for the warning. I am always in SEAsia at this time of year. It is early in rainy season so just have to hope !
Plz visit north korea 🇰🇵🤣
