It was also clearly shot in multiple takes, the camera man throughout the whole video avoiding (sometimes unsuccessfully) catching any shots of people looking over at him. The purposefully chosen depth of field creating a fuzzy background also greatly aided in this attempt. If he had an amplified setup, despite being at some kind of theme park or carnival, you can bet your bottom that he would have started drawing a crowd - which, of course, would have ruined the point of the shoot in this particular case.

Perhaps it just goes to show that the majority of people like cr@p music, whereas people like us, who enjoy good music, beautifully played, are unfortunately, in the minority.
This is still one of my favorite UA-cam videos. I usually come here for the music, but sometimes I get into the idea of how much it is possible to be unnoticed by people. I feel great respect for the professionalism of the guitarist, personally, I would definitely stop in some kind of rush to touch the beautiful if I heard such a thing nearby.
Lmfao! If there isn't some kind of cinematic trickery here, and people were truly so oblivious to your performance, then this video is even more extraordinary. To perform a unique arrangement with such skill while simultaneously capturing a crowd so collectively detached is quite impressive, despite a rather tragic message.
I can barely tap the top of my head with one hand & do circular motions on my belly with the other in rhythm, to play 2 guitars feels like having the skills of a drummer using 2 hands & 1 or both feet, bravo!

My guess is they just shot it a bunch with that in mind. Most of the people are behind him and if he isn't amplified then most people will just see some dude stringing on two guitars with a cameraman. Thats something you glance at with an odd face and move on from.

My guess is they just shot it a bunch with that in mind. Most of the people are behind him and if he isn't amplified then most people will just see some dude stringing on two guitars with a cameraman. Thats something you glance at with an odd face and move on from.
