DESCRIPTION
This is my arrangement of one of the most popular songs ever: Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Some people might be tired of hearing it over and over again but I love the song and I wanted to make my own version of it. Meg and I shot this video in a big warehouse (link below). I hope you enjoy it.

@@AndyRoidEU Not everyone’s skill is in songwriting. His aptitude with the guitar and making cool arrangements is more than enough to be a well recognized musician.

Uh, that was 3 guitar parts (Ed King, Gary Rossington and Allan Collins) , Leon Wilkinson's bass parts, Artists Pyle's drums, even some of Billy Powell's piano bits AND he plays Ronnie's vocal lead at the same time.

Well to be technically correct ( and as we all know that is the best kind of correct ) , since there is only him playing.......The whole performance was a solo.

@@gholmes5404 everybody has own story, own skills. i am happy with my playing and this is only the motivation, inspiration. Luca has its own way and I like his songs but I am not a fan of tapping and those modern techniques. its tricky but silly sometimes.
I resisted open tunings for years, but there were so many songs I wanted to learn that - through trial and error - I couldn't do otherwise. Obviously everyone should learn to play guitar with the standard tuning, but especially if you're writing songs or making arrangements, open tunings can be helpful.

Just heard this live last night. Luca performed at a venue one mile from my house. It was a great evening. He's very entertaining both musically and with his funny comments leading into each song.
Can I just say, "One like is not enough." It's like Luca has an entire orchestra at his fingertips. This man is phenomenal! Bravo!!!

This is a great arrangement. The original has several layers of instruments - and Luca has done an incredible job of bringing that layered feel to the piece.
Showed this to my first cousin, now we're getting married
I've grown used to people with amazing fingerplay skills that overplay the songs. Adding a lot of extra just because they can, resulting in a song not being calm and clean. Luca has amazing skills, but still keeps the song more true to the originals - and I absolutely love that. Keep it up!

as a life long skynyrd fan, and guitar player, this is mind boggling. I've played in bands with 3 guitars and couldn't get all the parts in ,.... wow. inspiring.
Luca, I just want to say that you're style of playing and creativity is incredible! I've never, EVER, liked an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist's music more than your music. Todd, we all have talents in different areas. For example, I am horrible at learning how to play musical instruments, guitar or piano. I have tried to learn how to play both, with little success. But I am very good at building things, critical thinking, drawing, sports. We all have skills, they are just not in the same areas. Don't beat yourself down, I am pretty sure you too are good at other things. By the way, I love to play guitar, it just takes me a lot of time, to learn how to play any song. Then on top of that, I love finger- picking style. Just imagine

So brilliant! A smile on my face after about 10 seconds, and it just kept there as I lsisened, every note worth listening to.
Not only does luca bless us with these sounds but then provides full tabs for anyone to pick up! An absolute gem to the community. Although as a novice I'm still hesitant changing my guitar tuning around and this is played with a Dsus4 tuning i think so makes it tricky to practice it bit by bit without dedicating to the tuning.
Regardless, Luca love this. You show what the guitar can do!

Yes and no. He had to practise a lot to play all these songs and I think a lot of people don't even know how talented they are because they never really tried to achieve something like this.
I was thinking the same until I read the post made after yours. I have been told many times I play very, very well, I play often and play/work at it hard, but dam. Some guys just got it. I unfortunately do not have the gift as strong as this man. It still is an honor to listen and I do seriously do appreciate his talent!
