How do I get a job with the BA test kitchen?
Oi! No "The dough can sense your fear" shirt?
Can we buy one for Andy?
Someone buy one for Andy!
the BA test kitchen is so popular because it lets us engage in a fantasy of ever being in a positive work environment
Why would you say something so true, so hurtful. I've never worked in kitchens that weren't drama/a mess. 😭
This hurt.
Ah so incredibly true.
Måns Olof Larsson not being like the rest is the nature of being a boss. Besides I don't get the hate I really liked him, considering he is the boss
HAHA what if they all actually hate each other but just behave like consummate professionals while they are at work? ROFL
Chris Morocco is lowkey my favorite person. You can tell he is such a food nerd and knows his stuff!
Now I wanna see all the brainstorming of the sauce etc
He's also the only dude to come fully equipped. Spoons, pens, cloth, timer, apron, all on him
He needs his own channel

@@kensei1984 Haha yea nobody ever thinks like that. If anything I imagine most people appreciate those little weird exchanges as just something kinda funny to break up the monotony of the same old interactions, and then completely forget about it.
The other day I was checking out at Target, had maybe four bags of items and the girl behind the counter, I noticed her name tag said Lyric and I just thought that was kind of a cool name, and just blurred out “That’s a pretty name, Lyric.” And she was like “Thank you.” And then she started talking about what she was gonna do after work and how she didn’t have any plans and I realized oh, she thought I was hitting on her so she’s trying to nudge things along here, drop some hints. Once I got home, I realized I didn’t have one of the bags, she forgot to put it in my cart. I think we were both just so shook by the moment, her by being unexpectedly hit on and me by realizing I had accidentally hit on her, that neither of us realized a bag was left sitting on top of the little carousel thing lol. Had to drive all the way back up there

She's got that alpha dominant personality.. Until it is met with the same type..

Love her tho.
Molly sounds like someone whose sweetness hides the fact that she could effortlessly end your life with a single sentence.
i LOVE when claire randomly appears in episodes she's not supposed to be in, so good to see her in her natural state and not frustrated over tempered chocolate :p
Please tell me there will be more series like this. The possibility are endless, and seeing the interpersonal interactions are my favorite part. I learn a lot about cooking, but it’s the people for sure.
I think there’s going to be another, because of how popular it is
What else can they make perfect that they can divide and conquer?!
Making the perfect burger would be great!
Timechaser burgers for sure. Sandwiches. Ramen.
It’s so hard to make a series like this and even harder to get people to watch something this long...but this is an excellent show and tons of people are watching
I demand a director's cut of the meeting alone, doesn't matter if it's one hour, three hours, I need it.
we demand
probably 25 mins of the test kitchen crew beating up chris for loving pineapple on pizza 😂😂
I want that too
Its all scripted and took 10 mins.
I love that idea. I vote on that!
IT TOOK YOU 4 EPISODES TO TRY A WOODEN PEEL.
Guys, Chris is your brain.
Was seriously driving me insane watching them try to fiddle with that metal peel. I've only ever seen metal peels used in really hot ovens to move the pizza around or pull it out. Wood is far better in most usages.
Dude straight up. I can't believe it took them this long. Or that it didn't occur to them to try corn meal on the metal peal to reduce friction
The peel saga omg
Corn meal or flour on the bottom. And you make the pizza on the peel.
You are so right-on with your observation. Chris is the accommodating quiet one of the group who knows much more than he thinks he does and is so self-deprecating. The others notice his attributes but he often minimizes their positive appraisal. He's a consummate wing-man personality. He supports the main player while being the key that holds it altogether.
Mustakrakish I think they were avoiding that because they wanted that leoparding effect on the pizza bottom
I love it when Chris swears. He's a very classy guy, but when he swears, it really sends a message

Thank Claire lol
In kitchen, no one can hear you scream
I can’t believe it took this many calzones for them to switch from metal to wood peel
They just needed some Chris xD
Or to pay attetion in any pizzeria ever that they went they all use wood peel to put it in the oven and metal to remove it ( i was a pizza guy for over 10 years and worked and/or managed over a dozen differny resturaunts
I too was surprised to see them all messing with the metal peel and not use one made from wood. I mean: shouldn't professional chefs know about this?
So thanks to Chris (of course) he and Andy finally got their pies together.
YES! AND don't cut the pizza on the wood peel! It will rough up the surface which will make the pizza difficult to slide into the oven!
@@Lernschau food is a pretty broad topic. no chefs know everything.
I love this idea of a short series with everyone involved. I would definitely watch more content like this.
It's like the office and food network had a baby
Loved the mechanic between Andy and Chris they are both highly skilled
What could they do like this next, though? Some kind of pasta dish? I'm just trying to think of what is at least a similar level of tasks they could carry out individually to bring together, that has a lot of different options, and I'm really not thinking of anything.
fakecubed Mac and cheese is the one I can think of right off the bat. Maybe they could get submissions from people because different cultures have different dishes they could riff on.

Chris wasn't my immediate favourite amongst the BA people but he has certainly inched his way to the top. What a quirky loveable dude. ☺
I love Chris. He's that uncle that you think is really uptight but as you get to know his realize he is just as silly as your dad. Plus I appreciate how Chris challenges classic masculinity.
Same! At first I didn’t like him, but he’s one of my favorites now!
Chris needs people to interact with to shine. Few of the BA Chefs have the ability to run their videos solo. Even Brad is a good example, he often needed to interact with Vinnie to bring out the fullest extent of his personality.
This avengers of pizza series is so good. You should make the ultimate burger next!

I honestly wouldn't want to work with a group without a chris. Without that person whl merges all the ideas together, it'll be an argument fest.
I feel like if Chris weren't there Andy and Brad would've had a knife fight on set years ago.
Yeah. He pronounces anchovies wrong though haha
I can't imagine the amount of dough Claire had to make for this project 🙈🙈
Lol I’m too lazy to make instant ramen sometimes
remember, it's 24 hour dough so she had to make fresh for each day of filming too...
Haibar Zair I mean this is her job...
go watch her episode then?
Probably just a few large batches of dough made on different days, really depends on how the filming of these were scheduled, if it was condensed, she could have made as few as 2 or 3 batches, fermentation, amount of zza made, and length of series filming all considered of course. I doubt she would make multiple small batches of dough every day, that's just inefficient.

Chris was the only person smart enough to switch the peels after one struggling attempt. Clearly shows that he’s hella experienced
It shows he is sensible with no time for useless cr@p.
Everything else shows he is experienced - the timer, spoons available, the way he drinks water. He's been in kitchens.
Right??? After i saw him struggle, I thought “why not try the wooden AND construct it all on the peel!!!
