As always, wonderful. Maybe Uncle Ken would consider gracing us with some of his lost stories at his convenience. All the best to you all. Adventure on!!
I really enjoy seeing your videos of Ken and his gang. Life was so much simpler back then and I feel sorry for the young people today who don't get to experience life like that. Thanks for sharing Ken with us.
I am so glad. Yes. Just hanging out on the dirt road at the creek, while we frequently ate fried chicken, Golden Flake Hot Potato Chips(not Ken! "You stoopid!"), and drank iced tea. You're welcome!
Another good one Walter ! Good to see uncle Ken out and about ! Love the pics of little Robert ! Who knew he would make you guys a little famous ! Thanks Walter !
👍👍👍👍👍❤ was that a Fierro I seen? Aaaahhhh I always wanted that that car for my first. But instead I got an 84 notchbach Mustang with Loovers (luvers)??? On that back window... 😅 was a blast sliding in that parking space in winter . Sadly that ol mustang caught fire in the engine ( in front of a fire station) No joke. ❤ Love the Awesome memories you share with us! 😊 Send Love to Ken, and love to you also! 😊
I will, and thank you, Shannon! Yes, you just confirmed to me that my memory was right; it is a Fiero! Johvan bought a second one for parts, for $75.00. I was driving the one pictured here behind his 'new' one that he just bought in Columbus, from someone. It was just sitting in their back yard. On the way back to Johvan's house from Columbus, his 'new' Fiero CAUGHT FIRE! It was pine straw on the rear of the engine. It was a very small fire. We found out that day that antifreeze is highly flammable, when we had only that to fight the fire with. The car was quickly engulfed in flames. I shot the whole thing, the Muscogee County Fire and EMS Department coming out to put out the fire. A single Fire Truck. A day or two later, Johvan had the burned out car towed to The Old Byrd Farm, where it sat near the barn for the next - 10(?) years. Johvan was good-natured about the whole incident. He had an 'east come, easy go attitude about it.
great images, so nice to see all of your friends and family. especially young Robert! it is neat so that you can see young Robert, in grown up Robert. thank you for the piece of history.
I needed a good scream. I saw some 80's cars Pontiac Fiero, Chevy Citation, What looked like a Ford Fairmont grill, not sure what was under the tree definitely late 70's or 80's. When you showed Ken's tape recorder it reminded me of something I have trying to get across to people. Every older person was once a baby, a child, a teenager, and a young adult. When you see an older face don't see them as always being old but as a layered book with stories to tell. As always your video leaves with a odd sensation of the past.
Ha! Yes, it is interesting how young people of today frequently don't comprehend a tape recorder. Yes! The snide younger people will one day be the ones they are being snide about. That is a good description of people, as book. I'm glad these videos mean something to you, Alan.
Love this! ❤ Look at that little Robert! Just as cute now as he is was then. I know he will always remember the memories he made with all of yall. Correct me if I'm wrong...Robert's mother is your & Brian's sister and one of Ken's sister is yalls mother? I know you've answered this question in comments on other videos, but trying to get it straight in my head again. 😁
Yes. His memories of these days have affected what he does today. Yes, Lisa is the middle sister. Mom was Ken's only sister. His older sister. There were three kids there. Junior, who drowned was the middle child. Ken came along 6 months after Junior drowned.
I love the classic black and white photos, baby Robert makes me smile, thanks 😀
I do too! Baby Robert was adorable!
What a shame about the tapes. Awww, Sweet little Robbie. I screamed, but at the wisteria planting, the masks are secondary!! Enjoyed!
Ha! Ha! Ha! Yes!
Yeah, I hate it about the loss of Ken's house and most of everything in it.
As always, wonderful. Maybe Uncle Ken would consider gracing us with some of his lost stories at his convenience. All the best to you all. Adventure on!!
Thank you, Marsha. I'll mention it to him. All the best to you as well!
The more of the older phots that I see, the more sure I am that Robert Wright was the absolutely cutest little kid. Ever!
Ha! Ha! Ha! He really was!

What a fun video with a cast of characters! Nice to see Little George's Mom. 🌸
Yes! I don't have many of Wendy. She would come over and visit with Mom. Ken, Little George, Brian, and I would head off down a dirt road.
Thanks great pictures and man that town was full of Georgia peaches 🤪🇺🇸
Thank you! And yes it was.
Love this collaboration, brings back some awful good memories! ❤ A much happier easier life❤

Best videos around. I still laugh on how I was able to find Robert's place by your videos. I still never figured that horse facility next door.
That's so funny!
Another wonderful time capsule.
Thank you so much!
I can’t get over how much Robbie looks like my son Phillip when he was little.❤️ that’s so sad about Kens tapes😔🐝❤️
Wow!
It really is sad about those tapes, yes.

Absolutely mean something. I’m don’t have a steel trap memory. These videos help jog my brain about my younger days.
@@alanmoberly64 I'm so glad about that!
Aloha 🌺 Walt!🥰
Aloha to you, Katherine!
Hey Walter who is the beautiful redhead. Uncle Ken is as surrounded with beautiful women so was Robert growing up!!!
That is Christy Young. She came out from Columbus, to pose on the dirt road.
I miss the good about the 60s 70s and80s but there was bad then too every generation thinks their time was best
Oh yes. Our minds have a tendency to 'polish' our memories into something more appealing than they were.
