GREAT VIDEO! On the last connector you showed, with that white colored locking block, you don’t actually have to remove it all the way I found out. You just pop it up the same direction as if you were taking it out like 1/4”-3/8” and it will stop. Then you take a very small pick (I used a leather saddle stitching needle in a pin vise as a tool) and you just insert it into those little holes in the white locking block next to each pin and pull the wire right out. It’s super satisfying to do once you figure them out haha.
Excellent. I sure hope people see this video first and not those others that have you using a needle and going into the front of the CanBus connector. While that other method works - it is much more cumbersome. Your process works perfectly!!
Great video man. Bought some factory Harley front blinkers for my 2021 Road glide, and the damn cables from the light don’t come from the factory with the connector attached. Harley makes you buy it, and additional pins separately. Fuggin shit practice. This will help with my installation. Thanks a million! 🙋🏻♂️
WoW!! Too bad the dealership techs don’t do this Yes I know they have to complete a job But a few minutes longer for a neater job You have instead a bunch taped wires!! Thanks for the information
Very well done video, covered a very wide variety which is also very helpful! Thank you for taking the time it took putting this tutorial together, sharing it with nephews, friends who work on their own scooters. Stay safe brother!
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!! I've been trying to "un-f**K" my 07 FLHX handle bar replacement that happened before I bought the bike. You made the job insanely easy!
Great video brother. Where do i get the de pinning tool. Or whats it even called. Holding a smoke while instructing reminds me of the old guy that tought me. Thanks for that great memory.
Well done sir. Thank you for this vid, changing out my wife's 09 Rocker handlebars from Bitchin Rich (BSC) proved to be a little harder than I thought it would be. The connection that had a little trouble with was the last one. Thank you for saving me from having a giant wad of butt conns.
Any tips on getting the pins out of the throttle wire connector? You did an awesome job explaining the heated grip ones but I can’t seem to get the throttle wire connector off
Aren’t some of those AMP Multi-Lock I had trouble finding the 4 wire connectors. Seems HD went away from them I need to figure out the 4 wire connector that has the blue seal and used for 22FXLRST Speedo to a 22 FXLRS
Wow! Been fng around for a year trying to unpin those JAE (CAN-Bus) connectors. All other videos show using a safety pin from the opposite side. It does eventually work but is a PITA at best. The method you show here is essentially foolproof. Thank you. Quick question: did you make/modify that tool or buy it? I got a different tool to work but yours looks better.

I’m glad you were able to get some real world use out of the video. 🙏🏽🤙🏽
Many thanks, I could have stayed a year to figure out how these connectors disassembled.

Thanks brother. I am going to replace the Nacelle on my bike, and was wondering how to get the wires out of the headlight assy without cutting.
I wonder where to buy that pin removal tool showing in the video
Me too dude. Come on share bro!
If you break a pin is there a way to replace it like the little pin on the end of the wire can you buy another or do you have to repair it

OMG thank you for this video, i was about ready to start cutting wires
No problem! Glad we could help

I’m stuck on the other connector for the throttle. I thought for sure that one was on the list. Didn’t notice a resemblance to the other connectors.
great video
Great video. Looking around for the 4pin headlight connector...👀👀👀
Bro tell me if you find em I can't find em anywhere
@joshuamullins9971 I didn't find a video but I figured it out myself
Great Video!!!! Very detailed. Thanks much.
Thanks so much for watching!
Good stuff very helpful I appreciate the info!!!
Thanks for the feedback! Glad we could help you.
That 4-pin connector @6:49, all other videos show the tool going in to the other end. Your way might be alot easier.
Why did you skip the twist sensor plug?
10:45 Thanks!
Anytime bro

Get rid of the cigarette ,it would be a whole lot easier
