1988 Bosch Business Transportable bag phone

- This is a Bosch OF7 / 95 (also known as a C7 Cartel) in a bespoke leather hardened bag case. This operated on the old German C-netz which worked on 450Mhz.
The regular OF7/95 phones are the standard phones.....this one is rare because it has the car compatible custom bespoke built case.
These were built between 1988 and 1992 but I think this one is one of the earlier ones going by my notes from the previous owner.

candy bar version of a startac.....that could be a number of things....it could be the slimlight, the i1000 nextel or another one that I can't remember the model of.

Oh I go out in public with big bag phones or transportables like this sometimes depending on where I go. I go to places where satelite phones are not allowed so having an 8 watt unit like this is the next best thing on GSM. People think you're actually a government official or some heavy who has a comms method more secure than a normal cellphone - really quite funny the look on peoples faces sometimes!!!
BrickCellphones once I went out with my microtac and had to hide when calling cuz people were staring and discussing constantly.
After that I didn't have the courage to go out with my 3200 that I've bought lol
heck I go out with a motorola 1000 which is the size of a big womans hand bag!!! I get all the people looking funny but then they also think.....oh my god...is he mafia? is he secret service? is he crazy?
they just don't know.....so I have to laugh at them because theyre confused.
These phones were a sign that the owner was rich and of a high status!
C-Netz is in the 70cm Band 450 - 455,74MHz(TX Mobil) and 460 - 465,74MHz(RX Mobil), 462; Gebühr = Charge; Faktor (multiplier) = Charge/min in DM (example 1min. = DM0,30) ; 'Karte Eingeben' means Insert Card; Reduz Leistung = reducing the RF-Power; Kein zugriff = access denied; Name Suche = search name; Funke = Transmit(RF); Tel Nr = Phone number; Leistung = Power(Watt); Normale Leistung = Normal Power (RF) [15Watt max. Power for the C-Netz mobil part]. On this C-Netz the speaker louder button is on the lower position this is wrong! it should be on the upper position and the speaker minus should be on the the down side! In my mind.
Also have a look at Andreas Eversberg the OSCOMBB Project this will tell you how Base Station in a C-Netz are working. Best Regards Volker from Vienna

what phone is it for? I don't remember accesory part numbers.....phone models yes for the most part but accesories....??? I'm not that good!!! I do have some nokia shoes....depends for what phone. email me directly.
BrickCellphones I can't find your email address but its for a Nokia 6310i. Won't charge properly so thought a separate cradle charger might help. But I've just bought a phone with same type of battery so will try charging batteries on that and swap them over. cheers
It's in the video at 20 minutes and 50 seconds.....brickcellphones at gmail dot com. Have you tried a car kit cradle charger? that should definitely charge the phone because it uses the terminals at the bottom and not the round plug hole at the bottom. Obviously the contacts need to be shiney gold and clean.
Cool, thanks. I think I've sorted it out now though.. I cleaned the contacts inside the phone and it's charging and not turning itself off all the time. Should have thought of it earlier I guess.
