- KTLA 5's Samantha Cortese has the latest on how prosecutors would like Grossman’s access to jailhouse phones taken away after their investigation revealed that she has been trying to get her daughter, husband, and legal team to help her get a new trial.

The family needs to be charged with jury and witness tampering too. And SHE sent a letter to the Islander family? Good Lord. The defense team sending a private investigator to witnesses and jurors homes is not only illegal but disgusting. The husband and daughter are going to get more radical after Rebecca's sentencing.

She killed two children by driving like some high school kid (my apologies to high school kids), racing with her over the hill boyfriend and then lying and scheming to avoid the consequences. Lol i agree with you completely, but you would be suprised how many people use the jail phone and it literally gives you a voice message every single time you dial a number and you also have to verify you understood that you are being recordered by pressing the number 1 on the pinpad lol, and yet these idiots confess to nurder , where they hid the murder weapon , ect . My guess is the think theres so many inmates to look after and monitor. They feel there odds are lower then others, but high prpfile cases and violent cases with victims and media coverage is always monitored, and Grossmam has only been incarcerated since her conviction which was a few weeks ago lol shes definitely pooping 💩 bricks right now facing the maximum sentence of 35 years, she has money shes going to try anything even if that means dragging her husband and kids with her on tampering charges, it didnt take her long to act like a convict thats been doing this for some time now lol.

No, Damn, because of her recorded phone calls the courts moved her date until June.😡. I had April 10th marked on my calendar. Her defense attorneys are going for a hopeful retrial or mistrial. But SHE tampered with the juror’s first!?🥴. Anyway date has been changed…but good will give her lots of time to get used to prison food and meeting lots of everyday folks, who will love to hear her side of the story. I’m pretty sure the sentencing judge is going to react pretty harshly to hearing what this woman has been trying to do. It clearly shows that she has no remorse for her actions and will likely result in a longer sentence, which she absolutely deserves.

Imagine a mother killing two little boys, but being so detached from reality they show zero empathy, remorse or guilt. To me the human thing to do is admit guilt, express sorrow for what you’ve done and throw yourself at the mercy of the court.
