I saw this same presentation at Pepsi Center…I knew from the first chord I was about to hear my favorite song played 10 feet in front of me. ..It was glorious.
I wrote the “HOPE” scribble from Godspeed You! Black Emperor during my bullshit easy three day bid for a DUI on the wall of the intake cell of Montgomery County Correctional Facility, a few years back.. I Figured someone in the future Might Need to see it.
Hopefully they play it one day. I got to see it back-to-back night in 07. Spokane and Boise shows. Best song live out of the 7 times I have watched them. Ticks and Leeches my dream. Probably won't happen
When Justin struck the first stroke in 07 in WS NC I know I was the first voice bellowing out I knew before anyone what song they were playing and it’s still my favorite live song from them
@@destroyermaker actually he can but not so often and he Will FK up his voice if he do it often. He did Great screams last Tours, performing Grudge for example.
This song doesn't really have a broad singing range, Maynard unfortunately doesn't belt out the notes like he used to.. even he admits it. Although he still is one of the best frontmen in all of music.

I just got to see it in FL. Blew me away, poo'd a little from the bass.
I spray painted my own Tool Flood shirt in 9th grade because the wrench just wasn’t enough for someone as cool as I was.

😂😂 Right on man.
Damn. This and the bottom are 2 of my top 15 all time favorite tool songs
My 2 favorite Tool songs.
Danny back there like F-ing Godzilla, destroying everything he sees (in a good way).
Seen TOOL 9x , seen them play this song twice. To me this is a top 5 song for me. undertow. underrated.
The pinnacle of the Opiate/Undertow era… and the first Tool song I ever heard. Fortunate to witness this twice. 🤘
yessssssss Justin killing it!
I will always love watching Danny Carey, the decisiveness of his drum strikes in this is awesome
I fucking miss Tool! Release that damn album and tour already!
*2018, november, still waiting*
Hi friend I come from the future and tool will release their new album August of 2019
fermangürleroğlu HELL YEAH BROTHER
The time has come
It happened. Hope u all were around to enjoy still 🤘🏻
One song on my dream setlist for a live show.....many others. But I need to scramble to reach higher ground
First time I saw them live was in 2002 and they opened with it. Also got H in that setlist too.
Hopefully they play it one day. I got to see it back-to-back night in 07. Spokane and Boise shows. Best song live out of the 7 times I have watched them. Ticks and Leeches my dream. Probably won't happen
Never fk ing give a fk ever. Never give up. No never! Reach for the farts! Then reach for the stars!

Finally, a live video of my favourite intro to one of my favourite tool songs 😍
This ground is not the rock I thought it to be
Thought I was high, and free
I thought I was there
Divine destiny
I was wrong
This changes everything
running away
Running away running away running way take what is mine oh what is mine suffocate what is mine!
30 Years later... and I'm still caught up in the Undertow 🌀🔥🔧
Beautiful
Amazing like always
So fucking badass! One of my favs off that 1st release!
AWESOME! 🤪🤟
This was the song at the end of Undertow that gave you a hint at the MASSIVE level-up they were going to leap on to next....... ÅENIMA! 😁
Wow, considering how new this is, Maynard sounds very much like the album version. I guess his range is holding out better than I thought! :D
It's the long screams he can't do anymore
not new anymore, and neither are we. we're all old boomers now :(
@@algo2957 Good thing there's a next life

@@nikolagregic7709 Yeah I heard he's gotten it back some. I wonder how. Figured once it's gone that's it.
The way they used the lighting and the soundscapes in the beginning reminds me of ConstruKction era King Crimson shows.
The backdrop is wicked cool!
Just played this at MSG Jan. 2024.
Sometimes. It hurts. .. sometimes more than others.
great quality for a live post
Love the undertow songs like this one that pointed to where they were going
Wish I was there...
My god......
I was the 11,111th view for this
🥴 that snare needs self cooling system for sure
This is tool covering the Melvins... Jesus, what a track. 🙏
?um no sir.
Three Gorges Dam.

Joe Rec Yeah, he IS like 51 today so his vocal range is gonna not be able to handle as much
@@donovanwright225 A lot of the older stuff would be cool.
Donovan Wright Its no ticks and leeches but he still can slay part of me and swamp song
@@Xakslied swamp song the other day was a very pleasant surprise
@JoeyRec its cause of his age.
"checking in..... is everyone fine?"
that's because they're about to get absolutely L E V E L E D by what's fucking coming.
Wow... one dislike...
1.25 speed in the beginning is preferable.
fixed it
