I discovered this watch brand about a year ago. I had no idea that the Russians made wrist watches. Vostoks are cheap, easy to mod, and interesting to collect. I'm now expecting my forth Vostok watch from Meranom. Warm greetings from sunny So. Florida.✌🌴🌞🌴🐊

Very cool .I just ordered the 170891 Lumed dial.It's my 8th Amphibia and collecting all the case shapes .The 170 has so many good looking models I may get a few .The GMT 170 is very cool too
They may not be official Special Editions, but look at the features on those beautiful watches that make them appear to be SE versions anyway: upgraded bezel, upgraded crown, upgraded long second hand, upgraded bracelet, fancy case back. Those are very nice Amphibias!

You always have a nice watch on your wrist that I've never heard of before. Love the 170 case too.
they also have limiter bronze versions. And they are realy for diving and were made for professional divers. Not every Seiko have better characteristics and moreover the price

Found your channel the other night and subbed. These new Vostoks look like a huge improvement on the old Scuba Dude. Although I still love the Vostoks with the submarines and jet fighters on the dials. Great giveaway!

@@oliverfasola19 the amphibia models with the 009 barrel style case are very likely stainless only with no coatings. They are my favourite style.
Never owned a Vostok and when i look at meranom there's so many , I've got no idea what i'm looking at lol - some look very cool though

I received my green dial version and it is definitely BOMB! Running about 15 sec fast after first powerdown on an all black Burton silicon strap, feather light and comfortable at 100g . Able to hack it with some fiddling to! Going to see how it looks on the new all black DLC Strapcode Engineer 1 bracelet. Super beefy I'd imagine!

@@ChillinwitWatches you should see it on the new black 22mm Strapecode DLC Engineer 1 Braclet! 185 grams! Epic! You need this strap, maybe do a review? So comfortable, big buckle, no taper nice balance to the Amphibia 170 or even a Seiko Turtle. Looking so Russian.

I've not checked out a Vostok, actually in the hand, and I've never had a watch with a butterfly clasp either, !! So to win the blue one, would be a double whammy for me,,

Even though the scuba dude dial will probably always stay my favorite look for the Vostok, but damn, these look great, Vostok is improving. Love that the case is brushed, the bezels look great as well.

I just bought green one. Before I was doing research and only video I found about this watch was russian one. Now I found yours by accident. You should definitely add watch code to title so more people can find it. As for the bracelet, it's been some time since you uploaded video - can you tell me more about it? Is it decent? Usually Vostok bracelets are awful (I have one) but this one seems actually not bad. So I am not sure if I should start looking for replacement or is there hope that I won't be disappointed with Vostok one.
Good idea - I'm such a newb! The bracelet is actually quite nice! The only downside for me was the butterfly clasp, I don't like those, but if they don't bother you, I think you will like it!

Nice looking Vostok. Similar type case to the 710. Should to a comparison between them. Love the dials, obviously more expensive than the amphibian classic series though but still great value IMO. Thanks for sharing.

@@ChillinwitWatches Yeah, those are both great dials, but would be even better if they were no date versions. Maybe I am just the idiot for not only buying quartz perpetual calendar watches when they have day date, but I even think no date dials look better to be honest.
