What do you think he would do, pot the black for the 147, smash a pint glass against the table and slash the guys face with the broken glass part before walking out, calling everyone a tosser? There really was not anything else other than to smile, shake the guys hand and just be normal lol
Not many sports where you can sit in a club, no barriers, no guards, with a beer in your hand and watch what only a handful of people in the world can make look easy. Amazing to watch.
How can you not love Wilo, the nicest most laid back guy on tour. Never forgotten is roots,he’s equally at home in the crucible or down the working men’s club. Oh and at 49 still at the top of his game
None of them guys minded having Mark Williams backside in their face at all witnessing such splendour. One of the very best for sure. Rip Terry Griffiths
This is definitely up there with the very best 147’s! He is totally cramped for space with the audience almost touching his cue, totally mind blowing how good these guys are, and Mark’s been doing this for over 30 years. Welsh genius 🏴🏴
Your moment of fame, break the reds & get white to baulk….. Reality, clips the pack to thin, hits the blue & now he is the guy that Mark W knocks a 147 in against 🤣🤣
SNOOKER is ART...... Williams is an ARTIST.All witnesses present were willing that black in just to say i saw the perfect artistry of Mark Williams at penygraig labour club.Happy New Year from Gwersyllt Working Mens Club WREXHAM 🎉😂❤my profound thoughts🎉😂😅❤

J'adore Neil Robertson. I can really appreciate this 147 I play in a snooker League Thursday nights in clubs like this and if I get a20 + break I’m happy. So well done Mark. Ps ur welcome to join my team anytime 😂
Love how he just gets down on that final black knowing he's going to pot it, some players would hesitate and look down the angle of the pot. He's the best player to watch after Ronnie imo!
The other guy played his part. You really notice the size difference between club table pockets and Championship table pockets though. A Championship table would be a reality-check call for many decent club players.
Does anyone else find this refreshing? I mean the camera angle, every time you watch snooker on BBC you always get the same angles all the time and a lot of the time they change angles on a shot, it's very annoying
Imagine his opponent “ I get to play a frame against Mark Williams. If I can pot a few balls and my safety is decent I might even win” he got one shot then watched a 147🤣🤣
147 in this tiny little room with people and beer glasses inches from him is crazy. Lol
And it’s good that such moments still exists
That's how it used 2b years ago
and pockets like buckets and little pressure. he actaully makes them very regularily, hence why no big shout from him.
Tiny room? ...
@@gaskellr44 how many maximums have you made on club tables .
" i broke off agaisnt mark williams once".
Favourite player on the tour. Great guy, top player. Seems to have spent the last month knocking in exhibition 147s for fun
What a privilege to be in that room and witness that. Such a personal experience.
Unless you were the moron who videoed it on his stupid iphone. He experianced none of it.
Did you buy any crisps, nuts or snacks in the evening? If yes, what did you buy? If no, why not?
Best,

@@vp5633 He got some pork scratchings Les man...
Love how he goes to his opponent and shakes his hand. Total respect and a nice man.

Because it was a really close game.

Definitely genius!!! Top Bloke with likeable personality too..
Genius, no question.
Dedicating this to Welsh Legend Terry Griffiths ❤
RIP
That was so good to watch in that environment: what a brilliant player!
Fantastic. Wonderful it was caught on film. Legendary performance!
This is definitely up there with the very best 147’s!

Welsh genius 🏴🏴
Correct
The guy sitting with his cue. 🤣🤣
Your moment of fame, break the reds & get white to baulk…..
Reality, clips the pack to thin, hits the blue & now he is the guy that Mark W knocks a 147 in against 🤣🤣
'queue' ?
🤣🤣🤣🤣😫😁
So funny 😂 he looked so disappointed but he was never gonna win the frame let’s face it 😂
At least he had the opportunity to play against Mark Williams.
Mad to think Alex Higgins won the 1972 World Championship in a similar setting
Like a fine wine this fella....gets better with age.!
Impressive especially when you can see how he initially struggles with the slow pace of the table compared to what he will normally be used to.
suspect that table way below the standard he is used to
absolutely, those early blacks were less than ideal
Easier pockets though.
Legend 👏 light work for Williams with those pockets.
Half decent considering he had to sit on somebody's lap for half of his shots

Wow… how amazing to witness that incredible break 👌
Wonder if it was winner stays on.
Easy peasy. Wonderful :)

Surely that deserved a standing ovation!!
Oh my word amazing would have loved to have been there
Sweet mercy, that was something else. I love the fact he is wearing the proper attire, including well polished shoes, to play in some clubhouse.
So fluent and made to look like snookers an easy game!
That was a bloody good 147. Some awful reds in there. Absolute top class!
Pots 13 reds and 12 blacks before he gets a round of applause priceless ❤️the guy
Wowza. Some of those reds to black looked so hard
LEGEND!
Incredible. What a talent. A true Welsh legend.
Love Mark Williams, top top geeza!!!
Outstanding Mark well done those fans will remember that for the rest of there lives 👏
Intimate and I bet he has never felt the entire club wanted that 147 more than mark did.
I can really appreciate this 147 I play in a snooker League Thursday nights in clubs like this and if I get a20 + break I’m happy. So well done Mark. Ps ur welcome to join my team anytime 😂
and that's the Welsh Potting Machine
Penygraig Labour Club must be one of Mark’s favourite venues. Lovely table Steve Parsons.
147 more glorious reasons to Love Mark Williams 🎉❤
Best bit about this - not one person watching it through their phone in the hope of getting likes from strangers on social media. Proper people.
errrrrr
@@Beano147he’s right young ones nowadays are just thirsty ego merchants
Imagine being there watching it live. That's amazing
Love this bloke! he's so humble, classy on the table too.... 147 in close quarters!!! how?
You might think they'd stand up for that.
I just posted the same, didn't see your comment. 😂
That'll teach him to play a loose break off shot 😂
It was a very bad one.
I loved that - in the tiny room with everyone drinking. lol
Love watching Williams. Brilliant break.
the most excitement theyve seen since lambing time
Pure class 👊
Brilliant

I love Britain. Don't let them tell you Britain is bad and needs to be globalised. This is great.
@@mikw1809 damn it you're right!
Diamond geezer in every respect!
Snooker will never see a class such class of 92. Ronnie Higgins and Williams
Mark turns round at the end and says empty your pockets and bank accounts I want my £147,000 Maximum Break prize money!😂
Different class an absolute legend of snooker
Luv the way the guy sets himself up for the break off then makes a pigs ear of it
Makes em every week these days
you noticed too!
Those are some shiny shoes
The other guy played his part.
You really notice the size difference between club table pockets and Championship table pockets though. A Championship table would be a reality-check call for many decent club players.
Have been watching snooker for about 50 years, I have never understood why the pockets aren't standardised.
Did he win the frame?
Top 5 of all time for me!
Top man, top break, though he rode his luck at times!
“Extension.”
-“You what?” Lol
Imagine people coming into the auditorium late and carrying beer in the Crucible? 🤪
They got their money's worth that night.
Amazing!
Hats off
Williams is mint bloke not to mention the snooker
Wow
Too good 👍🔥
Was für ein einmaliges Talent! Der Mann ist ja nicht mehr 20.Hoffenungsträger für alle betagten Spieler, wie mich😊
Class.
On such a slow cloth compared to what he is used to makes it special for me..
Yeah really having to give the cue ball a clattering at times, that you don’t see on pro tables.
Left himself a bit short early on in break, got out of it though, awesome break.
Well done Mark bach .
Class,blokes thinking .....I'll get my coat🤭
Such a great guy
Class maximum
In my city barely anywhere like this to play now hardly even got a league
Whatever they paid to have him there they got their money's worth
What a treat
I played Marc Williams once. Oh yeah, how'd you do? That's not important. Haha😂
Best of 3 🤣
Very nice break 👌
Channel has 147 subscribers right now - special times !
What gets a standing ovation? 148?
Does this count towards his competition 147 totals?
No, only centuries from official professional tournament play are counted for the record
Amazing
Very good.
At least his opponent got to break😂😂
Does anyone else find this refreshing? I mean the camera angle, every time you watch snooker on BBC you always get the same angles all the time and a lot of the time they change angles on a shot, it's very annoying
Yes! You get to see the player fully, instead of just a series of close-ups of the table. This was great 👍
Class break
Who won the match?
That's how professional snooker used to be played
Whatever you do, don't hit the blue, 😂
Tha guy that broke off walks away and chalks his cue why ? 😂
oneeee hundreddd and eightayyyyyy!
Imagine his opponent “ I get to play a frame against Mark Williams. If I can pot a few balls and my safety is decent I might even win” he got one shot then watched a 147🤣🤣
What a clown 🤡 😂 Williams is simply amazing !!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
At least that guy can say he played MJW!
