Polaris Primary Clutch Failure ~ I Found all the Problems...

Polaris RZR clutches have been know to have problems occasionally.. and I have one of them! Spider nut backed off, oneway bearing jamming which causes it to slam into gear, and a damaged rolled and weight. Luckily I had a new clutch on the shelf from a Rzr 1000 Highlifter to replace this one.

Split the spider and put in new pucks, rollers and bearing that way you will have a spare. Clutches need to be blown out and cleaned all the time or you get premature failure

Poor quality or worn weight pivot slide bolts can wear and rust on contact area causing weights to stick.

First try to slightly move the clutch cover around while it’s idling. Very tight clearance… then pull the cover and check the belt snd clutches
