This is a legitimate question. Veritasium has a great video on this question and he points to self efficacy. The belief that you can do these sorts of things is half the battle. Often the children of accomplished people (ghost busting mom etc.) Internalize the attitude of "why not me." And I'm sure privilege opens doors even in egalitarian Sweden. How she competed irradiated any semblance of an accent is still just a puzzlement to me. She's a spy, or a witch.
