Water on the fire in 30 seconds. Not bad!

Why even bother wearing an air pack

If you know it's a working car fire, mask up. Then snap on the regulator as the line is being charged.

If you’re not going to wear the mask, don’t wear the pack either. You’ll be much more comfortable!

Like the other commenters - 30 seconds from stop to water on the fire. Very impressive. Great hustle. Nicely done. Bummer for the car owner and the tow truck guy that had to haul off that mess.

I’m starting to think he starts the fires Himself, HOW IS HE ALWAYS ON SCENE EARLY???? 😂

No true at all, the volunteers have to respond from home to the fire house while I can just drive straight to the scene, both traffic lights were green on my route here and as you see the engine still almost beat me there

@ But Why they don’t send non-volunteer fire Departments or will they send them to priority calls?

three engines for an isolated car fire seems like overkill. I get the idea of initially sending more resources until confirmed but hearing the second due arriving after the knockdown only to see a third engine seems silly. Yes, armchair quarterbacking to be sure. Happy to be shown if I am wrong. Please wear masks when fighting all fires...

Firefighters spend so much time making medical runs (which they absolutely hate), the opportunity to respond to a real fire, even a small one, is not to be missed! 🙂

Could be a number of reasons but my bet would be to simply get enough manpower to the scene. It’s not uncommon for a volunteer engine to respond with a driver and a single firefighter during a daytime response.

Your the same type person that will complain if there was only one engine there...why do you care?

Apparently your training doesn't include how to use an air pack. Just making the rest of the volunteers look bad.

This is CRAZY!! Why are ALL THESE “CAR” FIRES🤔?? MAY GOD CONTINUE TO WATCH OVER & BLESS THESE FIREFIGHTERS & KEEP THEM SAFE…. ALWAYS🙏🏻. THANKING ALL FIREFIGHTERS & FIRST RESPONDERS FOR ALL THAT THEY DO!! 🙏🏻🇺🇸

Here's a wild idea: use some critical thinking skills. Cars are literally powered by explosions and have gallons of flammable material in them. Car fires, especially in ICE cars are one of the most common types of fire. Couple that with maybe poor maintenance or a crappy quality car, and there you go, that's why you see car fires a lot.

Yes and no. My department responds to maybe, 1 car fire every 2 or so years but dozens of Structure fires. Toms river especially has had a wild amount of car fires the past month@LakesRegionEmergencyPhoto

Your mask does more than protect your lungs. Obviously these guys havent seen the video of the firefighter severely injured because he wasn't wearing his mask.
