- The seventh video of my series on how to write generic music, where I simultaneously make fun of different genres while also recreating them.
Today: Goregrind
Song starts at 14:15
You can download the song here: / generic-goregrind
The ski mask and the cargo shorts make you look like every groovy goregrind lead singer you’d see at Obscene Extreme I’m literally dying right now 💀
Mincegore too I’ve seen way too many mincegore bands with ski masks
@@asherhorror5771That's just the mincecore Feng shuei
The oompa oompa drum beat might be my favorite thing about Goregrind, next to some of the tracks being hilariously short. There's something weirdly endearing about an album with 20 tracks being less than 10 minutes in full hahahaha.(looking at you, Last Days of Humanity). Such a weird genre. This was hilarious, I was crying throughout that entire music video.
LDoH's 2006 record Putrefaction in progress has 41 tracks and is 26 minutes in length. Genuinely hilarious.
@@lily13337 Haha thats actually a really good observation, didn't notice myself. That explains why german Grindcore/Fun Metal band Excrementory Grindfuckers filled the rest of their 2007 album with random fart noises hacked up in 5 sec snippets, just to get to 99 songs on that record. :D
A truly sophisticated culture indeed.
It‘s beyond my understanding how this series doesn‘t have like 300k views on each video. Could watch that stuff all day.
Bull sh.. this post is fairly lame.
@@grindfreakmike5754 yeah, like your opinions or what?
Just makes you realize how niche slam and goregrind are
If goregrind had these type of music videos It would be the best genre ever ngl
You really smashed this sub genre. The video at the end is a true work of art. The song would make a decent 7".
0/10 didn't pitch shift the vocals
How dare you say goregrind is generic and tasteless and be absolutely right
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
i wouldnt say generic
This video has helped alot honestly! For me it just seems like fun making and if its shit (probably going to be) im going to make sure im having fun with it
I adore this series! Would love to see a generic prog metal or generic metalcore sometime!
You earned a sub for the music video alone. That was amazing
This is like slam death metal not really goregrind
A lot of modern goregrind is made by people in the slam scene lol, so it makes sense it'd all transfer
@Chronicleakage-ik5wgDon't forget brutal death is in there too
This is everything I hoped it would be lmao great job 😂
everything in ur video is so true, thank u sm have nice day
I am a koregrind drömer fröm tschermani, änd my snäre goes BOOOOIIIING!!!
I live for the Oompa Oompa drum beat 🪘
But is the snare boingy?
this is hilarious dude, good stuff
haven't laughed this hard in ages, thanks for that :D
Great video! You really deserve more views!
plz keep uploading this type of videos
Does it breeee!?
I luv this videos🤟
Cool shit my guy🔥🤘
Nice video , nice guitar sound
Certified hood classic
He is definitely enjoying it. That’s the secret about goregrind. 🤣🤣🤣
you are amazing
Very funny, very good. Love it :)
this is what people who dont know goregrind think is goregrind
Legend status
Beautiful 10/10 yes yes very relaxing perfect good tutorial moment very music
Grammar level: bot.
oh yeah these gonna blow up
Studio one is the best
Great video! It was so goregrind that I acctually wanna puke right now!
art teaching at its finest
this video is worth a sub for real, how come you just have 2k
@@KOR3Andrea I guess I'm not doing the UA-cam grind right.^^
Welcome abord!
@@Bosmek things will look better your content is top tier😩🙏
Gnarly ! 🤩
WOW. It sounds so SBDM on 1.25x. Wooooow. I even forgot i had speed pitch turned on.
As an x grind singer, i take offense lmao 10/10
“Boingy”.... one of those technical terms, I’m sure.
lowkey fire song
"The gate has a lot of work to do today"💀
The only thing that would have made this better would be pitch shifting the vocals down into oblivion...
I thought pitch shifting is for posers.^^
ua-cam.com/video/ozDpAZUbAY8/v-deo.html
this sounds exactly like goregrind
Agreed!
video is so good lol😂
amazing video bosmek 10/10, proper goregrind unlike the other poser music (joke)
But the breakdown is legit dope!
Bom bom bombombombom *squik* Bom bombombombom
great song, no joke
When are you guys playing obscene extreme?
Now do some last days of humanity type gore noise! 🧠
A bit silly but genuinely helpfu lmao
lmaoooooo love that
bro your underrated af lmao
dude what tuning do you useeee i cannot figure it out 🥲 also how do you tab out riffs lol
This some very exotic thing called "Drop D". :D
I also restrain from usind more than the lowest 3 strings.
For these youtube songs I don't write them down at all, for more complex projects I use Guitar Pro 7, like everyone else haha. Just cooking with water over here.
does anyone know where I can find the gate expander for free
If you have an AmpSim, there should be one there, it's basic stuff. Also there is probably a stock version in your DAW. Maybe it's just called gate or noise gate. Expander is a bit of a weird wording for that tbh. If not, I bet there are free noise gates as VSTs out there as well. :)
Can you please make a video about first wave black black metal?
I covered black metal last year, its on the channel. Dont know if thats first wave tho, guess you have to just take it as is. ;)
dayum the boss hm pedal on a pluginn? i feel old!! :P
1. You are.
2. There is nothing wrong with that.
3. Impersonating the sound characteristics of the Boss HM or HM2 or MC or MC2 is really nothing new. The developers of digital amp structures knew exactly what they had to cover, and the Boss HM2 was just too much of a characteristic sound to leave out. It has been, in what bastardization ever, included in almost all digital amp simulations.
Also thanks for watching, Im drunk.
14:39 reminds me of gutalax!😂🤘🤘
💩💩💩
Oooh
me da amsiedad que se ria por todo bld
Is it wrong for me to love goregrind? And this video?
Go pray 5 ave marias and 10 Lords prayers and you will be finde, my son.
Goregrind, the worst genre and that’s why I love it
You forgot about pitch shifted growling
The Goregrind bands I know are all very proud of not using any pitch shifting so I assumed it's kinda forbidden.^^
@@Bosmek most of the old school bands use pitch shifting
An exception to that is bands like carcass or napalm death
@@SpywareVA The more you know haha.
@Pathologist do you know the definition of "Exception"
@@SpywareVACarcass used pitch shifting on their second album.
Oompa oompa drum beat, pig/animal noises, not going past the 4th fret, terrible production, and dirty humor and there ya go, every goregrind/pornogrind song ever lol
I think this needs pitch shift vocals
Well, too late.^^
Uggggghhhhltimate generic lol
But why is the Production so good?
Where's the Carcass and Xysma?
My Inspiration was mainly VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC, and they sound pretty clean. Xysma is an interesting case though, thanks for pointing that out. That was a nasty sounding record, but hey, guess that was state of the art back in '89. Funny how they switched their style completely to old people rock music lol.
@@Bosmek I could also recommend Rotting Flesh, awesome early 90s Goregrind from Brazil, similar to Cracass, Xysma or Exulceration
What program do u use?
Studio One 5.
blast beats are what Grindcore's all about, i listen to Goregrind as well but "generic" , no thanks, i love it as underground, non commercial, non technical as it can be. the more brutal the better. for Goregrind i prefer ldoh, Neuro-visceral Exhumation, Gruesome Stuff Relish and pig squeals suck ass.
Completely tasteless? This dude does not listen to gore grind
but what app is this?
Tinder
@@Bosmek where did you make the song
@@tomasalexandresilva9303 At home. :D
(it's Studio One 5)
Does the guitar have 6 or 7 strings and what kind of tuning do you use?
6 and drop D, nothing fancy here. ;)
Next how to write metalcore 90s or early and mid 00s song
Imma do Metalcore soon, aiming for 2005-2009 era. :)
Guitar tone is wrong, everything should be turned up all the way except mids which should be turned all the way down 😂
>SCOOOOOOOOP
:D
Guy doesnt know the difference between goregrind and brutal death metal.
Please explain senpai. :3
