- GoPro Labs is an incredible software from GoPro that allows you to unlock a ton of hidden features beyond the GoPro's stock capabilities. I use this software a lot with my naked GoPro cameras that I have mounted on some of my FPV drones. But I also use it for things like increasing bitrate, adding histograms to my cameras, turning off noise reduction, and so much more.

Thanks Parker, great to see Labs getting more awareness. One technical correction, at 6m52s you talk of disabling noise reduction "by setting to 0", however to reduce the noise reduction you need to set it to 1, as 0 disables the hack (so stock NR.) All Labs extras are disabled with 0, disabling NR01 is sort of a double negative, sorry this was made confusing.
The chapter size extension will allow HERO11 and 12 to go beyond 12GB. Try !M64BT=32000 to set 32GB chapters (maximum 64GB.) For FPV, you will never seeing broken up captures.

there are a lot of grammatical errors in the descriptions in gopro lab. I feel like this tool is intended for such a small audience that Gopro didn't even bother to proof read what is written lol.

Yeah just instaled this firmware for my 11 mini and it's absolutely amazing . Need to just learn all those features but already looks better with more flater profil 🙏🏼👌🏼

I also have the Action 4 that I thought was going to prevent me from buying another GoPro mini but honestly I’m a little underwhelmed. Not sure if I need to work on my settings or what but the stabilization is not close to GoPro, and …. Well, I guess I’m still trying to decide. Anyway, great vid!
brill little video buddy. i have the mini 11 and the histo is on the tiny little lcd screen on the top and really wish it could show up in the quik app preview like it does in the dji action 4 app. all round good advice and the noise reduction i've now turned fully off as you cant beat neatvdieo. appreciate the info
Thanks for this video. What happens if you do simmelar changes in exstra/modes/protune. you can change picture profiles that override settings you do in modes and protune? You can choose shutter in both modes like an example. So how have the last “word”

Anyone help I downloaded the labs firmware copied it to sd card put the card back in the camera tried to scan a QR code keeps rejecting the codes any idea what I need to do please

music is too loud, it is hard to understand you. It is not good style neither and unnecessary. It was hard to not stop your video because of the disturbing music.
Do not download this for the GoPro 12, as it will mess it up and ruin the focus mechanism, amongst other things. It ruined my new 12 and I have to send it in for a replacement.
