I appreciate the authenticity of showing your first attempt despite the challenges. Many content creators would reload their save game or re-record to make it appear they did it perfectly the first time.

Looks like the turrets in space age would shoot at any asteroid that's in range, instead of like space exploration where it only shoots asteroids that are likely to collide with the ship, so slim ships are less useful due to a lot of firepower are wasted on missed asteroids.

The mice however are able to type faster, but with the arthritis and size are unable to hold the pen to write even when banding together. But, with alzheimers, the kangaroos efficiently is practically peaked, while the mice seem to have potential. Are they worth the investment enough to hire a worse secretary off the bat? Basically, Do you think they eventually can outpace the kangaroo in reasonable time? I have to make a decision tomorrow
I think a good mod (or base feature) would be an extra checkbox for inserters to allow throwing things to space, and let you toggle having it off by default.
I'm so excited for the expansion on Monday! Kinda wish I could afford to take the week off to just no-life it for a while but it's probably healthier for me to take it slow anyway
Oef, having watched some space ships being build now, that was rough. I hope your newer itteration scale up a bit. So you can make some more ammo, and fuel on the way. Also I don't think it is usefull to have the collectors overlap so much
@@populer208 Honestly I find it respectable that he didnt, reloading can be boring and imo is best left until you're 100% stuck! (personal opinion) If you just reload away all your problems then you lose the fun of messing up and having to find ways to get around those issues (which can sometimes help you adapt for the future)
I accidentally control-clicked 150 foundation and it instantly launched it all back to my homeplanet. wasted three rockets because theres no warning before jettisoning cargo back to the orbiting planet, instant ragequit for the night, ruined my sesh. besides that, good game and dlc. just got my roxket silo up finally today and WANTED to try for white science but NEVERMIND I guess..
This depends entirely on how one defines "reasonable". It's expensive, and I suspect one would need to have the platform cruising between planets to find enough chunks, but it does have the upsides of being infinite, pollution-free, and taking up about 0 space on any planets.

I'm one of the people who have got access to the Space Age beta, but I am ashamed to admit I dedicated almost no time to it... I've been busy with work, some other games, finishing up Plutonium Energy 1.7.0 (and I will need to get more work on it done post Space Age and the PE 1.7.0 release). It's so cool to see you progress with the expansion, but I'll have to stop watching to not spoiler too much for myself. Nice vids, sir!

I get the feeling that arriving at your first planet other than Nauvis flying half a ship will be something every Space Age player will experience.

The game auto saves right before you leave the planet, he could have easily given up and tried again.

Can you explain orbital logistics? Seems like it's ground to orbit only, not space platform to space platform.
