Malaysians are very lucky that we developed our palate to eat all kind of cuisines. We eat Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Italian & Arabic other than local foods. Thanks iChang for this video
Selangor and KL only. After moving to Terengganu, i miss every food that i could eat at Selangor 😭😭 i only can eat Terengganu food at Terengganu
We need more Mexican and Italian food in Malaysia...! Yummy!
What about other than Malaysians? They don't develop their palate to eat cuisines other than their own? I'm pretty sure there are Malaysians who only prefer Chinese economy rice or Minang nasi padang or Mamak nasi kandar. Broad stroke comments such as this sounds like self-gratification.
@@IsaacRizard yes. i guess the Japanese, Koreans, Italians and Arabs have roti Canai & curry for breakfast, Chicken Rice for lunch & Spaghetti for dinner too. And they have Nasi Lemak place in their shopping complexes just as well. Thanks for the clarification ya
@@YusufDjuly Well done for your emotional response. That's the way to go for Malaysians...
Whoaa! My wife just made the juicy beef bun tonight because we missed the one in Hong Kong very much. All of the sudden, you posted this video.. thank you for bringing back the reminiscence of our time there..😆😭👍🏾
Could you please share the recipe that your wife used? My husband made it around 15 years ago because we missed that same one from Islam food. But then he lost the recipe never got round to searching for a good one.
Follow just to get the recipe.. 😅
Please share the recipe sir... 🙏☺️
park for the recipe...thank you...
Following for recipe 😳
Ma,,,, meaning Muhammad ,,,in Hui Muslim dialect,,,
I do miss eating Chinese halal food,, already 2 years cannot go back to my wife original home town at Mianyang Sichuan 45 minutes bullet train ride from Chengdu,,
That beef bun so juicy,, it's consider as Chinese burger,,,,,,
My wife is third generation Hui Muslim citizen of Malaysia,,,,,
Stay safe and stay happy 🇲🇾
Alhamdulillah...
Rezeki kurniaan ALLAH...
Congratulations for marrying a Chinese sir💐
I do envy you😅
The price quite reasonable with the food portion.. Wanna try if I go HK next time. Thanks iChang.
Watching the two of you enjoying food makes me miss when my husband and I were younger...without kids and grandkids. We used to do this, too! Albeit on a much less exotic scale...in Birmingham Alabama there are only a few authentic restaurants...but in the 90s, we hit them all! 🤌🏼
Always loving your content!!
Birmingham Alabama. I drove pass through it Christmas Day 1988
@@adiman6452 you did the right thing! lol
You know most foreigner usually go to South East Asia to shopping because of currency different. They called us the shopping region. If we didn't have covid you and your family could come to SEA for a vacation and still have money left.
All the while it's iChang that craving for Malaysian food. How the table has turned that now Malaysian craving for HK's food. Good sharing!
I think it should be "Malaysian craving for Japanese food". By the way, how about iChang try to show us halal Japanese food... just can't wait for it.. 😋
Ichang and Jimmy are so kind hearted and very open minded about all culture.l always enjoyed watching all of yours videos and excited for up coming videos🥺
Safety and cleanliness! You got that right ichang 💯 marks for you 👏🏽
Arigato IChang & Jimmy for the video. Useful for Muslim travellers to HongKong.
I was waiting for the part where I Chang said “If you have eaten Malaysian food frequently, these dishes are a little light” hahaha. In Malaysia everything is extra, our Fried mee are all black, the more Dark soy sauce the better, the more chilli, the spicier the better haha. Nevertheless I can’t wait to go and taste this. It’s always great to be able to taste halal non halal dishes!! Thank you Jimmy and I Chang ❤️
I already ate my dinner, but when watching both of you eating, seem im going to order something via grabfood...hahahaha
Sama la.. 😂
Please show us more Halal restaurant in Hong Kong 🇭🇰
We were here in 2019. Have to walk quite far from the MRT. It's good that now there's new Kowloon MRT station. We tried beef buns & mutton curry. So yummy 😋
For your info, there is a Malaysian Durian Festival 2021 at Hotel Icon in Hong Kong, featuring All about durian afternoon tea. Lots of Malaysian dishes & durian buffet. Don't miss it.
Perfect content. Food + historical story = ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
that was nice restaurant... and delicious food too... great job ichang and Jimmy...
Ini iChang was so clever. Lots of knowledge.
Watching you guys eat always make me feel hungry at night 😄
I suggest iChang & Jimmy to be the invited as guest judges of any cooking competition in Malaysia 😍
A few years back, I tried the halal food ( dimsum) in a restaurant above a mosque in HK but cant remember the name of the place. Thanks for recommending this halal place.
Wan Chai Mosque
@@bapakberuang TQ. Yes it is Wan Chai Mosque. 😊
I was waiting since 8 pm refreshing the page. Finally. Yahoo
Been there few years back. Memang sedap.
This reminds of the juicy roasted duck rice at Wai Kee Curry Mee, Bowrington Road in Hong Kong. Its halal and taste good!
Also theres a restaurant at 5th floor of Masjid Ammar. Serves a rather tasty spread of dimsums.
I had dinner there every night when I was in HK. Delicious food, generous portion and reasonable price. I miss the juicy beef cake.
Tombirang.......
Sya Orang Sabah pun pernah pergi Hong Kong....
your story-telling skill is awssome jimmy
My favorite spot at Kowloon. Too bad I can't try the beef dish because I can't eat it. Thanks iChang for showing to us and also Jasmin and KK.
Next time I am in HK, I will make sure I visit them. Looks delicious. The price for all that food seems reasonable for HK. A long time ago, I used to go to a variety of Indian/Pakistani restaurants located in the famed Chungking Mansion in Tsim Sha Tsui, along Nathan Road. I am believe several of them are still around and they serve halal food from the Indian sub-continent. Thanks for sharing this video.
Thanks for this another option for muslims in kowloon side… previously i have always went to the islamic centre 4th floor near times square
Been there long time ago.. delicious...food price also quite resonable
Dayyum..everything looks so good. 😂 Having my second dinner because of the video, lol. 😂
Whenever jimmy eat, i will laugh because of his face reaction but of course in a good way and ichang look so cute.. enjoy watching your video.. 👍👍👍
Jimmy & iChang can be named as the "Food Ambassador of Malaysia & Hong Kong".
There's another halal place called Ma's Restaurant in Sham Sui Po. I went to Hong Kong 2 years ago but I still think about their Szechuan Chicken 🤤🤤🤤
Please show us more Halal restaurants in HK ya! Terima kasih
Juicy beef cake look so tempting for me! Its suddenly make me hungry.
Roti Pita + kari kambing/daging ✔
That beef pie is out of the world
Hi.. have you guys been to canteen in Masjid Ammar and Osman Ramju Sadick Islamic Centre at 40 Oi Kwan Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong? Most of malay & pakistan go there to have halal food & pray.. you guys can try the food there if you haven't been there yet..
all that foods looked so tempting!!! I hope I will have another chance to visit Hong Kong and try to visit this restaurant.
Omg i miss this place. I ate here everyday and tried everything while I was in hongkong for a week on business trip! 😂😂
I tried the curry beef brisket when visited HK few years back and it was so good. You should order that on your next visit.

it's make me feel hungry after I watch your video!!! good job ichang and jimmy
hello , buddhist delight is the most popular entree for family sharing - most vegetables are organic from their belief of recyling (ex: egg shells are good for soil too)
meijian - glutan food
shuchai - no meat plate
zhaicai - pure vegetable plate (one ingrediant)
elle for bamboo is roots
halal means it is the makers are or the animals and vegetables were blessed by buddhists before cooking
it is nice to know that historical story of it. and to know that they had Muslim police officer in that era in Hong Kong...
I can almost taste the beef bun virtually. Looks so delicious.
You should try the beef brisket curry next time! Utterly delicious 🤤
Been here several times, the food is good especially the beef curry
Eating halal is healthy! Glad you enjoyed it!
The price is very reasonable for all the nice food and portion is just okay 👍🏼
Whoa! This need to put into my wishlist.
Thanks ichang

iChang & Jimmy, I recently watch my first Singaporean TV Soap called The Little Nyonya on Netflix. I quite enjoyed it because of the cooking. It is a soap opera so what can I say. There waa a bit of connection with Japan. Maybe you have some Nyonya ancestry. 😉
Everything looks tasty except the noodles. Thanks for sharing guys.
As a malay I've always wanted to try authentic chinese food, but where I live we don't have halal chinese restaurant so it's either I need to cook it myself or I'm never gonna taste it 😩😭😌

I really miss Hong Kong. I've been there twice before the pandemic. Beautiful country with so much nature. I've tried those pan-fried buns. They were so good. Halal food is not hard to find if you know your way around Hong Kong.
I want to eat Chinese Halal dumplings in Malaysia now!!
Woah,👍👍👍👍.♥️❤️♥️ iChang and Jimmy.
Thank you 🙏 now we know where to eat
Not all malaysian eat the very spicy food, we from the east ( borneo) majority don’t eat spicy n oily much, we prefer boil
There was this one Halal restaurant called Ma’s Restaurant at Sham Shui Po that sells almost the same halal juicy fried bun.. however due to corona, they shut down their business.
I tried the beef bun at Shanghai and being my favourite ever since. 😊
Juicy beef cake... Reminds of Xian they are famous for it.. Yummmm
