When you don't have the "jet fire" at home to get your wok boiling , you could use a lid cover to keep the heat within to get the boiling effect. Btw, the stock wasn't enough, ought to top up , that's why you ended up with a drier noodle when it should be a noodle soup dish.

We can tell that maggi is perfect when chili & egg added. Simple yet tasty. I prefer maggi with just a bit of kuah bcs it's tastier when the kuah is thick, extra spicy 🔥🤤

Before we start new semester at university, we used to brought loads of maggi and keep it in our drawer. the roomates will ask, "who have the maggi?", they will pay for it😂😂our precious maggi😂. i used to cook maggi with egg only, since we don't have stove in our room which is not allowed.. Then we moved to rent house, and my housemate used to cook it and we eat together while sharing how bad and fun our day was. Missing all the housemates badly🤗🤗😥. For Maggie Ayam 1. Throw 2 packet noodles in hot water and drain it when it’s cooked 2. Beat 3 eggs with the packet of Maggie Ayam seasoning (you will have 2 packets since you threw 2 noodles) 3. Mix your cooked noodle into the seasoning & eggs filling 4. Fry your noodle with oil (like pancake ) , flip both sides 5. Turn off fire when the noodle & mixture of eggs turned light brown 6. Served when it’s hot , I used to eat it as snacks Gambateh!
Maggi ayam suggestion: buy ready made carbonara sauce or any creamy sauce (or make your own), heat it up in a pan, add mushroom if you like, dilute with a little chicken stock, add the maggi powder, then add the noodles. in my family, maggi ayam is only for kids who can't take spicy food (yet). Adults in our family don't eat maggi ayam 😂
I prefer if have more kuah (soup). To have more kuah, usually I will boil the noodle separately. Later, I will mix the kuah and the noodle (noodle only) in a bowl.
I would normally cook it first with shallots and bird eye chillies, stir fry till fragrant with a lil oil, add water, powder, and 2packs of noodles. Once it starts to sizzle, i will then add in egg into it and close lit with slow fire. Fishball or crab sticks and veg are optional. Ready to serve once the noodle n egg starts to look edible. By the way im from Singapore.
The reason why 1 packet is not enough; you can add on other ingredients e.g. egg, vegetables etc to make it a complete meal. By the way, Maggi Kari is just too spicy for me. Normally, I just use half of the seasoning powder and just add on other condiments e.g. ketchup, soy sauce, fish sauce etc....and the taste is never got wrong with Meggi...
If you want to make simple one, just put an egg and mix it with the broth. After putting the egg, make sure to lower the temperature and stir it well. The egg will make the broth thick and flavorful.
I always put egg, mustard leaves (sawi), black pepper, sesame oil & spring onion for Maggi Ayam to eat when I feel sick & only want light food! Put extra broth since Maggi Ayam is on the salty side. Good to try if you want something light & peppery~

Ratio is 1 pack maggi : 2 glass of water (abt 400ml) Add the flavour powder, add in 1 cube of chicken stock. When the soup is simmering, add in the noodles, crack in 2 eggs. You’re almost done.

That step only acceptable for Hot Cup Maggi. Maggi Kari need at least to fry shallot first before adding water to the pot, add the noodle and egg after it start boiling
There is no wax in the instant noodles. Although the soup made using water from the first round of noodle cooking tastes better, I still discard that to avoid the excess oil and salts from the noodles. Just pretend its healthier that way.
Maggi + hot water only for those with no idea of food. Instant noodles for students & others with no time to think of eating well. Btw, yr cooking pan is too shallow to take in more soup for the amount of ingredients & the Maggi mee to cook well some more.

I once drove long distance, alone, and I started late and it was already midnight, raining, and very dark, so i had to stop over halfway and spend the night at some budget inn before I could continue with the rest of the journey the next morning. And because I was rushing to cover the miles, I didn't stop for dinner anywhere along the way earlier. The inn had a tiny mini market section next to its reception - and they had maggi on their shelf! After paying, I rushed up to my room, put my bag down, and boiled some water in the electric jug provided, and made myself one convenient maggi curry in the cup! For Maggi Ayam, before you modify it like this one, try it plain! One packet cooked plain, another packet cooked with an egg, half cooked like you guys did. It is a superb comfort food.
Stir the curry powder in water (around 20-30ml will do) before cooking it. Else you'll have the problem like 14:54, it only applies to curry flavor, chicken / laksa / other flavors don't have this problem. Learned this trick by observing how the mamak store cooked the maggi goreng kari.

By the way, Maggi Kari is just too spicy for me. Normally, I just use half of the seasoning powder and just add on other condiments e.g. ketchup, soy sauce, fish sauce etc....and the taste is never got wrong with Meggi...

A big pack of "maggi kari" in Malaysia is only RM3. And the cooking looks good though. Nice work.
If you want to make simple one, just put an egg and mix it with the broth. After putting the egg, make sure to lower the temperature and stir it well. The egg will make the broth thick and flavorful.
I always put egg, mustard leaves (sawi), black pepper, sesame oil & spring onion for Maggi Ayam to eat when I feel sick & only want light food! Put extra broth since Maggi Ayam is on the salty side. Good to try if you want something light & peppery~
the maggi you guys made looks so delicious! by the way, i think you guys should put more water or the soup stock into the pan when cooking. Also, for 3 packets of maggi, probably only need to use 2 packets of the curry powder because already using the chicken stock for the soup.

There's another way to cook it. You can boil it until cooked. Remove the water and add one egg to the Maggie, mix it. Then you can cook it for a few minutes? Like that, then you can eat it. 💜
Maggi ayam my style, sauté some blended shallots & garlic with 2-3 tablespoons of heated oil in a pot. Lightly mashed 2-3 bird eye chillies and add in the pot.
Add seafood like prawns, chicken, fishball/fishcake etc.
Add pak choy or sayur sawi (the hard stems first and the leaves later) Add in water. Ratio is 1 pack maggi : 2 glass of water (abt 400ml)
Add the flavour powder, add in 1 cube of chicken stock.
When the soup is simmering, add in the noodles, crack in 2 eggs. You’re almost done.
I feel so super hungry!

I like to boil my vegetable and protein(chicken/squid/fishball/anything) with the maggi seasoning and when it soften enough I add the noodles, eggs and you’re done! The seasoning really seep into them nicely 👍🏻

I bet you will like the taste if you follow this step...(i always cook it during highschool)
1. Pour hot water into the 1 packet of Maggi kari (until the noodle is soak).
2. After 2 minutes, filter the noodle. (the reason is to remove the wax from the noodle so it get better taste)
3. After that, put the seasoning on the noodle
4. Then, pour about 150ml of hot water
5. Finally enjoy the instant noodle
That step only acceptable for Hot Cup Maggi. Maggi Kari need at least to fry shallot first before adding water to the pot, add the noodle and egg after it start boiling

Sieve not filter. Sieve tu tapis atau penapis sayur yg digunakan di dapur. Filter tu penuras atau penapis cecair spt minyak dan air.
honestly i perfectly prefer the taste before rinsing it one round...the second round after rinsing it feels healthy ! HAHHHAHA
There is no wax in the instant noodles. Although the soup made using water from the first round of noodle cooking tastes better, I still discard that to avoid the excess oil and salts from the noodles. Just pretend its healthier that way.

I once drove long distance, alone, and I started late and it was already midnight, raining, and very dark, so i had to stop over halfway and spend the night at some budget inn before I could continue with the rest of the journey the next morning. And because I was rushing to cover the miles, I didn't stop for dinner anywhere along the way earlier. The inn had a tiny mini market section next to its reception - and they had maggi on their shelf! After paying, I rushed up to my room, put my bag down, and boiled some water in the electric jug provided, and made myself one convenient maggi curry in the cup! I also bought some veggie biscuits which I dipped into the kuah of that maggi curry, deliciousss! I was really hungry before, by then i was really contented :)

U can cook the same way for any maggi...ayam,kari.tomyam...just adds protein.vegetable.chili.onion&garlic.if u want make it dried just add a little water to soften the noodle..if u want make it berkuah.add more water..thats it..simple but tasty 😋

My favourite is to add tomato ketchup instead of chilli sauce. It balances the spiciness and gives some tangy taste. Delicious! 🤤

For Maggi Ayam, before you modify it like this one, try it plain! One packet cooked plain, another packet cooked with an egg, half cooked like you guys did. It is a superb comfort food.
Add some chopped chili for the one with egg..cooked with less soupy!
And if you still hungry just add rice to the soup, my mom always do that whenever we had maggi

Stir the curry powder in water (around 20-30ml will do) before cooking it. Else you'll have the problem like 14:54, it only applies to curry flavor, chicken / laksa / other flavors don't have this problem. Learned this trick by observing how the mamak store cooked the maggi goreng kari.
